It was our second time staying at this beautiful B&B place run by Massimo and Susy. We stayed for 3 nights and totally loved it! The room was very comfortable and incredibly clean. We had all the amenities for the bathroom and a good choice of coffees and teas in the room. The breakfast was delicious with endless coffees and home baked pastries (different every day!). The hosts were friendly and accommodating. They looked after us like we were their best friends. We’ll certainly be back!

La gentilezza e la disponibilità dello staff.......la centralità della struttura... . la buonissima colazione... ci hanno portato a trascorrere due notti in modo piacevole nel nostro soggiorno per vedere le 5 terre d'inverno...certamente se torniamo a la Spezia abbiamo un punto di appoggio sicuro

We stayed 4 nights. It was great. They put us in one of the rooms on the station side of the railway tunnel. Just a hop, skip and a jump from the station which was ideal for us as we arrived by train, had a few days in the Cinque Terre, took the train to Pisa for a day ams then took the train to Rome at the end. It’s also very handy to La Spezia town, restaurants etc. we also walked from there to the Ferry to go to Porto Venere for the day. reception was very helpful. Room was great and the coffee machine and pods were much appreciated. Location excellent. The only negative (which didn’t bother us too much) - no elevator. Other than that, we had a great stay.

Abbiamo soggiornato una notte…camera piccola ma molto confortevole,pulita e assolutamente tranquilla…poi la signora Giovanna la proprietaria assolutamente molto gentile e cordiale ,ci ha dato consigli su cosa visitare nel poco tempo che avevamo…poi posizione davvero strategica …per raggiungere le 5 terre, a pochi minuti a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria,altrettanto vicina al centro… consiglio di prenotare il parcheggio per auto…che si trova proprio di fronte allo stabile…quindi non mi resta che fare i complimenti e ringraziare per averci accolto in questo breve soggiorno…sicuramente ritorneremo a trovarvi..LO CONSIGLIO VIVAMENTE!!!

Arrival information was sent by text messages from Alessandro. Its a difficult place to find with very narrow lanes to the apartments, however the information took us straight to it. A parking space had been reserved for us that was tight up against a fence but at least it was only a few steps from the apartment. The block itself is very old looking and right besides the train tracks in the town centre. No lift up to 2/3 floor and very old stone stairs. Reception is a desk inside a small hallway with the rooms leading from it. Alessandro arrived to check us in and gave us lots of information. The room looked directly out onto the train tracks. However, the room was nicely decorated, tea and coffee making facilities, fridge, good bathroom with large walk in shower, no wardrobe (only hangers on a rack). Our first nights sleep was disturbed by the trains but by the second night we were so tired from having walked the 5 Towns, we slept better. The pillows were too hard for us and I had to use a small cushion to sleep on (a choice would have been nice). Breakfast is taken in one of two cafes - one at the train station. The better choice is about a 5 minute walk and in town. Personally, I would not have bothered and made coffee in the room as breakfast was only coffee and croissant (no fruit juice, as was advertised, in the station cafe). Overall, its very convenient for the train station and we were able to leave our car for the time we were there and explore the area by train. Wifi worked well.
