着いたのは19時ごろ。外は雪が降っていたので、外出してご飯は食べたく無かったです。 そしたら旅館で夜ご飯を提供しているとのことだったのでホッケ定食やカキフライ定食をいただきました。 見た目は歴史ある旅館ですが、泊まったお部屋は現代のビジネスホテルでした。

富岡製糸場を見学後、小諸・菱野温泉まで足を伸ばして泊まった。小諸ICを降りて10分ほど山道を走ると大きな旅館が現れる。入り口の大きな桜が満開だがどかもの寂しい。車を入り口に横付けしても誰も出てこない。ロビーにも人っこひとりいない。呼び鈴を押したらやっとレセプションの奥からスタッフが現れた。チェックインを済ませ最上階の洋室に入り、早速目当ての露天風呂へ。本館から小さな登山電車で急斜面を登った先に露天風呂「雲の介の湯」がある。ややぬるめの湯にゆったりと浸かり、八ヶ岳、蓼科、奥秩父、佐久平のパノラマが広がる初春の絶景を独り占めした。風呂まで登る車道も通じていて、日帰り風呂としても利用できるようだ。 夕食は館内食事処の「ふわり家」。料理は「春の山菜会席+信州牛ステーキ 」コース。旬の山菜を使ったメニューはどれもが素材を生かした仕立て美味しかった。 コロナ禍のウイークディとあってか、ホテル内で見かけた客は僕ら以外二組だけ。ホテルのスタッフもごく少人数。三密になりようもないが、ホテル側の経営状況の厳しさが伝わってくるようで、気分は上がらない。

佐久平駅に最も近いビジネスホテルです。ホテル内の清潔感、バスルームを含めた各部屋の狭さ、バスルームの設備がやや古いところは他のビジネスホテルでも多く見られる項目で、それらに慣れていれば特に不愉快と感じることはないでしょう。佐久平駅周辺もいくつか商業施設はあるものの基本的に静かであるため、夜間は特に騒がしさを感じることなく快適に過ごすことが出来ると思います。 一方、部屋数と比較するとエレベーターが一基しかないのは、部屋へ行く、あるいは1階に降りる上で待たされることが多く、少し不便に感じます。エレベーターのかご内も狭く荷物を持っていない状態の人が10人乗れるくらいの広さであるため、大きめのスーツケースを持っている場合、エレベーターに乗れず一層待たされることも少なくありません。 ホテルの周辺は飲食店がいくつかありますが、深夜帯は勿論夜間は閉まっている店が多いです。そのため深夜帯の食事はコンビニ等で調達する必要がありますが、周辺にコンビニが無く、最も近くて徒歩で5分程。悪天候時は食料を調達してからチェックインした方がいいかもしれません。 This is the business hotel to closest Sakudaira Station. The cleanliness of the hotel, the small size of the rooms including the bathrooms, and the rather old bathroom facilities are items that can be found in many other business hotels, and if you are used to them, you will not feel particularly uncomfortable. The area around the Sakudaira station is basically quiet, although there are some commercial facilities, so you will be able to spend a comfortable night without feeling any noise. On the other hand, compared to the number of rooms, having only one elevator would be a bit inconvenient. This is because you often have to wait to get to your room or to get down to the first floor. In addition, the elevator cage is small enough to accommodate 10 people without luggage, so if you have a large suitcase, you may have to wait even longer to get on the elevator. There are some restaurants around the hotel, but many of them are closed at night, not to mention late at night. Therefore, you need to be procured late night meals at convenience stores, but there are no convenience stores in the area. The closest one is about a 5-minute walk away. In bad weather, you might want to get some food before you check in.

Yakushikan is located in Komoro and takes about 20 minute by car from Komoro Station, near Kaikoen and Takamine Kogen. Yukata are available for guests to wear during their stay. Guests may borrow irons and humidifiers at no additional charge (please inquire at the front desk for details). Facilitiy includes a communal bath. The hotel possesses 10 guest rooms.

Located in the historic town of Komoro is an old ryokan rich in history. Adjacent is the historic remains of the Komoro castle (now a nice park with many sakura trees snd a small zoo) which apparently is the only castle in Japan built below the town, taking advantage of the protective cliff surrounding it. Nakadanaso is also on the hillside on the lower end of town and just a few hundred meters from the famous Chikuma River. We stayed on the second floor of the wood structure old wing. While old it was tidy and you can enjoy old Japan. The ryokan's onsen is in a separate building and you'll need to walk up the covered stairs, around 50 steps or so, to get there. Nice indoor and outdoor baths. The foyer dressing area is rather unusual tatami, adding a different and nostalgic touch. The highlight was dinner served in a separate building connected by foot path just 50 feet away. Apparently it was once an old farm house transferred to the present location. The vaulted ceiling looked to be over 30ft high with large beams you would seldom see. The food was amazing! The chef comes from Kyoto and concocts unusual combinations of fksvors and ingredients, yet served traditional kaiseki style using porcelain of various artistic shapes and styles, complementing each dish. His broths were especially outstanding. The 5the generation owner Tomioka-san is a sommelier (loves champagne) and his wife the Okami (hotelier) are also a family of wine grape growers. His son owns/runs a winery nearby called Gio Hills, atop a hill with one of the best panoramic views of Mt Asama and surrounding mountains. The Vietnamese food served at the winery is a recommend. His pinot noirs are outstanding. Chardonnay grown by the family are vielles vignes. His ambition is to make the finest sparking using 100% pinot munier. Komoro is a charming and enchanting town, and a well kept secret.

初めての佐久平に娘と伺いました! リニューアル１年記念に　美味しいカップラーメンを二種類頂きました。　ツインルームで窓も開けられて　部屋も丁度よい広さで　ノンビリ出来ました!　 過去の伊勢原や二本松のレストランおいしかったのに　ついた日の夕食が　ガッカリ　朝食も　補充されないし　過去最低のルートイン佐久平のレストランでした しかたないから、外に夕食頂きに行きました。　スタッフの皆様は良かったのに　レストランがガッカリしました

Housed in a remodeled former sub-lodging in a post town Komorojuku along old Hokkoku road, it is reopening of an inn that remains quaint charm in the first year of Reiwa era.

Situated in a secluded area and surrounded by abundant nature, Karuizawa Mori no Ie Haretara Iine is a family-friendly inn.
