I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel Hokke Club Kyoto. Upon check-in, I was delighted by a thoughtful perk: every guest gets to choose two small gifts from a selection that included moisturizing masks, hair bands, lotions, bath salts, and more. This added a nice personal touch to the experience. I booked a small double room for under $80 USD, which, while not cheap, is relatively affordable for Kyoto. The room was compact but well-designed, offering enough space to comfortably access the bed from both the side and bottom. The bathroom, though small, was functional, featuring a bidet (common in Japan), a deep but short bathtub, and plenty of amenities. The hotel also provided pajamas, slippers, a hot water kettle, tea, glass cups, and reliable Wi-Fi, making the stay even more convenient. The room had windows that could be opened or closed for ventilation, and both the AC and hot water worked flawlessly, ensuring a comfortable environment. While breakfast was available, I opted not to try it due to its price of around ¥1600 and my past experiences with underwhelming hotel breakfasts. The only downside was the early 10 AM checkout time, which led to a bit of a rush for the elevator in the morning. However, this was a minor inconvenience compared to the overall quality of the stay. For travelers seeking a comfortable and budget-friendly option in Kyoto with thoughtful amenities, I highly recommend Hotel Hokke Club Kyoto.

The staff were very polite and friendly. The location is right across from Kyoto Station, making it extremely convenient.

Prime location in Kyoto, right across from Kyoto station , next to Kyoto Tower, located the hotel right when I came out of Kyoto station. Room were a bit crowded, luckly I only had a backpack with me for the night, there was no space for even a medium luggage to be opened in the room besides the bed. The room for me had a window, but it was blocked off .

Location: Just across the road from Kyoto station and bus interchange. Attractions: Easy to access by bus and/or trains from Kyoto station.

I had the pleasure of staying at Hokke Club Kyoto, and I must say it was a fantastic experience. The hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Kyoto, making it easy to explore the city’s historical sites, shopping areas, and restaurants. It’s just a short walk from Kyoto Station, which is incredibly convenient for both local transportation and travel to other parts of Japan.

The service is good, the staff is friendly and the location is very strategic because it is near Kyoto station.🤏🤏

Only good thing was the location. Other than that, its service was poor, room was so small. No cleaning given. It’s just a very basic hotel but charged a lot. I won’t stay again

The hotel is conveniently located about 2 minutes walking distance from the train station. The rooms are clean and comfortable.

Good location, close to Kyoto station. Room size is suitable for 2 people with a big luggage. Reception is so nice. We can leave luggage before check-in time and after check-out.

3 women including myself stayed in this hotel over a weekend. Our experience was very positive. I called the hotel in the morning of our stay to ask about the barrier free condition as my mother has a problem. They offered a room friendly to a handicapped person to accommodate her needs. The room was very clean, roomy, and comfortable. The breakfast was a buffet style with a lot of selections, mostly, tasty Japanese food, which was not at all a problem for us(They also had some western food). Thank you very much for helping our trip even better!

Very great location, near to station, great stay, room a bit small but it’s common for Japan hotel. Overall was good ! Not too bad. If u need a hotel that near to hotel n ease to reach especially carry heavy luggage, this is a very good option to look into
