11/25/23 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Friendly ,professional and accommodating staff Very private and quiet location 3 wonderful nights Arrived at 12:00pm . Rooms were available and the wonderful receptionist checked me in early. The room I reserve was older. I viewed the renovated rooms by the reception building and it was magical. Modern, King bed , large tub for two, high ceiling , balcony, rain shower , water kettle , beach and bath towel etc etc . Take my money please !!!!!!! Paid extra , but so worth it( see pics). Breakfast was simple: eggs, pancakes , thai food , instant coffee, tea bags , hot water , fruits and salad. Resort is next to the beach. Fine sand, calm shallow water , very clean and baby elephants playing in the sea. The staff here is what made this resort shine. Always greeted with a smile Plenty of auto and bike parking. Location: 30 min to the ferry/pier 5 minute walk to the main road 5 “. “ to amazing restaurants , bars, live music , massages, cafes , motorbike rentals , ****s shops , etc etc . Best location for all your needs. Lovely stay. Looking forward to my next visit .

This time-beaten resort is overpriced. It is no on Kaie Bae beach, it is relatively close to it. The hotel's beach itself is poor. It is very narrow, with sharp rocks from the very first steps in the water and quite shallow on low tide. You have to go in quite a bit to start swimming without hitting some submerged rock with your hands and feet. Bring water shoes for swimming. The facilities are rundown. A single restaurant serves a good breakfast (included) and mediocre dinners (for extra $$). Two pools are boring. The property should spend some money on redecoration and a general cleanup. The ”adults-only” reservoir is filled with dirty water, of course no one hangs around that place. The villas are OK, but their walls do not hold any sound inside. If you are a couple, you have to rely on people not being too inquisitive and passing by your hut quickly enough. It is instructive that, once you book this property, your money is seized. You cannot cancel and get a refund. The only option is to change the dates and pay the difference, if any. All trips are to be paid in cash, as the property management apparently have no idea how the modern credit system works. When I needed to pay something with the credit card, they insisted I should sign a blank form authorization for my cc use (with my passport number and all the personal data) - and no sum to be charged was included anywhere on the form! It's like signing a blank cheque, surely enough, I had to refuse. As other reviewers note, the overall quality is OK, quite passable, yet the idea that you could get a substantially better accommodation on a better beach for the same price or less is discouraging. Those who consider GajaPuri should consider 5-star resorts on the island and compare prices. You might be surprised.

Agoda TÜRKÇE sayfasından rezervasyon yaptık,tüm sayfa Türkçe olmasına rağmen,’Havuzun Kapalı’olduğu İngilizce ve küçücük yazılmış.Rezervasyonu iptal etmek için 24 saat Agoda’yla yazışmak zorunda kaldık ve sadece yarısını ödemeyi kabul ettiler.Bütün gün havuz tamirinin gürültüsünü dinledik.Hiç bitmeyen matkap ve çekiç sesi!.Otelin resimlerine bakınca harika bir deniz gözüküyor ama YOK!…Sırf kayalık ve çok sığ.Şezlong yok,şemsiye yok,personel yok,rezalet bir kahvaltı,çok kötü bir akşam yemeği.Dışarı çıkayım derseniz de,açık restaurant ya da dükkan bulamayacaksınız.Sadece Seven Eleven.Check out yaparken söylememe rağmen akşam yemeğinin parasını almadılar.Otelden ayrıldıktan sonra da bana tehdit dolu bir mesaj atıp geri gelmemi istediler.Yediğim yemeğin iki katı taksi parası ödedim.Malesef yazılacak hiç iyi bir şey yok…Worst hotel I've stayed in. There is no staff in the hotel. Indoor pool for months. Construction noise all day. A lousy breakfast. very bad dinner. There is no sea in the pictures. Rocky and very shallow. No beach chairs and umbrellas. When you want to go out, most of the restaurants and shops are closed. I checked out, Although I don't say Those who don't pay for dinner. After I left the hotel, they sent me a threatening e-mail!. I paid twice the taxi fare for dinner. Sorry, I don't have any good comments to write😂

