Stayed 3 nights in February and asked for quiet room - 3rd floor at rear of hotel very quiet and slept with window open without problem. Breakfast adequate, room clean and modern with towels changed daily. quality and desk only staffed at certain times but can book in at Kyriad next door. Will stay again next week.

Il fût dommage que le règlement me soit refusé en liquide vu la somme et même en découpent les nuitées, petits déjeuners et le parking. À revoir de ce côté là surtout que c'est le premier établissement du groupe qui me l'a refusé jusqu'à présent, je règle toujours en liquide et même jusqu'à 2 semaines et je n'ai jamais eu de problème, il y a toujours eu un arrangement. De plus il faudrait revoir le fonctionnement de la climatisation dans les chambres, celle-ci ne fonctionne pas correctement, il fait beaucoup plus que la température demandée.

Kyriad is a fairly new hotel chain, until recently represented only in France. The price is higher than F1, where I usually settle, but closer to the center. Since I booked shortly before the trip, there were no cheap options, so we ended up here. Moreover, I have already stayed at Kyriad before. In addition to a good location, it should be noted a comfortable room with a classic design in muted tones, a TV, a spacious bathroom. There really is no refrigerator, if anyone cares. There is a vending machine with drinks and snacks downstairs.

Modern hotel in a district close to the old city/Port area and shops, cafes and restaurants. These are all about 10-15 minutes away by foot. Modern, well-equipped rooms with free wifi, fridge, A/C, Tea and Coffee making facilities. We took the lite breakfast in the bar area which came with juice, coffee, pastries and 1 fruit each at a reasonable price. It is worth noting that Sundays and Mondays in France can be a challenge to find places open (cafes, restaurants, shops and museums) The hotel has its own underground car park. It's not huge but great in hot weather. Note the entrance slope is tight but manageable. If you need this I'd recommend booking in advance, there is a charge. For those traveling by train the main ”Gare” is just at the end of the road. BTW we can recommend the Aquarium, situated in the port area.

Très bon hôtel à proximité immédiate de la rochelle et de l'île de ré. Chambre réservée via le site de l'établissement et check-in rapide avec un accueil cordial et professionnel. Le cadre est idéal pour se reposer ou pour visiter la région. Grande chambre au 2eme étage, propre et fonctionnelle avec des espaces bureau, mini bar et coin café. Très bonne literie et salle de bain spacieuse. Le petit déjeuner est correct avec beaucoup de produits frais. Nous n'avons malheureusement pas pu profiter de l'espace spa que nous essayerons lors d'une prochaine visite.

We arrived in the dark, wind and rain. However, the lady from reception and valet came outside to greet us, which we appreciated. Very good car parking. The hotel is a lovely building on a street with nice shops and cafes. The hotel bar and lounge area is very nicely decorated with comfortable furniture and there was a fire burning, creating a lovely atmosphere. Our bedroom was large, the bed and pillows comfortable and the shower was great. I was very impressed by La Rochelle and would love to visit in summer. Very friendly and helpful staff. We did not eat in the restaurant but it looked good. Thankyou

I stayed 2 nights in this hotel with my 21 year old daughter in the first week in July. It's in a great position, down a beautiful street & a short walk to all the bustling restaurants along the port. The lady at check in was really lovely, friendly & informative (& again when we came back one night wanting a hot drink to take up to bed with us she helped us with this). The rooms were clean & the beds comfortable (I'm a bit fussy when it comes to what I sleep on but I had a great night sleep). We stayed midweek and didn't experience any issues with noise outside. The walls are a little thin and on rare occasions could hear next door but this didn't bother us at all & what this place offered overall more than made up for it. The shower cubicle was small so wouldn't suit everyone. I've been to La Rochelle many times and stayed at various hotels each time depending on who I'm traveling with (as a couple or large group). This place ticked all of the boxes and we weren't disappointed. On another note: I usually take a taxi from the airport but the queue was horrendous and after half an hour we decided to jump on the bus (it was Illico 1b) and it took us only a couple of minutes walk to the hotel from the Dames Blanches/St Nicholas bus stop....for under 2 euros each...so I'd do this again just to save taxi time, regardless of cost. Recommend this hotel....and of course beautiful La Rochelle. Ps. there's a lovely, buzzy restaurant opposite too with yummy food...it was packed so we had to take ourselves off to a nearby bar to have a drink & wait...worth it though as restaurant had great atmosphere.
