The bathroom floor was incredibly dirty. When I sprayed water on it, grime started coming off. It looked like it had never been scrubbed. The drain was clogged, so water pooled when I showered. The sink was also clogged. Other than the bathroom, the rest of the room was fine. Sahur (pre-dawn meal during Ramadan) was at 4:30 AM, but not all the food was ready. It was quite expensive at RM43 per person for a very limited food selection. Absolutely not worth it. There weren't even eggs. I paid extra for 1 adult and 3 children for sahur, and was asked to pay RM100 in cash but wasn't given a receipt. The receptionist might have been a foreigner because her English didn't sound like Malaysian English. She mumbled and was unclear, making it hard to understand her accent. She also wasn't aware of Ramadan. When I asked what time sahur was for Ramadan, she didn't understand. Valet parking was RM40/day, which was okay. Anyway, this will be my first and last stay at this hotel.

The hotel is situation in the heart of KL. & easy assessed to many KL attractions. The room is quite big and the bed is comfortable. But the toilet is quite old and the cleanliness can still be improved. KL can be viewed from the hotel room.

Had a pleasant stay at Hotel Grand Continental Kuala Lumpur. The location is excellent—close to major attractions and easy to access. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Breakfast was satisfying with a good variety. Overall, I was happy with the service and facilities. The only downside was the noise from nearby construction during the day, which can be a bit disturbing. Other than that, everything was great and I’d still recommend it for a city stay.

The room is pretty average and a bit outdated. However it is kept in good condition. Indian restaurant is just next door.
