Hotel berhampiran Gai & Deiw di Koh Samui

The large hotel has modern and very clean rooms and a very good room service. The TV in my room did not work. The swimming pool is very nice but unfortunately there is no gym available. You can rent a motorbike there for 300 baht per day (quite expensive) but unfortunately the staff there is not easy to reach when you wanna return the bike. You can park the bike at the nearby Central shopping mall which is quite complicated because the parking space is very narrow. All in all I would recommend the hotel!

Away from the hustle of central Chaweng, so is a good spot to be based for quiet times and used as a base to explore the island. Beachfront pool villas are nice, large and great views of the ocean. Private pool is a bonus and well worth the upgrade. Hotel was busy when I stayed and everyone seemed to be happy and enjoying themselves. The pool isn’t the largest but plentiful for the amount of rooms. Don’t forget, there are the villas with private pools, so a fair number of guests will be in their own area. Access to the beach is not directly in front of the hotel, but that’s a good thing otherwise I would be hearing everyone in front of my villa each day. Access is the side of the resort just past the restaurant. Along this stretch of beach has a few other hotel bars and restaurants to eat and drink in and if you head to the furtherest headland point, and head inland, you will come across a handful of bars and restaurants. As many people have said, the hotel is next to a road - but like most hotels in Samui, it’s just the design of the island. You can avoid the main road for your walk to the local area by going along the stretch of beach. And when you are on the island, why wouldn’t you want to walk along the beach?! So don’t listen to those comments about nothing nearby. If you want the hustle of the nightlife, Chaweng central is 15 minutes away. Get on the shuttle or order a taxi for 300thb. It’s a 4 star hotel, trying to get back to some kind of normal after covid and over time, I am sure the owners will reinvest their money to make improvements where some other guests have commented about in other posts but I do think it is dependent on the room type you book and/or are assigned as most of them are fine. Give it a go, it is worth it. I’ve been to many hotels over the years - more than the average Joe - and it’s only recently where I’ve checked in and out of two hotels on the same day in all these years.

When we arrived at Ko Samui airport, the transfer service from the hotel worked perfectly. We received a very warm welcome at the hotel and were given our room straight away. The room (Grand Deluxe Room) far exceeded our expectations. It's less of a room and more of a small apartment without a kitchen. The hotel complex is absolutely paradisiacal. Lots of beautiful plants and very well maintained. The beach was amazing, the most beautiful beach we have seen on Ko Samui (we explored the whole island by motorbike that we also rent from the hotel). The sea - turquoise blue clear water. The great thing is that it is a private beach so only accessible to hotel guests and therefore not overcrowded. The food was fantastic. There is a very large selection and there really is something for everyone. The pool area directly on the beach with an included pool bar is very beautiful. And the cleanliness of the whole hotel was excellent. What particularly impressed us and what we have never experienced on our many trips... was the warmth and friendliness of all the staff. Everyone was always helpful, funny and good organized. Friendships developed in this short time, for which we are very grateful. We would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for what you have done for us. You gave us a wonderful honeymoon and organized such a beautiful candlelight dinner that we will never forget in our lives. We were a family of 4, staying in 2 rooms for 2 nights. We were very impressed with the care and attention given to the details by the entire hotel staff. And thank you for the great service provided to our family while staying here. which everyone was impressed and will remember this place in our memories And we thought we'd go back here again. It is a hotel with a very beautiful location in Thailand.

We had a beach bungalow (737) and it was absolutely amazing, it was right on the beach front a few steps away from the sand, bed was comfy the tv was good and the air con was efficient and kept us cool of a night time. You can just sit on the terrace and stare out onto the gorgeous beach with crystal clear water. The staff couldn’t do enough for you and really went above and beyond for my 21st birthday and done the room up and made me a cake. They was very friendly and polite and always made an effort to speak to you as you passed them. The food was good especially for free. The location was very good as you had the peace and quiet of an essentially private beach in a quiet area but down the road a 400 baht return taxi ride away was chaweng (central samui) which was very lively and had a lot of resteraunts and bars. Overall a faultless stay and I’d recommend this hotel to anybody.

Great Boutique hotel in Chaweng. Excellent value. The room were sparking clean and has everything one needs including beach towels and umbrellas. There is a pool but not gym which is fine. It is centrally located. The breakfast is OK but sufficient. Had a quick dinner meal one night since it was raining and had a long day and did not want to venture out to the many restaurants in the area. There was no one else so we did not have high expectations but the meals were excellent and my friend raved about the drink he got. The entire staff were excellent and so kind. Front desk were efficient and warm. The concierge had GREAT recommendations on tours. We took all the ones she recommended and were not disappointed. This part of Chaweng beach is OK. Not a swimmers beach, more of a just a dip in the ocean place. I was not able to take advantage of the Kayak but did that anyway on one of the tours we took. I love Samui and will definitely return and if staying in Chaweng will definitely want to be at The Stay again.

Hotel yang sejuk, untuk 3 bintang, pada pendapat saya, nilai terbaik untuk wang. Kami tinggal selama 9 malam bersama keluarga dan mengambil 2 bilik, kami diberi dua bilik bersebelahan dengan pintu dalaman di antara bilik - sangat mudah. Sarapan pagi adalah pelbagai, terdapat hidangan Thai dan set hidangan Eropah yang biasa, ia adalah perkara biasa untuk kanak-kanak. Air minuman disertakan 2 botol sehari setiap bilik, tuala pantai adalah percuma, pantai adalah kira-kira 10 minit berjalan kaki perlahan-lahan. Di hotel anda boleh menyewa basikal dan kereta, harga sewa tidak terlalu tinggi. Hotel ini mempunyai taman permainan, 2 kolam renang, gim. Terdapat WiFi percuma di hotel, tetapi anda tidak boleh mengharapkannya - kelajuannya rendah, lebih mudah untuk membeli kad SIM tempatan.

By far the best hotel at Koh Samui. It’s the 4th time we stay here. We had to skip twice because of Covid, but they used their time well: the whole resort got a makeover, and it’s even more beautifull then is already was. But the hospitality didn’t change, it’s still very good. Main reason is the lovely host Tan, she is the best and makes our stay even better that possible. We’ve recommended this resort to our friends and they will visit Baan Samui Resort next July aswell. I’m sure they will enjoy it as much as we do, also due to the lovely miss Tan.

This is my favorite hotel ever Holiday Inn Samui. Perfectly Breakfast, Fully furnished room, Big swimming pool, Kids playground, Kids Club and etc.I have to mention this; we met ‘Khun Nim’ at the great breakfast restaurant and she took our family to the Kid club… After 3 days our child almost sleep there. They’ve got 3 or 4 staffs am not sure to take care of your children and also break time to clean the room, toys and etc. For parents are perfect cause you can leave them there, some information paper to sign, just don’t worry they’ve lots of activities for your children; playing, listening, watching, painting, drawing and climbing. We need more time here.

Perfect for young crowd. Lot of activities and parties during the day and night. Pool is beautiful and prices are reasonable. Staff is very helpful and always making sure that you’re all set. However I didn’t know that this is a party hotel so this isn’t really for me but I’m sure if you’re looking to have fun all day long, this is for you.
