Hotel berhampiran Lapangan Terbang Calden, Kassel

Leider war nicht bei der Buchung zu erkennen, dass die Unterkunft nicht gehbehindert ausgerichtet war. In der Remise gab es keinen Fahrstuhl , sodass wir die frühzeitig abreisen mussten. Für ältere Menschen mit Gehbehinderung ist dieses Hotel nicht geeignet. Der Speisesaal wäre auch zu eng. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Sie sagten auf Ihrer Hotelseite wird es ausdrücklich darauf hinweisen. Bitte machen sie es auch. Es ist sehr schade, dass ich meiner Mutter keinen schönen Aufenthalt geben könnte. Individuelle Bewertung bezüglich der Übernachtung durch die Mitarbeiter/innen... Das Hotelzimmer war klasse ausgestattet, modern und sauber. Das Quadratsystem im Zimmer mit Kühlschrank, Gaderobe, TV und sonstigen Highlights ist ein ausgefallenes und cleveres System, wie ich es noch nie gesehen habe. Gute, ruhige Lage! Einfach empfehlenswert, die Mitarbeiter waren klassen und sehr nett. Die Lage ist top, nur wenige Gehminuten vom ICE-Bahnhof Wilhelmshöhe entfernt, nur zehn Minuten mit der Linie 1 in die Innenstadt...

We dont have anything negative to say about the hotel. Everything was working very well. The hotel is relatively new and well maintained. Service in the reception is good and all of the facilities are working as they should. Absolutely no issues on that part and considering the price, then it is an absolute bargain. We also visited the restaurant at the hotel and that was on the other hand a disaster. It was quite booked on the day we visited, because of some corporate event. This resulted in the waitress being a bit stressed, but it was still handled very badly. We waited half an hour to get the menu. After that we was informed that some of the courses couldnt be served, because they were out of different things, but we got an option to order one burger, which was not served on the homemade bread that normally was served, but on some cheap bun from the supermarket. Considering Covid-19 we also observed that menu's were just delivered from one occapied table to another - without any cleaning - and after we had observed that one guest had been licking their fingers between every side swap in the menu. Disgusting and in the current covid situation absolutely not acceptable. In total. 5 star for the hotel. 1 star for the restaurant. Would happily go back to visit hotel, but the restaurant visit was not acceptable.

The hotel was awesome. They had a dog bed set up in the room with a water and food dish, plus a doggie bag with food and treats from Terra Canis. Our dog loved it and she is a very picky eater. We thought this was very nice for the hotel to do. Made us feel at home. The view was awesome, We were on the 11th floor and you could look out over the city. At night with the lights was also pretty cool. The food was awesome, We ate dinner in the hotel and food was So Good, I would recommend it if you stay here. Breakfast had bacon and eggs and meats, cheeses, rolls and so much more. The service was also great. We also thought the location was great because they had a nice park right next to the hotel to walk with the dog. We also got lucky with free street parking right in front of the hotel.

