When we arrived at the hotel both myself and my partner were disappointed Firstly we were expecting a room with a view what we actually got was a room overlooking a street with a tramline so you can imagine the noise ! When we spoke with reception she told us yes because we booked through a travel company rather than directly booking with the hotel there was no option for us to be moved unless we were going to pay a further £100 per night for the duration of our stay. On arrival also I noticed that the towels provided had lipstick marks on them( I didn’t mention this to reception ) we just used the other towel expecting a clean set the following day, this wasn’t the case we still had the dirty towel and the one we’d used hadn’t been changed either … When mentioning this to the hotel they did provide clean towels when we returned that evening but the dirty towels remained ( I don’t know if this is the case in Poland I’m not sure what the standard is but our beds weren’t made neatly just pulled over, the bin was emptied daily but no fresh toiletries, toilet roll or towels provided unless we asked for. We also didn’t find the staff friendly no interaction at all !! And trust me when I say I’m not one to complain or make a scene. Good points about the hotel- it was in a good location a little out the way (away from the hustle of the square but a 5 minuet taxi journey into the main square / or a 20 Ish minuet walk along the river to the square. The spa was nice and the massage was fantastic and very reasonable compared to Uk prices. I wouldn’t stay here again :( Expected more Not that we spent anytime in the hotel but I wouldn’t return. ALSO TIP anyone visiting Poland download bolt app ( taxi service ) we got a taxi from airport when we arrived it cost 150 Using a bolt taxi it cost us 40 ( we were 20 ish minuets away from airport ) Defo use the bolt app !!

This is a truly luxurious hotel with huge rooms, comfortable beds, fabulous art work on the walls and outstanding staff. This is the nicest hotel room I have ever had in Europe. The bed was extremely comfortable and the bathtub is large in the very fancy bathroom. The breakfast buffet was good. The bar in the basement is really beautiful and they have a decent wine list. I enjoyed staying here very much. This is everything a five star resort should be

A review based only on a Spa experience. After a previous visit to Hotel Copernicus last year, we decided to return for a Spa day. The hotel is expertly renovated and stunning inside, boasting a modern interior whilst maintaining the charm of the historical building. The lobby is extremely charming. The hotel itself has 29 rooms and is in high demand, and it’s obviously to see why. The location is perfect with the castle just a minutes walk away. The main square is also easily accessible, about 5-8 minutes walk down the Main Street which is bustling with shops, attractions, and museums. Now, about the spa. This is located in the cellar of the hotel and is once again, finished to an extremely high standard. The cellars are accessible via both stairs and an elevator. The spa is not large by any means, and the low vaulted ceilings provide a very cosy and intimate environment. Your first view is a crystal clear-blue pool, which reflects the light across the ceiling and walls creating a mesmerising dance of the light. To the right is a small check-in desk and immediately behind this is a quaint changing area furnished with lockers, a sink area, and shower. The spa is affiliated with L’Occitane and so all the products are branded as such. As expected, these products are top-shelf and smell incredible. In the lockers, bath robes and slippers are provided, and towels are liberally placed around the spa for your convenience. As a male with size 11 feet, I stood no chance squeezing my spade-like feet into the dainty slippers. I asked for a bigger pair and was provided with an identical, one-size-fits-most pair. Needless to say, I was also unable to wear these but I am used to this so bought my own sliders for the occasion. Next, into the relaxation chamber. Two large reclining beds are located here, on the floor. Very comfy and relaxing environment. Many candles (electric imitations) are present and the atmosphere was so calm I lay down and had the most amazing Power Nap. Free water (bottled) is provided. There is also another shower with an assortment of yet more L’Occitane products. A small sauna in the corner was set to 99° Celsius - and certainly felt it. I managed to endure 10 minutes, but would struggle to stay longer due to the heat. The pool itself is relatively small, but the atmosphere is unparalleled. And due to the need to book a treatment to access the spa, was deserted. The pool itself is amazing, and although heated, is at body temperature. The real star of the show was the treatments. My partner and I both booked facial treatments. 60 minutes for approximately £70. Not exactly cheap by Kraków standards, but this was by far the most amazing experience. The smell of lavender and other essential oils was incredible. The masseur was equally brilliant and I left feeling the most relaxed and stress-free I have been in years. Lovely hotel in the perfect location for our needs. Clean, modern room with a spacious bathroom. Situated by the Vistula River which provides ideal walking opportunities. The main bus stop is a 2 minute walk from the hotel and a local supermarket is slightly over 5 minutes away. Will happily stay here again when we next visit Krakow.

I’d say the hotel is average at best. The staff were friendly but the room was really disappointing. Hotel is dated, really could do with a freshen up. It doesn’t look anything like the pictures you see here. Issues with the room we had were: • cracked bathroom floor tiles • trash lying in the room when we checked in, clearly not been cleaned properly • no air con (which is the summer in Krakow was torture) and the best they will supply you with is a mini desk fan • towels are tiny and wafer thin, really poor quality • no tea or coffee facilities • bathroom light is a small lamp above the mirror which doesn’t provide much light • bed was rock solid, only marginally better than sleeping on the floor. Only one pillow per person and it again was poor quality • rooms are not cleaned once you have checked in. The most the cleaner will do is empty the bin I definitely wouldn’t return to the hotel again. It’s fine for location if you are happy to get a taxi everywhere, but it’s no where near anything in terms of walking distance. Disappointing.

My friend and I chose this hotel and we were not disappointed at all! The room was nice and warm, a little old in style but that was okay. Shower was really good, you have shower gel etc supplied in the bathrooms. Room was cleaned everyday and we had no complaints. The hotel has a sauna, which is free but be aware, people go in naked, I felt out of place in my long shorts lol. The food was good and varied, breakfast had a good selection and the coffee was fantastic! We were half board so agreed for a late dinner/supper each night around 7pm. We had 2 great meals and a meal of pierogi on one night, which was a little meh. The hotel is easy to reach from the airport (bus then a tram) and it is also well situated for trams into the town centre, etc. We booked visits to Auschwitz and Birkenau, had to go into the centre to the meeting point. We also had a day in the old town and saw the indoor markets, cathedrals, horse carriages etc. The hotel has a large supermarket nearby, which is cheap and useful. The staff at the hotel are super amazing! I emailed them a lot prior to our stay, to ask about sights, food, sauna etc. They were very friendly and helpful, we were able to check in early and check out late for free! Thank you again!

Good connection with the city center, the tram stop is very close to the hotel, if you need a store, there is a big Kaufland right next to it. The only complaint is the traffic noise in the rooms facing the street. If you are not used to it, it will be a little difficult for you to sleep.

Hotel czysty, pokój ładnie wyposażony. Niestety pobyt średnio udany. Cienkie drzwi i ściany przez co bardzo słychać co się dzieje na korytarzu. O 3 nad ranem obudziła nas grupa młodych ludzi wracających z imprezy. Bardzo hałasowali a w pokoju wszystko było słychać.
