it clean, bright for both the , room and toilet. the room was small but feel very comfortable. they have private female use toilet located onnthe 3rd floor. it safe as u near room card to access to the lift and toilet. it location is great with branded shopping and near to the nishik market. can find vegetarian/vegan restaurant around the hotel

Pros: good common area with microwave and kettle, clean bathrooms, good location. Cons: - the sheets in the bedroom are NOT FITTED, so they come off during the night and you have to remake your bed every day. It’s a nightmare. Also very unhygienic as everyone who stays on those mattresses are basically sleeping without sheets. - if you’re a couple, you can’t sleep next to each other. In the Hollywood room, there are two separate mattresses next to each other so they are always separating during the night, leading to someone falling between the crack onto cold, hard wood. - they randomly decided to clean the bathrooms on our floor at 10am one morning (this was not advertised), so they were totally out of use. They also randomly decided to clean all of the bottom floor at 7pm one evening so the kettle and microwave was out of use (prime time for when people want to eat!!!). - the laundry service is chargeable. 500 yen for a wash and dry but the drier doesn’t work well, so you have to pay an extra 100 yen to dry it again. - the luggage storage only has locks on one side, so we couldn’t secure our bags on our check out day. - checking in was difficult and the machine didn’t work. Would only recommend staying here if you’re on a serious budget. Even then it’s not THAT cheap.

Very convenient location, the hotel service is super excellent. Prepare a lot of guidance (tourist spot or food spot) for tourist. Room is clean and facility all good.

Really enjoyed my stay here. The rooms are small but the location and area downstairs to socialise makes up for it! We really enjoyed the amenities and the shower area was always kept clean and well stocked. I would recommend this hotel to any one coming to Kyoto on a budget.

Room was not very spacious. But staff were nice and had free luggage storage. Toilet was clean and pleasant

Quite satisfied and great location for the price! Location is great and almost walkable to major parts of central Kyoto. For example Nishiki Market 1 minute (but overpriced), Karasuma and shopping streets 1 minute, Hankyu train line for going Osaka or other places just 6 minute, Big local shopping malls like Fresco and LIFE or Takashimaya store just 10 minute. Moreover it is within walking distance to Gion area and Panchoto alley and river. Although the room is small, is convenient and bed was quite tall that myself as Big Caucasian 180+cm had no issue in size of bed. Shower and toilet also very clean and have all amenities included. Also the lobby is good to mingle or eat food as there is microwave available. The luggage can be kept free-of-charge after checkout if have Suica. Breakfast is a bit simple and at Datour. not bad, but maybe can take without breakfast for more flexibility.

Bathroom so clean and bright. Cool common seating area. They even provide you a roomwear which I wish I knew in advance so I didnt have to bring mine from home :)

The hotel is located in the heart of Kyoto. Convenient location. All you have to do is go down to the ground floor to take a shower, but overall it's good. I will give my rating of 9.7 out of 10 points to this Hotel.

This place was just incredible! Can absolutely find no faults whatsoever. The staff were very lovely, the room was extremely clean, the facilities were amazing, the bed was very comfortable, and you couldn’t hear the other people on your floor. Very close to the market and lots of shops and restaurants, also very easy to access public transport for sightseeing. Will absolutely be staying here again!

Very clean, modern and great location. The custom guide booklets in the lounge are a nice addition

Room is comfortable and cosy. Hotel has easy to use luggage storage facility and provides room wear so you can wash all your dirty laundry with their washing machine.