This was our fifth visit to this hotel since 2016. The hotel is outdated, physically outdated. The rooms started to just crumble. Outlets fall out, plumbing flows in the wrong place. Mattresses are old. Bed linen and towels are old and have been washed many times. Many rooms are closed due to technical problems and are not available for living. The wooden platform of the hotel has become dangerous for those who weigh more than a centner. In many places the boards fell through, the nails stick out. The pool was redone: the tiles were removed, the walls and bottom were finished with ”plaster”, which fell off safely and lies on the bottom. The new ”King rooms with a balcony” on the second floor are not even up to super-economy: there are lockers for clothes that you borrowed from the gym and they come with a bunch of bracelet keys that you have to carry with you; these same lockers are called a safe; the water in the shower was only cold and very weak; a strong sewer smell in the room, which they unsuccessfully try to block with fragrances; the air conditioner is noisy, because there is no soundproofing; but there is a balcony overlooking the family room opposite. Breakfast spoiled, this can not be called breakfast: coffee - sachet 3in1; cheap sandwich - with a foul-smelling filling, a boiled egg, seasonal unripe fruits in paper trays ... WI-FI works very poorly. Thirty different access points and no speed. There is no management at the hotel, since it is all in GajaPuri, in The Stage there are only technical staff who are not able to resolve emerging issues .. After five days of stay, we were forced to leave this hotel, as it was uncomfortable and dangerous to stay in it. The process of returning the money was delayed for the whole day. Only the active participation of Booking.com and the mention of the tourist police helped to resolve the situation. As a result: the hotel is highly recommended for visiting. For such money you can live in more comfortable conditions! p.s. what's on the street: Tesko mini has closed, Bobby's fruit stand with the cheerful polyglot Ali has closed, family massage in the alley has closed.

So, where do I start!? I've given them 3/5 as any lower is mean based on the fact they are trying. Sort of. Our (sea view deluxe suite) room was not as described. They have many variants of each room type , but they use a collection of photos from each room to create ”one room”. This means when you arrive your room won't be as you expected it. Our ”suite” was sold with pictures (and description) as being a Thai style house, with separate living area, a sun drenched reading area / lounge, and a double sized outdoor sun lounging terrace. £95 a night (half price apparently, according to ***********). The reality was one large bedroom, one bathroom. No lounge. The far walls were painted breeze block with a TV attached that you cant realistically watch unless standing. No phone. Nothing. Very basic for £95. Sun deck half the size of the photos. My complaints were met with confusion by a teenage reception trainee. I got the distinct feeling I was not the first to complain. The photos sold a wooden panelled Thai house with sun room. We got a very large square largely-empty room. Excitement of a treat turned to disappointment. We eventually got moved to a private pool suite. Nice room (way way nicer then the other) but the pool is on the shaded side, facing the road and a ***** / ****** club. A novelty as you won't use it other than first thing in the morning when it gets the sun ( the pool , not the *******). We subsequently downgraded to a garden view room which was, in fairness, lovely. The beach is superb. Clear water, gets deep fairly fast. Nice swings and hammocks. The bar staff are lovely and could not do enough to help. Always willing to extend happy hour :-) special thanks to Yoyo and his dark haired friend who were a joy to deal with. The food is fine but severely limited. Fried rice 10 ways, or chicken nuggets. It's a crying shame as the beach bar empties before 9pm. There is so much more on offer only yards away down the road. The food offering is cut back and lazy. The top infinity pool is stunning,and often,you are the only ones there. Dec 2022 and they had not filled it completely until a week of being here . One one occasion we went up to find three divers doing their PADI in the pool. Rather cheeky! The bottom pool is unused. Tips: do not let the young trainee take any kind of bookings. I'm going to call her ”smiles a lot”. Smiles A Lot will give you a firm price for extending your stay after being on the phone to her boss, down to the last baht. When you go to move rooms she will deny you had an entire conversation the previous day, smile, blink, smile, and ignore there is any issue. Her colleague said ”she is just a trainee”, we said, ” we now have nowhere to stay.!!”. Useless. After two years of no trade, I get it, they are recovering, but this place is fairly run down. Sarapan adalah sangat baik dan menyelerakan. Rasa tidak selesa untuk duduk di kerusi tinggi di tepi tingkap. Ia mempunyai pantai sendiri dan sangat mudah untuk berbaring di hotel. Terdapat banyak kedai di sekitar dan kehidupan sangat mudah. Saya akan menempah di sini lain kali saya datang ke Koh Chang.
