Swiss International The Vistana services are second to none. The Staff are the most friendly in all my hotel stay here in Nigeria. They are courteous and willing to help. The meals are tasteful. Moreso, the ambience and room comfort was so out of this world. I enjoyed my stay and would recommend the hotel to my friends, family and regular travellers. Ideal location for getaway plans.

The hotel is clean. When I came to view the place , I was shown a nice big room as the standard room. On checking in , I was put in a small room . First my tv wasn’t functioning . My room was changed . The other room had water dripping on the floor from the AC. The soap dispenser wasn’t dispensing . I wasn’t able to have a bath the first night cos of this . The restaurant tried to exploit . We ordered spaghetti bolognese. We got a plate of cold soggy spaghetti with spares minced meat for ridiculous bill! I asked for orisirisi snails and was given snails barely bigger than periwinkles also at a ridiculous price . Terrible service . I won’t be returning here .

Excellent hotel, friendly service. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Great security. I had a lovely breakfast each morning, attentive staff. Great cocktails too. I also had the BEST BURGER I’ve ever had in the world. The Anchorage burger was truly excellent. The chef should be commended

Set in the city’s highbrow area of Ikeja, 3 miles from Murtala Muhammed International airport and ten minutes from the commercial district of Allen Avenue, is the luxury boutique CitiHeight Hotel. It is also in the vicinity of several global hotel brands including Ibis, Sheraton and Radisson Blu. Having booked our holiday straight after the Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s July 19th announcement, my daughter and I took our first post COVID-19 international trip in search of some culturally relevant inspiration. Lagos was a great option as it is on the UK government’s amber list of countries and a destination where we could really get immersed in the culture. Our UK airport experience was hectic to say the least, and we arrived a day later than scheduled. Even the most-prepared traveller is advised to have two or three back-up plans in case of “incaseities”. I sent a quick email to the hotel, explaining the last minute change in plans and luckily for us, Banji, the hotel manager was very accommodating and sympathetic to our plight. Upon arrival, we were treated like VIP’s by the polite and friendly hotel staff who took our luggage and escorted us to our room on the 6th floor. Prior to our travel, we had made reservations through booking.com and in response to our welcome email, we made a special request for “a high floor with a birds eye view”. While our preference was peace and privacy, we anticipated endless trips down to the restaurant and bar. Our executive room was pretty much like the photos on the website. Palatial, lustrous and spacious, featuring a plush king size bed with bespoke bedside cabinets and an inviting lounge area. Alongside the usual amenities, there was the obligatory hand sanitizer, but I couldn’t help but notice the bold and intriguing artwork decorating the walls. What a fantastic way to showcase emerging as well as established artists. CitiHeight is a luxury boutique hotel, on par with international standards, and I would go as far as calling it an ‘art hotel’ considering the vast art collection and attention to visual aesthetics. The allure for me was the authentic art pieces dotted throughout the hotel. From the hotel entrance, to the lobby, restaurant, and on every floor. I saw choice object d’art pieces that fused local elements of traditional art within the luxury architecture, giving the hotel a sense of high-end opulence fused with contemporary cool. I began to envisage a ‘classic meets contemporary’ theme for a photo shoot. Tip: Take some Instagrammable shots around the hotel (Do not touch artwork). Pool Life: When it comes to ‘pool life’ at CitiHeight, just grab a sunbed and relax. Although the pool lacks an outside view, poolside was a popular hangout for my daughter and her friends. Since it had a private/secret garden feel that was ideal for swimming, sipping cocktails and soaking up the sun during the day. Tempat tidur baru adalah syurga. Pancuran sangat hebat dan bilik untuk dua bilik mempunyai peti keselamatan, peti sejuk mini dengan air percuma, cerek dengan teh / kopi. Atm di lobi akan mengambil debit visa USA untuk naira tempatan, mengeluarkan 10,000 pada satu masa. Biliknya agak ketat. Seandainya kami tinggal di sini dan bukannya di pangsapuri tempat tidur mereka seperti papan. Kakitangan sangat hormat dan profesional. POS tidak mengambil kad kredit, atau atm, walaupun pelanggan melakukan pembayaran. Tidak sabar untuk tinggal di sana lagi, lain kali di lagos.

I had a great time at Ibis Hotel in Lagos. But my greatest disappointment was, my phone was stolen by one of the Ibis’ security guards. I resting at the pool side and I unfortunately slept off. When I got up, I couldn’t find my phone. Not knowing that a security guard on duty has stolen my iPhone 11. But we later retrieved the phone from him.

The hotel is beautiful, quiet, and tranquil, with the added convenience of being very close to the airport, making it easy to avoid traffic and catch your flight. The staff, particularly Mr. PrinceWill and many of the front desk and dining staff, were polite and deserving of a 5-star rating. They deserve a huge raise. However, I can only give 4 stars due to an unpleasant encounter with a rude staff member when our AC wasn’t working. He initially blamed us for the issue but later brought a portable AC and apologized. Unfortunately, by that time, we were already tired and preparing to sleep in the heat since we had an early flight. The night managers could benefit from some customer service training. The food was generally good, though my sister did get sick from something she ate. Thankfully, she recovered, and the dining staff did apologize. The rooms are great, and on our return, we were fortunate that the AC was functioning better, though they still brought us a room AC to help with the heat. Overall, my experience was positive, but I'm not sure I would stay here again. I might explore other options Lagos has to offer.
