One of the best hotels with good customer service and excellent facilities! I don’t normally write long feedback, but I was beyond happy and my expectations were truly exceeded. Kudos to both pool attendants — they’re polite, kind, and very attentive to kids. The Wi-Fi was great, perfect if you’re working while on vacation. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth and hassle-free! The receptionists and F&B staff were amazing. Breakfast didn’t have too many options, but everything was delicious and worth the price. The room was quite small, especially if you’re traveling with kids, but it was clean, cozy, and smelled great Good Job to house keeping department!! The hotel also offers free access to the Mactan Newtown beach and pool, which was amazing! They provide a free shuttle service on schedule, but if you don’t want to wait, no worries — it’s just a short walking distance. My baby Franco really enjoyed our stay here. Thank you for the wonderful experience! We will surely Belmont Management, please take care of your people — they’re your gems! Customers will surely keep coming back because of them!

I really enjoyed staying at Belmont Mactan! Despite the construction, their beds are incredible!

We loved our stay at Belmont. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast buffet was great and food choices were varied each day. We also enjoyed the amenities especially the gym. We were given a spacious room, and everything we needed were in there — room slippers, bath robe, toiletries, etc. Cons: The drainage in the bathroom was a bit slow, so the shower area was kinda flooded when we take a shower and it also took some time for the water in the sink to drain. I also gave a four star for the amenities because we were expecting more from the beach and we had to take the shuttle to get there.  Overall, we had a pleasant stay here. Would definitely stay here again and recommend this to our friends and family. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I had a wonderful stay at Belmont Hotel Cebu! The staff were warm and professional, especially during the earthquake — they stayed calm and checked on every guest right away. The room was cozy, breakfast was simple but tasty, and the tour desk was super helpful for planning activities. The private beach was beautiful, peaceful, and perfect for relaxing or watching the sunset. Truly an amazing and safe place to stay! 🌴✨

The service is top notch. The buffet breakfast is verygood. The room is a bit small but its clean. The resort is big, is very relaxing and have a very nice scenic view. We'll definitely come back.

The hotel staff were amazing and very friendly. They took time to greet us and learn our children’s names, which was very kind. The staff did a great job and showed care during the earthquake and we felt safe as they did a thorough inspection of the property. The breakfast was great and offered a good variety of food. As wonderful as the staff was, we were disappointed with the beach. It is quite small and very rocky. We wish we would’ve known this before booking as we have small children who were looking forward to soft sand and swimming. One of our children got cut the first day due to the rocks. Had we been aware we would’ve prepared better or booked elsewhere. The pictures on the hotel site are a bit misleading. We tried to cancel our booking halfway through so we could travel to a softer beach down south, but the hotel rejected our request. We enjoyed the pools and found them very nice, however not being able to jump in is a bit unfortunate. Our young children wanted to jump and were told they couldn’t. The hotel just didn’t seem very kid friendly when it came to the amenities.

This is a great hotel with welcoming staff. The view from the room was stunning. Everything was clean, and the hotel provided nice amenities. I recommend it.

I booked for two nights for my son's 5th birthday celebration. I asked the hotel for birthday freebie and, they delivered. They gave a slice of cake upon check in with balloons, cake and teddy out of the towels. We also got a room upgrade to Sea view. it was beyond our expectation. the breakfast buffet was so good plus we get to experience Gordon's restaurant on the same building. What an experience! The hotel staff was also so courteous. They all greeted us with a happy smile whenever they see us. Especially the room service, because we asked for additional tea and laundry bags, they gave us without hesitation. the best part of the hotel was the sauna and the steam bath. We keep on going back because of it. Not only my son was happy but me and my partner as well. We will definitely stay here again.

As a Muslim family, we are happy with our stay. Family friendly and service is top tier!

Good location, 😍the room is clean, beautiful pool, cons, poor noise insulation, you can hear the neighbors, I lived for 2 nights, three days, changed towels and provided water, toilet paper, only 2 days, there was a store next to me, I bought it myself, so I lower the rating for the service😬

Not Worth the Price — At Best, Average for a 3-Star Hotel Stayed: August 9–12, 2025 From August 7–9, I stayed in Cebu City and checked into this hotel on the evening of the 9th. To my surprise, the Ironman Triathlon was taking place — a massive event that completely closed the hotel’s beach and all coastal roads on Mactan Island, making it extremely difficult to get anywhere. The hotel I stayed at in Cebu City had proactively informed me in advance that their pool would be unavailable due to renovations. In contrast, this hotel gave absolutely no notice about the Ironman event, despite knowing well in advance that it would cause major disruptions. This level of negligence is unacceptable. They later claimed they had informed guests who booked directly with the hotel. However, when I contacted them before my stay to reconfirm my reservation, their reply simply stated, “Your booking is confirmed,” without a single mention of the event. This was highly unhelpful and showed a complete lack of hospitality. On the day of the event, I had an island-hopping tour booked. Normally, the port is about 30 minutes away, but due to the road closures, I had to walk a long distance and take two or three different motorbike taxis, which took me two full hours to finally arrive. If I had been told in advance, I could have swapped my Cebu City and Mactan stays to avoid the disruption entirely. Not being informed made this one of the worst travel experiences I’ve had. The problems didn’t end there. The room looked clean at first glance, but in reality, it was far from it. The bed sheets had visible footprints from a previous guest. I only noticed this at night, so I reluctantly slept on them. The next morning, I requested room cleaning — but the sheets were left unchanged, and the room was only superficially tidied up. When I raised these issues with the front desk, all I got was “Sorry” and “We will report it to the manager.” No offer to immediately clean the room. Some staff even smiled while I was explaining the problem, which felt extremely disrespectful and gave the impression that they do not take guests seriously. While the room was compact, the shower water never got hot until I let it run for more than 10 minutes. The ventilation was either nonexistent or very weak, leaving the room constantly humid. The doors and walls were thin, so hallway noise was very loud. I have visited Cebu and the Philippines over 10 times, but this was the first time I have had such a disappointing experience. There are many better-value hotels available. I absolutely do not recommend staying here. At best, it may be worth visiting on a day trip just to use the private beach — nothing more.

The staff at Belmont Hotel are exceptionally warm, accommodating, and truly hands-on in making sure guests feel welcome. The property boasts a lovely swimming pool and convenient access to the beach, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We stayed for 2 nights and honestly regret not spending our last 4 nights in Cebu City here as well. Belmont holds a special place in our hearts, it’s where my girlfriend and I stayed during our very first meet-up, making it a truly memorable experience. Breakfast was another highlight, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. Overall, we absolutely love Belmont Hotel. If we return to Cebu for another vacation, it will be our top choice without hesitation.

We stayed at the Belmont for three nights on a high floor of the hotel. The Belmont is a nice hotel, but we would not stay here again. Pros: The bed, comforter, and pillows were very comfortable. The AC in the room worked great. The shower pressure was strong. This hotel has a small gym with everything you need to continue your workout while on vacation. The best part of Belmont is the private beach that quests have access to just 5 minutes walk away. Cons: The TV in the room did not work well. The cable connection kept cutting on and off making watching a show impossible. The shower had inconsistent temperature. The restaurant food wasn’t great for its high price. The street food was better. The in hotel pool was extremely small for a hotel this size. Although Belmont has some nice qualities, we have stayed at hotels that were much nicer for less money, so we would not stay here again.
