We are having a wonderful time at Vanilla County, I cannot stress how comfortable we have been made as an older couple, the care and excellent service. The views of the hills and the peace are a delight. The food is superb too, truly a 5 star experience

A wonderful estate property and fantastic staff from the owner down. Food was excellent and nothing was too much trouble. When I realised I had given my daughter my wife’s passport, she being 200km away, the staff swung into action and sent a member of staff to swap them back. Above and far beyond… This place is so much more than a home stay. You become part of the place for a few days. Perfect for a quiet getaway as part of your Kerala trip. Some lovely walks around the estate if you’re feeling like a gentle stroll.

had an amzing experience here with my family. i only spend 1 night here but i wished i could stay longer. hospitality of the staff and the owners themselves were amazing to see. its a place which is truly connected to nature. The place has a rich cultural experience of kerala as well be it in the food, rooms, artefacts placed everywhere - which i loved. we had a great time. my 3 year old daughter did not want to leave the place. very calm and peaceful place. truly heaven on earth. they also provide many activities for the stay - cycling, archery, hikiing spots...etc... very easily can spend a week here without getting bored. good place to detox from work and connect with nature ! highly recommended.

We went recently and stayed here for 3 nights. The bungalow has been maintained very well. The staff are extremely caring and go out of their way to make your stay pleasant and worth remembering. Our room was on the 1st floor and turned out to be two rooms joined by a balcony - needless to say that it was very spacious. The facilities have been constantly upgraded at this property. The food is amazing here - if you are not careful, they will serve you enough food for 3 people ! The cuisine ranges from authentic Kerala to western cuisine. Do not miss the desserts - they are amazing. Also, if you like, you can buy the locally made jams and coffees - the jams (specially banana jam) tastes awesome. Definitely recommended for someone who wants a peaceful and relaxed time away from the city.

What an incredibly special place this is! We arrived by Jeep and received the warmest welcome from Matthew and Sillu. They arranged for us to travel by jeep to a beautiful mountain fed pool where we were able to swim surrounded by the most beautiful forest scenery. The rooms are stunning and every detail had been thought of. The food was outstanding for both dinner and breakfast. Definitely up there as some of our best food on the whole trip. We are planning to return in 2025 and stay for a few nights at least- beautiful homestay, wonderful welcome and the most scrumptious food! Thank you for such an amazing stay.

I felt proud about my selection after the 2 nights stay at Vanilla County. We wished to have a couple of days away from busy schedules, noisy roads and polluted surroundings. Vanilla County was the best choice. We could walk thru comparatively untouched soil and water streams. Cool, Calm atmosphere, birds, butterflies, variety of plants and Kannilthulli brought out the kids in us. I will never forget her gorgeous smile in satisfaction when I applied kannilthulli in her eyes. Quality and variety of food served for every meal was exemplary. Some of them brought childhood memories. Hospitality of team Vanilla County, especially Maju and Sojan was really amazing. Response for each of our needs was the Malayalam word "Pinnentha", means "Why not". We wish them good in everything and wish to go back when possible. Anyone who loves nature, we recommend Vanilla County.
