Отель классный, достаточно просторная комната, есть всё необходимое. Мы брали футоны и нам понравилось, спать было комфортно. Хоть в отеле нет лифта, но персонал любезно помог нам донести чемоданы до нашего этажа. Также за доп плату в отеле есть завтрак (японский или европейский на выбор), было вкусно, нам понравилось. Месторасположение хорошее, мы ходили пешком до Гиона, также рядом есть красивые храмы, которые тоже можно посетить. Около отеля есть магазины, где можно закупиться едой, всё в пешей доступности.

Хороший отель в японском стиле. Я бронировала улучшенный номер с собственным садом - рекомендую. Номер просторный, очень чисто. Хорошая звукоизоляция. Местоположение отличное, до центра города 15-20 минут прогулочным шагом, около отеля много классных кафе и ресторанов (в т.ч мишленовский ресторан), магазины. Так же около отеля 2 станции метро.

Very beautiful hotel, it’s located at heart of old city, you can feel Japan there walking around the hotel! Can walk to many good places or take free shuttle bus (leaving every hour at h:55 min) to Kyoto station for visit even more good places.
Incredible breakfast restaurant!!!
Bad side is there is no big bowl or cups for make some iced coffee or pour a cap of hot drip coffee neither (how I suppose to make my coffee in the room?) even they gift it for free every day, also there is no microwave.

優點：房間很大。很新很乾凈，房間裏打掃一塵不染，洗護用品提供齊全，有身體乳、卸粧凝露、洗面奶、爽膚水和保濕霜套裝，刮鬍刀是四刀片的。酒店前台服務熱情，進出都打招呼，幫忙叫車拿放行李。豪華房有陽台，且陽台很大，雖然沒有什麼風景，但是可以交換新鮮空氣，同時也很安靜。房間保温很好，晚上可以不用開空調，避免乾燥。minibar飲料免費，每天水都充足。對面就是fresco大超市，出門右手邊步行一會兒有郵局、洗衣房（這個更近）便利店，左手邊有飯店、加油站、洗衣房。酒店禁止12歲以下入住，所以很安靜。周邊岡崎神社、光明寺、京都大學、****都是步行可達。
缺點：放行李的地方太小了，基本上放不了，我最小一個行李rimowa26寸都放不進去，更別提另外兩個大行李了，還在房間足夠大。因為那個行李架一旦放了行李，移門就會無法打開衣櫃，這個屬於設計缺陷。被很多人詬病的早餐我特意幾種都嘗試了，家人選的日式，他覺得還ok，主食就是玉子燒。我選的美式就是最正常的培根肉腸雞蛋，味道可以的，水果很甜（我覺得正常選這個至少不會踩雷，也可以吃飽）第二天我加1600換班尼迪，被很多人讚譽的班尼迪我反而覺得很一般，下面鋪的是煙燻三文魚，如果你喜歡吃煙薰三文魚估計會覺得早餐不錯，但我不喜歡。我能夠理解酒店因為整體規模不大，所以早餐不可能太過豐盛，也不可能做自助，否則食物放太久會變質。但是小而精緻的高級酒店我在其他國家也住過，其實可以半自助形式，水果麪包飲料可以自助區拿，主食order就可以，估計是成本控制原因，酒店不願意如此。最重要的是早餐的果汁只有2種選擇，連牛奶都沒有，衹可以在咖啡和紅茶之間選，雖然酒店規定12以下不可入住，但是12-18的青少年喝咖啡和紅茶也不合適吧？至少應該有牛奶這個選項。且早高峯客人用餐人數多時，我們坐進去很久才來waiter，體感不太好。總結：早餐確實不出色，但是及格。造成此原因的不是早餐本身，而是酒店自己對這唯一一家餐廳的定位，因為要做成法餐餐廳，所以廚師長的思路必定如此。其實裝修成日式庭院的酒店更應該做成日式餐廳，而不是走法餐路線，隔壁酒店樓下的日式餐廳做得就不錯。

老牌酒店，旁邊是兔子神社，對面有個24小時超市，開始時不知道，到處找吃的。離永觀堂南禪寺倒是挺進的，但是過了飯點基本就沒啥吃的了。酒店房間比一般的大，但設施確實老舊，定了個吸煙房，沒給我薰死，煙味也太大了……睡覺時空調的聲音，冰箱製冷的聲音太大了，吵的睡不着。有個公共浴池，只有一個池子，放鬆一下蠻好。綜合考慮設施和位置，應該不會再住了

Good location, near family mart and convenience store also train stations about 5 min. Walk.
The room is clean and very spacious with great amenities, there is also a smoking and laundry room.
Self check in and out, usually there is no staff at the front desk, you can call them thru their landline.

