Great value for what we have paid for. Efficient check-in process. High quality public bath facilities with two hot hot springs (one indoor and one outdoor), one sauna and one cold water pool. Although this hotel is listed as a 3-star hotel, we would say it is much better than many 4-star hotels in many regards. The employees at the check-in desk speak decent English too.

Great Location and nice staffs are covering the old fashioned facilities which had been 60 years since its establishment. I love all of this hotel including the breakfast. Japanese style breakfast is recommended. Thank you all staffs who supported me during my stay.

현대적이기보다는 일본 전통적인 숙소에서 하루잘쉬고 왔습니다. 장점 : 숙소의 위치가 아주좋아요. 구마모토성까지 걸어서 관광할수있고 쇼핑거리의 한가운데에 있을정도로 걸어서 거의 모든걸 할수있었어요. 숙소에 딸린 대욕탕에서 피로를 풀수도 있었고 아침식사도 맛있게 잘먹었습니다. 호텔스텦의 접객은 아주친절했고 전문성이 묻어있었어요. 단점 : 호텔이 살짝 나이듬이 느껴졌어요.~^^

Perfect location. Next to the bus terminal. Close to the business district so have good access to food and shipping. But parking fee is a bit expensive. It was said to be 1000 Yen but I was charged 1100 and 1400 Yen respectively.

Please aware if you decide to park at Nikko, they offer parking at 13:30-next day 1130 , unlimited access for 1500 yen. We didn't know that, and we got into the parking at. 1315, the hotel reception told us that we need to pay extra hour because of it. When we checked out, they told us they waived the extra hour fee cause they should have informed us. Hotel is decent, clean n in good location. Service is well and staff are very helpful.

Hotel is 5 tram stops away from Kumamoto station, red line. Shopping street is conveniently located, just a few minutes walk away, with many stores and eateries..There was a big Christmas market just in front of the shopping street. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and have all amenities needed. They have coin operated washer cum dryer on 3rd floor, 600 yen. Nice hotel for a short stay.

Location is great. There are many restaurants and bar after two blocks behind the hotel. One thing is that there is no parking lot for our car and we have to follow the map provided by the staff. There are three parking lots suggested but the one with discount seems a bit difficult to find. There is no bar at the hotel for guest to enjoy during the stay. The room is a bit small but that is fine for one night stay.

There’s also a separate space dedicated to enjoying foot baths, which adds a nice touch to the relaxation. Conveniently located, the hotel is connected to a department store with a variety of restaurants and shops. Don’t miss the bakery downstairs—their croissants and bread are freshly baked, crispy, and delicious. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely revisit this hidden gem. Highly recommended!