Das Hotel ist in 5 min zu Fuss Vom Bahnhof aus zu erreichen. Check in war schnell erledigt, jedoch hatte der Mitarbeiter irgendwie keine Lust auf Gäste, und ließ daran auch keinen Zweifel. Das hätte auch jeder unaufmerksamere Gast gespürt. Wir nehmen an, daß wir diesen ”richtig wichtigen Menschen” arg gestört haben. Kleiner Tipp: beim Herablassend sein leiser sprechen, so daß die Gäste es nicht auch noch hören müssen und erst umdrehen und dann den Mund verziehen- nicht andersherum. Das Hotel ist, wie schon viele Leute geschrieben haben, arg renovierungsbedürftig und schon bissi düster und auch muffig. Im Bad gab's leider auch Schimmel und orangene Kalkablagerungen rund um die Armaturen an der Wanne , und Wollmäuse hinter den Vorhängen( was uns nur auffiel,weil wir die Steckdose dahinter benutzen wollten, die leider kaputt war. Seufz. Aber: das Bett war sehr gross und glatt und weiß und sauber und schön kühl! So wünscht man sich das Mitte Juli! Es war superleise im Haus! Man konnte Prima schlafen. Auch das Frühstück war klasse- es blieben keine Wünsche offen. Also wenn man es herunterbricht -was will man im Hotel? Gut essen und gut schlafen. Fertig. Das gab es ja auch. Aber wenn sich irgendwann demnächst trotz der schweren Zeiten eine Möglichkeit bietet zu renovieren oder auch mehr Personal einzustellen , sollte das getan werden. Ich fahre nur 1x im Jahr auf eine solche Städtereise und daher ist mir eine gute Qualität wichtig. Ich werde deshalb beim nächsten Mal woanders absteigen. Danke schön noch an die nette Mitarbeiterin an der Rezeption, die uns mit einem top- Freizeit-tip mit Anweisung zu bus und Tramverbindungen auf Papier einen tollen Tag beschert hat! Super war auch das Hotel-ticket das zur Mitfahrt in allen öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln berechtigt, daß macht vieles einfacher!

Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Da ich etwas vor der üblichen check in Zeit gekommen war, wurde ich auf das Zimmer begleitet. Mein Zimmer (Nr. 309) liegt nach hinten raus, also abseits der Straße. Zimmer und Bad sind für ein Hotel dieser Klasse sehr geräumig. Alles ist da, Kühlschrank, Wasserkocher (ohne Tee oder Kaffee) und ein Kühlschrank. Das Bett ist bequem und nicht durchgelegen. Einen kleinen Balkon hat das Zimmer auch noch. Weitere Vorteile: der Nahverkehr ist direkt vor der Tür, sodaß man gut in das Stadtzentrum kommt. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen.

I stayed for three nights. Rooms are cleaned only every 2 days, each additional cleaning costs 5€. Unfortunately the rooms are quite dirty (see photos). I reported the dirty shower to the front desk on day 1, but it still was dirty after ”cleaning” on day 3. The floor was also still dirty. You only get one little bottle of shower gel, no refills. The rooms look a bit shabby with pictures slipped halfway from the mat in their picture frame, and the dirt of course. WiFi is free but a completely unsecured network and unsurprisingly too slow to really use anyway. Front desk staff is friendly but full of excuses: It's hard to find cleaning staff, guests just take the shampoo and shower gel bottles home, everything has gotten so expensive, etc. - that shouldn't be the problem of a guest who's still paying full price for a room. The hotel is very close to the train station, which I found convenient, but the area isn't the nicest. Breakfast is decent enough. Would not stay here again.

Die Unterkunft befindet sich im Stadtzentrum, daher ist mit einer gewissen Geräuschkulisse zu rechnen. Wenn etwas fehlt, z.B. Geschirrtücher, Handtücher oder auch Toilettenpapier, kann man diese selbstständig im Waschraum abholen. Alle Türen werden über die Hotel App bedient, weshalb eine Freischaltung manchmal etwas dauern kann. Zimmerausstattung und Sauberkeit waren in Ordnung und die Möglichkeiten der kleinen Einbauküche (Geschirr, Mikrowelle, Kochfeld, Kühlschrank, Spülmaschine) ausreichend.

We were extremely surprised by how the hotel and room were comfortable . The receptionist welcomed us at 1:00 am with a big smile . The rooms were spacious , two queen beds and a cot, all what we needed as a family. The beds were comfortable and everything was immaculately clean . The bathroom again very clean . The best part was the breakfast . A wide variety of cheese , cereal and amazing pancakes. Everything in breakfast was well presented and again very clean . The waitress during the breakfast was just lovely and very reassuring since we were overwhelmed by our kids making a big mess . I give this hotel a 5 as it has all what we needed and more than we expected. As my oldest son said “ This hotel is amazing” . Parking is for a fee if 8 euros which is acceptable . Maybe during off seasons it could be for free unless it’s owned by a private company then it’s understandable. We will come again 100%
