This is certainly not a five star holiday park. The accommodation we were given had the bedrooms very close to a noisy road. The downstairs bedroom curtains allowed the light from the pathway lights to shine directly in. Also the mattress and my pillow was lumpy. When we removed the pillow case the pillow was yellow in comparison to my husband’s white pillow. On removal of the duvet cover we noticed three stains on the duvet. The upstairs shower temperature was not controllable and I almost got scalded. The sealant near the bath was a little mouldy and a tile was cracked. Behind the toilet it was filthy, a lolly stick was there as well. The downstairs bathroom shower was blocked and the bath mat was ripped. Behind the cushions on the sofa there was debris so it had not been vacuumed prior to us visiting. The TV was not a smart one and it was very small. The manager emailed me to ask about our experience and I told him everything. No apology has been received.

We really enjoyed our stay this August The perfect location for exploring local Nature mixed in with a tranquil restful feel for accomadation. Great nearby assortment of supermarkets including a lovely Pub just on the end. The dogs had a fantastic holiday and loved all the adventure with a happy helpful warm welcome. They would like to say thank you for their welcome pack! We are planning our next stay! Thank you Jen, Janet, Jack & Anya xx

Lovely location and lovely complex of fully furnished apartments next to the Lancaster canal and a nice restaurant/pub. We stayed for four nights and found it perfect for visiting the Lake District and surrounding area. Definitely worth a visit and we will be back.

We have just come back from a fantastic stay here . We have been approximately 4 times now and absolutely love the apartments and they feel very homely . Nice and warm too . Car park is right outside the apartments , local to the motorway and villages in the lakes . The restaurant is about 2 minutes walk and is near the Entrance of the Marina which is handy . Sad we are now back at home but will be looking to come back at some point in the new year , would recommend the marina view with balcony .

The standard of accommodation is excellent and the location is perfect for the Lakes, Trough of Bowland, Yorkshire Dales and Arnside and Silverdale. Great value and everyone so friendly and helpful. Stayed many times over the years and look forward very much to our next stay.

Spacious spotlessly clean apartment very well maintained and well equipped with a lovely added touch of a bottle of milk in the fridge great idea for making a lovely cup of tea to sit and relax in a very comfortable lounge area over looking the boats in the marina . Perfect!

We stayed at the marina apartments overlooking all the lovely boats. The apartment was ready on time and the staff were really easy to deal with and very helpful. It was immaculately clean and so spacious and homely. We had a two bedroom apartment with an on suite shower room separate bathroom and a downstairs toilet. Although we ate out, everything needed to make a meal was available in the kitchen. There was even a bottle of milk in the fridge. The small balcony was lovely ,just sitting outside watching the world go by. Five stars from us and we’ll definitely be back.

Excellent clean and cosy appartment, comfortable base for local attractions. Staff were unobstrusive but very helpful. Quiet marina at this time of year, marina views added to the peaceful atmosphere. Country walks were close by and a towpath walk for wildlife is highly recommended.

Really enjoyed our stay here. House is lovely, very clean and cosy. Got everything you need. Longlands restaurant/pub next door which is very handy for property and very good. Second time we have stayed here and will definitely come back again.