Very convienantly located with many shops around the hotel. The taxi stand and bus-stops are also right outside the hotel.
Hotel staff are very helpful assisting me to find a clinic that is open on a saturaday afternoon cause my daughter injured her eye cornear. Didn't get to note down the young lady's name who assisted me but would like to thank her for extending her help to us.
Tioletry amenities and bathrobe were provided at the lobby.
Overall a nice stay at the hotel and will consider this hotel in my next trip back.

Excellently located, right in the city centre. Loved the little walk to the entrance of the hotel which was very inviting.
However, hotel has an environmental policy which means they don’t clean your room. Resulted in the room being dusty and we struggled to have a good nights sleep. But they had great service recovery and cleaned immediately the next day and all was well. Might not be ideal for everyone.
Would stay again.

LLi Ing Sheryl LeeWe like how the check in was done through an automated system which was easy to use. A staff is nearby to help if help is ever needed. The hotel also offer amenities in the lobby for guests to self-help which even include facial products like make-up remover and masks. The hotel room was clean and beds were comfortable. The pillows provided are of 2 intensities - hard and soft so that guests can choose to use whichever work for them. Sufficient space in the hotel room. The service staff are always smiling and pleasant to talk to. When I called the front desk to check if I could borrow their travel adaptor and I offered to go down to collect from them. The front desk helped to deliver it up to my room in less than 5min. I really appreciate their effort. All in all, this hotel is very efficient and we enjoyed our stay.

CCarolinHotel was super nice! I loved almost everything.
The room was very big for Japanese standards and the staff was very professional and fluent in English.
Location couldn’t be better, right next to Kyoto Station and a lot of options for shopping and dining.
The only thing that was disappointing was the breakfast. They divide it in a western and japanese breakfast. But the western breakfast didn’t really have much western choices. And the coffee was not good. This could be improved.
Otherwise it was a perfect stay and I would recommend it. :-)

독독락당The Pocket Hotel offers a no-frills experience at a reasonable price. The room is just large enough to accomodate the futon you are given to sleep on and a little more. For people who need a bed to sleep, I definitely would not recommend this location. That said, I would say the room has everything on might need for a good night's sleep. The air conditioner is perfectly functional, a necessity in Kyoto's sweltering summers. Additionally, the limited space definitely means that accomodating guests with gargantuan suitcases is probably not possible. The washroom, while well furnished and perfectly serviceable, is public and located outside of one's room and is accessed by the same key card as the one used for one's room. In addition, the shower, located on the first floor for men and second for women, is also public use and accessed in the same way as the washroom. That said, the showers are split into individual rooms, so I would suggest one is offered more than sufficient privacy despite its public nature. If these minor inconveniences are unacceptable for you, this hotel is not the right one for you. As for the hotel's location, the hotel is fairly well positioned to go see Kiyomizudera and is a short walk from the subway. In addition, there are a number of great restaurants in the vicinity. In particular, there is a great abundance of ramen restaurants so it could be decent location to stop by to sample a number of different bowls. Between Daikoku Ramen, Ramen Rin, Ramen Yokozuna, Ginjo Ramen Kubota, and New Taihou, I enjoyed my daily dose of noodles for sure. It is also worth noting that there is a convenience store across the street and a pharmacy a little down the street. The pharmacy is a great place to pick up 2L bottles of drinks, but be warned that they might not be refrigerated. It's also worth noting that there is a Yoshinoya, McDonald's, and Yayoi Ken nearby so if you ever feel the need for a quick meal, it can easily me solved at a moment's notice. Overall, I would say this hotel is not one to stay at for the hotel experience, but rather as an option simply have a place to rest with proper privacy.

