Venu en famille pour visiter Kumamoto. Nous avons eu une belle expérience de logement à la japonaise. Nous sommes enchantés par ce ryokan ! Tout le monde est très gentil et accueillant, les repas sont très bon et préparés avec grand soin (Monsieur Tamaki est un très bb cuisinier !) Nous ne parlons pas japonais mais tout a été fait pour nous comprendre. Nous n’avons pas été déçu par ce séjour. Merci pour cette belle expérience !

・全体的には満足していますが、レビューにもある通りメゾネットタイプのため暖房が２階部分のみきいてしまい、１階はとても寒いままでした。エアコンは諦めお部屋に用意いただいていた小さいファンヒーターのみ使っていましたが、エアコンを使うより暖かかったです。（夏はエアコンの効きが悪いとなると扇風機などないと厳しいかもしれません）
・空調より困ったのがシャワーヘッドで、水量などの面であまり使い勝手が良くなかったです。私は滞在途中で少し嫌になってしまったので、近くにある湯らっくすという温泉に行きました。
・長期滞在だったので不便だったのかもしれませんが、食器（紙皿など）は1日1枚のみの用意となるので3食自炊する方は足らないかもしれません。また、ゴミ箱の袋は替えのものが用意されていなかったので、ずっと同じゴミ袋を使っていました。気になる方は近くに100均があるので別途購入した方が良いかもしれません。

家族６人で宿泊するには十分な広さでゆっくりと過ごせました。天井も高く開放感があり、インテリアもおしゃれで子供たちはロフトに喜んでいました。国道３号線からすぐに駐車場に入れるので、場所に迷うということもありませんでした。０時を過ぎてもそれなりに車の交通音がしますが（３号線ってそういうものですよね）私たちは遊び疲れて眠ってしまったので気になりませんでした。

The rooms are cozy and well-designed, offering stunning views that really add to the experience. One of the highlights is the hot spring, which features both indoor and outdoor areas, letting you unwind while enjoying beautiful scenery. There’s also a separate space dedicated to enjoying foot baths, which adds a nice touch to the relaxation.
Conveniently located, the hotel is connected to a department store with a variety of restaurants and shops. Don’t miss the bakery downstairs—their croissants and bread are freshly baked, crispy, and delicious.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely revisit this hidden gem. Highly recommended!

PPengguna TetamuA very nice, modern hotel in the heart of the Kumamoto shopping district - very convenient location, right at the cross section of the two major covered shopping thoroughfares. Check-in only at 3pm and is an automated check-in/check-out system. Staff are very helpful and friendly. At check-in, you are free to choose your amenities from a very wide selection, including bath salts, face cleanser, moisturizer, coffee, green tea, etc. There is a giant tv in the room. No bottled water is provided. The room offers a full robe (short yukata and pants!). The rooms itself are very modern and renovated. There are two Family Marts and a 7-11 within a block of the hotel, as well as many dining and retail options within short walking distance. It is about a 15 minute walk to Kumamoto Castle and a 30 minute walk to Kumamoto Station.

QQ. Yong ShengDidn’t took any photos of the hotel as I felt that most of the other guest would have done so. However I wish to update new travellers about what to expect when staying in this hotel, you will get to see a tower parking just beside the hotel, that parking is sort of affiliated to the hotel hence you can park there and pay just a fixed rate. At my time of stay at Nov2024 period it was about 1200JPY per 24hours. You can park anytime and take the car out anytime to drive out based on what we have experienced. There are lots of food places nearby
Take note that you are in the heart of Kumamoto city and when checking out and driving out of the city, our issue was there were too many cars and the Google maps is not responding well perhaps due to the tall buildings. Took a long way out before we reached the Kyushu highway. Hence do familiar yourself with the routes when leaving.
Hotel is great! I been a fan of candeo hotels, love the fact that we can go to the onsen late at night too

Exigences de chambre parfaitement respectées. Absence de parking dans l’hôtel . Les parkings situés en face sont hors de prix, mais la réception a des accords avec un partenaire situé un peu plus loin pour 1200 yens les 24 heures. A négocier avant séjour ou sur place. Je remercie les 2 personnes qui ont essayé de résoudre une demande de réservation de ferry, que je ne pouvais effectuer seul sur deux websites complètement en japonais.

