Stayed at the White Knot in Jan -24 for 5 nights and even if the hotel isn't especially old (5-10y) it's quite run down on the outside. Don't let the pictures fool you it looks nothning like the pics. The "pool" should be called a foot-bath since it's really small, noone uses it. The reception was unmanned when we arrived and the staff hardly knows any english so took a while before we where able to check in and get our rooms. Beach is so-so with quite alot of gravel and branches and leaves. Sun chairs? naa rather ordinary plastic chairs - we went to other beaches nearby instead. On the good side - apartments/rooms are quite cosy with a fairly big bathrom, clean and realtively high standard. Internet/Wi-Fi is really good, you will get european standards in the reception area (150-200Mbps) and around 25-40Mbps in the rooms - this is among the best i've seen during our 4-week stay in Thailand. All in all you're probably better of chosing a different hotel, there are quite many in the same price range that are alot better.