Terletak di sepanjang jalan yang meriah yang dihiasi dengan restoran daging lembu yang lazat dan bersebelahan dengan kedai ubat 24 jam yang menawarkan harga yang kompetitif untuk kosmetik dan ubat-ubatan, lokasi hotel menjanjikan kemudahan dan menyelami budaya tempatan.
Sebuah penubuhan yang agak baru, Ala Hotel Kyoto menawarkan salah satu onsen luar terbaik yang pernah saya temui dalam perjalanan saya. Terletak di tingkat 10, onsen ini disertai dengan ruang istirahat zen yang tenang, sesuai untuk berehat selepas berendam atau menunggu penyiapan pakaian. Walaupun perkhidmatan dobi adalah percuma, tetamu harus ambil perhatian bahawa detergen tidak disediakan.
Walaupun makanan ringan percuma tidak ada, kemudahan onsen yang luas dan suasana tenang mengimbangi pengawasan tersebut. Walau bagaimanapun, perlu dinyatakan bahawa waktu operasi onsen adalah agak terhad, ditutup pada pukul 11 malam setiap malam, dengan hanya dua pengering rambut tersedia.
Apabila memasuki bilik, saya terkejut dengan keluasannya—cukup untuk memuatkan tiga bagasi dengan selesa. Kemuncaknya, sudah pasti, adalah tab mandi yang memberikan pemandangan persekitaran hotel yang menakjubkan, sesuai untuk berendam dalam keindahan matahari terbit atau terbenam.

Katil memancarkan keselesaan, manakala penambahan sofa berhampiran pintu masuk menyediakan tempat yang selesa untuk berehat tanpa mengotorkan peralatan tempat tidur dengan pakaian luar.
Secara keseluruhannya, walaupun Ala Hotel Kyoto mungkin kekurangan kemudahan tertentu, penginapannya yang luas, lokasi yang strategik dan harga yang berpatutan menjadikannya pilihan yang menonjol untuk pelancong yang mencari ketenangan dan kemudahan dalam ukuran yang sama.

also convenient to go to sightseeing places by bus( around 5min walk)

PPengguna TetamuThis hotel has wonderful costumer services and the employees speak many languages. Right up the street there is a 7/11 store for all your snack run, there are cafe and restaurant within walking distance. The Karasuma-Oike station is literally 3-5 minutes walk. The best part is the traveler’s store that is about a 10 min walk. I been wanting to go there and finally got to visit it. This store has stationary items such as notebooks that can have you record your journey.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at your hotel, and I would like to share my experience with you. First and foremost, I want to express my gratitude for the exceptional design and comfort your property offers. Kengo Kuma’s architectural brilliance, with its use of natural wood, thoughtful lighting, and integration of art pieces, creates a stunning and serene atmosphere. Additionally, the comfort of the rooms, the quality of the materials, the size of the beds, and the premium linens were truly impressive. In terms of design and comfort, your hotel sets a remarkable standard.
However, I did encounter several service-related issues that I believe could be addressed to enhance the overall guest experience. I would like to share these points in the hope that they are helpful for future improvements:
1. Breakfast Lounge and Sushi Area: The proximity of these two areas creates a strong odor upon entering, which can be unpleasant. Improved ventilation could easily mitigate this issue.
2. Food and Beverage Service After Breakfast: The lack of food and beverage service after breakfast hours was inconvenient. At the very least, providing a space for guests to enjoy tea or coffee would be a welcome addition.
3. Room Service Availability: After a long journey, I was surprised to learn that room service was unavailable and that only rice balls could be provided. Expanding room service options would greatly improve the guest experience.
4. Flexibility with Breakfast Hours: Due to the time difference, I arrived slightly late for breakfast at 10:10 AM and was informed that nothing could be served. Even my request for tea did not receive a clear response. Greater flexibility in accommodating guests dealing with jet lag would be highly appreciated.
5. Lobby Services: The inability to offer anything to drink or even host a guest in the lobby felt restrictive. This could be improved to make the lobby a more welcoming space.
6. Spa Experience: I was unable to experience the renowned Banyan Tree spa as it was fully booked. Expanding spa reservation availability would help meet guest expectations for this signature offering.
In summary, while the hotel excels in design and comfort, the service offerings seem to be constrained by rigid rules and limited hours, which can detract from the overall guest experience. I strongly believe that adopting a more flexible, guest-centered approach would significantly enhance satisfaction.
If the above issues were addressed, I would certainly consider staying at your hotel again during my next visit to Kyoto. Once again, I want to thank you for the exceptional design and comfort provided during my stay and hope that these suggestions contribute to further elevating your standards.