GGrandTour43661427753This hotel is located within a short walking distance from the Kumamoto station. From the JR bstation exit it is on the left, just beside the Bic Camera store next. There is also a streetcar/tram stop so near the hotel which you can use to explore the city touristy spots! Shopping is convenient as the Kumamoto AMU Plaza (see another Review) is 5-mins walk away. The lobby is quite spacious and I quite like the intimate setting and lighting. Check-in was fast and 3 lifts serve well with travellers + luggages. The room design is quite standard and we have requested for x2 single bed, the room size is respectable. Noted that they're still using the physical hard key and not the keycard type. Hottel provided some amenities and complimentary bottled water in the room, sufficient for us . The Hotel is very into Going Green, there will be no housekeeping within first 3-days unless requested upon. This may likely be the model moving forward, to cut wastages. We had our breakfast at the nearby Pronto. The Kitaoka Shrine is just about 400 metres nearby, opposite direction of JR station so we recommend to drop by if time permits. A good stay experience. J

PPengguna TetamuI honestly do not know where to start, I booked the hotel without really knowing much about Kumamoto Prefecture. After arriving in Kumamoto City and then realising Ueki Onsen is another 40 minute bus ride I was thinking oh dear where am I staying. After arriving at the hotel I was greeted by the manager of the hotel who showed me to my room and gave me a tour of the facilities. Once settled in I realised there isn't great public transport around and I primarily wanted to see Beppu and Yufuin during my stay, I enquired with the manager on where I might be able to rent a car, with little to no Japanese language under my belt he took it upon himself to reserve a vehicle for me and offered to drive me himself to collect it. He then also said he would take me back to return it a few days later. After my trips to Beppu and Yufui village (Not to be missed) and not to miss the outstanding and beautiful surroundings in Uekimachi and the Aso region. The manager and I set off to return my hire car, on the way back he took me to Kikuchi shrine to pray and also gifted me coffee and cake. They also accommodated me with use of the on site onsen (amazing) after hours as I'm heavily tattooed. I feel truly grateful to have found this hidden gem of rural Japan and if you are thinking of traveling this great country I emplore you to go off the beaten path. I experienced untold kindness during my stay and have memories of a life time. Thank you so much guys

DDreamer02234323206We took Highway Bus (2.5hr) from Fukuoka Airport to Kumamoto Sakuramachi Bus Terminal. Koko Hotel is directly connected to the bus terminal. Hotel was opened in June 2022 and there were now clear signages to Koko Hotel as we alighted from the bus. We took escalator to the 2F and take the lift to the 14F where the Hotel lobby is. From the lobby, we get a clear view of Kumamoto Castle. Our Superior Twin Room is very spacious and comfortable. We paid Y32,310 for 2 nights. It is 10 mins walk to the Castle, and 10 mins taxi ride to Kumamoto Station. Amu Plaza next to Kumamoto Station has plenty of eateries. Sakuramachi has Family Mart, restaurants and shops.

PPengguna Tanpa NamaHotel environment is dark themed and calm, however during our time there, hotel was probably full house and the hk tour groups were so loud and rowdy, the service staff werent able to get them to lower their voices and commotion in the front desk nor at breakfast too. It was otherwise a very clean, and efficiently laid out room, good hotel option and at a convenient location too.

PPengguna Tetamu구마모토역 바로 앞이라 기차를 타고 다른 도시로의 이동뿐아니라 시내의 이동에도 무척 편리했습니다. 또한, 역 바로 옆에 쇼핑센터, 마트, 식당 등이 있어 생활수품과 음료수를 사거나 식사를 하는데 불편이 없었습니다. 호텔 시설들 또한 깨끗하고 종업원들도 무척 친절했습니다. 호텔의 식당은 넓고 깨끗하고 큰 통유리창이 있어 무척 밝았으며, 떠오르는 아침 해를 바라보며 상쾌한 기분으로 식사를 할 수 있었습니다. 식사 메뉴는 뷔페식이었는데 화려하지는 않았지만, 있을 것은 다 있는 그런대로 괜찮았습니다. 조금 아쉬웠던 부분은 욕실 공간이 너무 좁다는 것입니다.
