We chose the upstairs family room with a view, we were not disappointed, a view straight down the lake, wow. The beds were comfortable, we had enough room for all of us, kitchen was adequate and the large bathroom was good. The lady in reception was very helpful with recommendations for dinner, breakfast, activities not just in Tekapo but around the MacKenzie Country. We have recommended this place to family and friends already, you will not be disappointed.

The female dorm room (4) was awesome. There were plenty of outlets to charge devices, plenty of storage for each person's luggage, comfy and spotless beds, and the room was super warm in winter! The hostel is quiet and modern, with gorgeous views across Lake Tekapo and a brilliant lounge with beanbags and sofas overlooking the view. The staff were super lovely and helpful. The bathrooms and kitchen were very clean. The location is right in the centre of the town near to the supermarket and Dark Sky Project centre.

Location is good which near the Church for taking photo at night. Room is too old and a bit dark. We stay at second floor which we need to carry the big suitcases upstair. It will be a bit noisy if people go down the stair which near my room at the early morning. The best thing for that hotel is provding a free breakfast at the cafe ” Jack rabbit ” on each morning. A full breakfast (menu attached )with a drink and one dessert(can take away) is included at the room rate. They are tasty and let me full until late afternoon.

This was a great place to stay. I had the room with a private bathroom and it was all comfy enough for the couple of nights I stayed. The car park is small and quite awkward, so I parked on the residential street which was no problem at all and lots of safe parking available. The facilities are well maintained and all the other guests were very respectful and it was pretty much quiet by 10pm. I didn't see any staff - the keys were left in an envelope in a check-in area, with a clear map of where your room is located - it worked very well and no issues. It's only a short walk to the lakeside so this accommodation is great value for money. When I arrived the room was very hot from the heat of the sun so the following day I kept the curtains closed as there's no air con. This definitely helped to keep it cool.

Situated 46 km from Mt. Dobson, Rodman Star Apartment offers air-conditioned accommodation with a patio. The property has lake views. I have booked the smallest hotel room, so I cannot complain much. Well the room is really small. It cannot fit chairs into the hotel room. Fitting 2 luggages is tough too. But everything else is great. The toilets and hotel rooms are clean. They offer free laundry facilities as well. It looks super pretty too!

設施：有廚房，餐具、廚具都齊全，有冰箱，有微波爐。有暖氣，空調。55平米的空間把廚房、起居室和卧室都分開了，很不錯。 衞生：衞生很乾凈，設施很新，住着很舒服 環境：雖然不進湖邊，但是周圍很安靜，坐在房間裏就能欣賞雪山美景，而且離村中心也不遠，超市、湖邊步行就可達，還沒有湖邊和中心那麼嘈雜，很安靜。停車就停在門口，很方便。 服務：全程自助入住，自助退房，對社恐友好。基本無人打擾。早上來了個華人小哥哥，很貼心的問需要補充什麼物資嗎？比如紙巾、咖啡，茶一類的。 下次再來tekapo還會選擇這裏！太讚了！

This is a very new and wonderful hotel! They have excellent service and avant-garde decoration design. Oh, and they have a great location! I think I will come back to Tekapo for the next holiday. That's my first choice.

Great location, just a short walk to the church of the good shepherd and a similar length walk over the bridge into the town centre. Cosy rooms once you’ve put the heaters on! The heaters are very effective luckily as it can get pretty cold here. We stayed in the Rowan cottage which had the main cottage and two sleep out style cottages. Worked well for our family.
