We decided to spend a couple of days at Paradise Beach Resort Samui for a quiet family break and were pleased with the overall tranquility. The hotel is tucked away in Maenam, which isn’t overly crowded—exactly what we were hoping for. It sits right by the sea, though during our stay, high tide meant there was barely any sandy shoreline to stroll on. A standout feature was the cooking class they offered. We had a chance to prepare a few Thai dishes, plus a sweet dessert, which turned out to be the most memorable part of the visit. Another perk was the restaurant’s ocean view, perfect for enjoying breakfast while the kids played. If there’s a minor drawback, it’s that the breakfast choices could be a bit more varied. Still, it’s a comfortable spot if you want some peace and a relaxed pace.
