"The hotel is fantastic, clean and in a good safe location. The staff are friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel if you want a comfortable and safe place to stay alone or with others. They offer a buffet meal three times a day and an airport pick up and drop included. Probably the best hotel experience I have had in 10 years of travelling to Nigeria. Thanks to all the staff for a wonderful stay, will definitely be returning. See you in March."

"One of the best hotels on the island of Victoria. I haven't been to Nigeria for several years, and it still looks like this again. The water in the pipes is a bit turbid. Fortunately, the environment is not bad and the stay is relatively quiet. It's okay in such a country."

"Misan and Stella at the front desk were exceptional in ensuring we were ok at check in and the food was great. All the servers like Favour, Mahmoud, Victor were super friendly. I highly recommend this hotel because of its superior customer service, amenities, clean rooms and the view from 5th floor is exceptional and the ambience is priceless. Location is perfect also, less than 30 minutes to the airport and 3 minutes walking distance to a grocery store."

"The stay was okay, but as a Nigerian used to bigger spaces, the room felt quite small. There’s also no intercom in the bedroom, so you have to go downstairs to reception for anything you need.
The food was good, but it’s a Chinese hotel, so expect mostly Chinese dishes. I requested extra pillows but none was provided, and the toilet could definitely use more tissue supply.
On the positive side, the space is clean, the staff is nice and they offer nice bathroom amenities like a razor, comb, and a few other essentials."

"Came here for a week on a business trip and felt great! This is a newly opened hotel, the room is very clean, the equipment inside is also very complete, the sofa is very comfortable. "The Sichuan chef of this hotel is really worthy of name recognition! What impressed me most during my stay was the Sichuan cuisine in the restaurant, whether it was hot, flavored or plated, which showed a professional level. The master's cooking is spicy and has layers, the fragrance is strong and not dry, and every meal is very good. Especially boiled meat slices, mouth chicken and Mapo tofu, the taste is authentic, spicy but not exciting, spicy, hemp, soup fragrance is just right. The master is also very particular about the ingredients, freshness is high, the cutting is meticulous, and you can see the intention. During the service, it is also very enthusiastic and will be adjusted according to the spicy degree that the guests can accept, which is very intimate. Can eat such an authentic Sichuan flavor in the hotel."

Mmoshood shittuThe hotel is situated in an excellent location close to the airport. It is a modern hotel that is clean and has excellent facilities. However, the services at the reception desk and Koriko & Co restaurant are 4-Stars. The reception is always crowded, and you spend much time waiting for the staff to attend to you. However, they are apologetic and friendly about keeping you waiting. The food in the restaurant and the varieties are excellent; I mainly ate the local dishes (I ate breakfast daily and ate dinners on several evenings with friends and relatives), and my Lagos taste buds can detect the days when the food tastes superior (must be the different chefs) compare to other days—the meals were warm and delightful. I must recognise the hospitality of the Intern Pastry Chef (Deborah) and ? Food ambassador (Nimi); both checked how the customers enjoyed their meals and hotel stay. They did their job with beautiful smiles and engaged well with everyone. Deborah is a true gem and will add immense value to the hotel brand; her puff-puff is a perfect 10/10.

RrainandwinterI had a very pleasant stay at Shoregate. The reception staff were warm, respectful, and attentive to my time. The room was clean, neatly arranged, and comfortably cooled with proper air conditioning. The bathroom was bright, spotless, and had good water pressure in the shower. While the bed was softer than I prefer and the television screen had visible lines, these were minor issues compared to the overall experience. I would gladly return.

The room was a sanctuary of comfort – spotlessly clean, modern, and spacious. The plush bedding, sleek bathroom, and skyline views from the floor-to-ceiling windows made it hard to leave! Perfect for both work (great desk setup) and relaxation.
The staff here truly shines! Special thanks to the staff who greeted me warmly and sorted every request with lightning speed. Housekeeping kept the room immaculate, and the concierge offered spot-on recommendations for exploring Lagos.

AAhmed LarroIn overall, i score “A” for the hotel, in term of location and security. I booked for standard room, but sold out and they upgraded me to deluxe, appreciations that gesture!
The only snag about this hotel is that they need to work on their breakfast. It’s like they impose what they like on lodgers, which should not be so. IIn addition, they need to work on some of their gadgets I.e obsolete tiny refrigerators with molds sorrounding the fridge. The internet, forget it, it’s not something to home about, flunctuation is the order of the day. Staffs are courteous. Great team👍👍👍

Good room and facility keeping and cleanliness, very good service at frontdesk but less good at the restaurant. Food was not exceptional but a little bit more than average...more nigerian food type oriented even at breakfast (poor continental international breakfast). Location was perfect for me as I was spending 10-15mn to reach airport general aviation terminal where I was having my profesionnal meetings.

ZZwajeThe hotel workers are friendly, hardworking and accommodating. The hotel was located in a very catchy area with ease access to shopping mall and supermarkets . However from personal experience point of view, the hotel Wi-Fi was very poor. In addition the hotel wifi can only connect to single device, maximum of two devices is not allowed. I had to use my personal mobile data for the total of 7days that I stayed in the hotel.

The room I was given was very uncomfortable there are holes inside the pillow case, the bedcovers are old and scratchy on your skin, cockroach inside the bedroom, the bathroom needs repair, there food was not good, I couldn’t even eat the fish it’s was black inside, that was my first and last food that I ordered .

SSamkelisiwe Pamella NokwenzaIt’s a little hard finding the hotel because Google maps takes you to the back of the hotel and not the main road of the hotel. This needs to be updated.
We asked to order food, the reception said the kitchen would call us for an order. 30 mins went by with no call. We had to call back and request to be connected with the kitchen. We ordered food and they said it would take 30 mins. It took over an hour and came in dry. Nobody likes eating after 11pm.
Decent hotel for airport transfers.
