After a search lasting months, it was clear that my first ever trip to Kuwait would be at Ramada Encore by Wyndham Kuwait, where price and encouragement to book were concerned. Whilst the Hotel does not offer views of the Kuwait Towers, a short stroll left of the entrance, into the carpark and you may see Kuwait's Global Icon in all it's glory. The rooms are smart,clean and comfortable but be warned that the hotel offers smoking rooms. Please ensure you are aware of this. The Breakfast Buffet was very delicious and filling. The Staff are all lovely and friendly namely Mostafa,Gunneswaran,Mofeed,Jovelyn,Natalio,Wilmalyn,Rich Ann, Prateek,Arvic. Located in the financial district of Sharq, the views from the room include the massive Skyscrapers Al Hamra and NBK's Headquarters. The hotel has superfast WiFi, pleasant free toiletries and a team dedicated to making your stay great. I was fortunate to meet the owner Mr Fahad who made me feel very welcome. From Kuwait International, the hotel is a 15 minute drive by private car or Careem Taxi. The location itself is around the same distance/time from key attractions including the luxurious Avenues Mall. There is a small convenience store directly behind the hotel but note it is cash only. The Talabat (food delivery app) Driver on two occasions seemed to get the location wrong and ended up at the Swiss Bellin behind the hotel, so please ensure you are clear about your location. The Talabat Drivers do bring the food order direct to your room or leave it at reception for the hotel staff to bring upstairs. The Reception Staff don't seem to have a standard uniform but this does not deflect the great service and a public computer is in the lobby along with printing facilities. Free newspapers, in room tea/coffee/water bottles and a delightful rooftop bar ( non alcoholic in line with Kuwait being alcohol free ) complete the line up of features.

I could not be happier anywhere else, from great location to the cleanliness and hygiene that are very important, in room, washrooms, places I dine. This hotel takes care of it's guests and make them feel at home. Food is super clean and tasty. Special thanks to Mr. Sameh Sekkina and his team. They make huge difference. I highly recommend this hotel, consistently outstanding, exceeding guests expectations.

It’s my best experience at an ibis hotel. From the kindness of the staff to the hotel facilities, which were impeccable. I congratulate the reception staff, especially Mr. Mahmoud, who, from the moment he received me, treated me with great kindness and he was ready to help with whatever I needed. Congratulations for all! I do recommend Ibis Sharq in Kuwait!

Late review, but well deserved to a very nice hotel, I stayed at Al Hamra hotel for 3 months as a part of a 3 months business contract The place felt like home, staff is extra nice and helpful , the challenges of delivering a good hospitality services during Covid lockdown were exceedingly met, everyone had a face mask, sanitizers are all over the place, meals were delivered to rooms in boxes on time Limousine service led by Mr Mohamed khalaf is the best you can every find Room service was spectacular

Overall a great stay. The room was a good size, clean and with a small view of the water. TV has youtube and netflix loaded on it which was a nice perk. Good tea selection in the room and the staff were very accommodating and helpful. The pool is locked for the winter. There is a beautiful park close by which is great for relaxing and also it is walkable distance to the beach.

Very good location, 20 min far from the Towers and 10 from Cornice. We stay there 5 days. Breakfast was very good and the staff helpful and kindly with a special mention for Mr Santosh, Mr Rafat and the Manager. Wifi very strong as well as the cleaness of our room n° 1405. Bus stop is 50 meters far and the bus 51 will bring you to city center. Kuwait City is not a touristic place, so you'll not find shops for tourist and no maps. Remember that Red Fort is closed on friday morning, it'll open in the afternoon at 4 p.m.

I’ve been going to hotels in kuwait for 10 years and never faced this! 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗢𝗠𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗗!! Excellent location and hotel. Beautifully decorated with a luxury vibe. The staff are fantastic. Furniture comfy and grand. Rooms are classy and modern with a taste of antique classic style. The bed is comfy and pillows too. Towels great size and great cotton weave. Again the bedding is all cotton too. This makes for a comfy stay in the room. The hotel has a great sea view, make sure you get that so you can see the daily sunsets over the Kuwait bay. You can see stars too from the bed. The hotel has everything you need with a wise staff that facilitate tours if needed and drives/pick up’s. Be sure to build a relationship with them all, they are superb! Remember to tip as with any and all places, it is much appreciated. The food at the hotel is great too, although ring Ramadan the restaurant was closed; they did room service and will soon after the end of Ramadan open the breakfast buffet which I think will be great, good price- 2 dinar. All in all, this place is in a safe and beautiful location.
