Resort Amanzi

Sharing both pros & cons of my experience: Pros 1. Very accommodative to make baby food 2. Excellent food 3. Great service by Akash & team at the meals area 4. Good view from owners suite bed 5. Great room size (no tv which was good) Cons 1. Would have been good to be informed while booking that there was construction happening right outside the gazebo at the very very expensive owners suite (90k for 2 nights for 3 people) 2. Construction noise started at 8am and that part of the view was just construction & workers instead of serene Mountain View which defeats the purpose of leaving mumbai and going for a quiet calm pretty getaway 3. Meal timings are fixed - quite late for early risers early sleepers, but they did get selected food to the room early 4. Pool was freezing cold so couldn’t enjoy it much, temperature controlled would have been fantastic 5. AC was too loud in owners suite 6. Location is too inside, not easy to get to 7. Not much to do at the resort - only board games and spa available 8. Booking experience not great - tone of staff was not caring 9. No landline in room, have to keep mobile on to call room service and housekeeping 10. Massive Smoke at night from next plot

My family and I had a wholesome experience at the Glass treehouse at Amanzi resort. We felt that one day at the property was sufficient to feel refreshed and get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Here is a list of things that I liked and things that could be better. Things I enjoyed: - the glass treehouse villa was very spacious with a lot of different areas to sit, chat and enjoy the Pawna lake views. - The pool in the villa was an absolute delight and we were able to enjoy family pool time in privacy. - The staff delivered board games to our room and we were able to enjoy a game of Carom in the common area. - Rintu served us at all meals and he was very hospitable. - Room service was very quick. Things that could have been better (for a hotel of this nature and the price paid): - the food options were very basic. More options can be introduced. - Room amenities were also pretty basic. - Since the resort is in an isolated area, there were insects / ants in the terrace area and inside the pool but the staff quickly took care of it with sprays and pool net. - My biggest issue was the road to get to the hotel from Mumbai, and the Mumbai traffic did not make the journey any easier. But that’s not a reflection of the experience on the property. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and a good getaway to it the family. Come here if you would like to rejuvenate your senses for a couple of nights.

The location is awesome, the staff extremely helpful and at your service, food was good and fresh the instructions from management before arrival, route to follow was to the T. Apt for a relaxing holiday with family and friends. Things to improve - Senior citizen need help to walk around so holding rails / bars and less of cobbled stone pathways will help with their better mobility. Authentic dishes from the region can be added. Found pricing to be steep.

Amanzi is a great place. The staff is very warm and they go the extra mile to make your stay special. Nothing much to do on the actual property, apart from chilling and soaking in the great views But there are 2 forts nearby (15 min and 30 min drive) and a great Boat club nearby - where you can have some nice adventures.

The new owners suite is simply brilliant. Never seen interiors and decore like this. Total value for money with lot of activites . The Food is soo delicious and the service is from the heart. Would highly recommend and will visit soon .. again

I can only say, its awesome awesome awesome. Right from Stay to ambience to Food, to Staff... everything was just great... If you are looking for peace of mind, this place is very very very good to go... Detox without a TV and Wifi and destress your self with nature Food is amazing with lot of Veg and Non Veg Options, Basket Ball Court is very well maintained, Swimming pool is clean and the Resort is very well kept Cant wait to go once again... Great Experience Team Amanzi.
