My children had a fantastic time at this place! They enjoyed the waterpark so much that they spent the entire day there. Pororo Land was also a fun experience, although I felt that the two hours allotted wasn't quite enough and seemed a bit pricey. Nevertheless, we all really enjoyed the various activities my partner and the kids participated in. Overall, it was a memorable day!

Great hotel with its own beach! We booked 2 deluxe pool side rooms at Costabella and we were very happy with the rooms. They were very spacious and the views from our rooms were fabulous! We really enjoyed our stay here, there were heaps of beautiful lounger around the pool and at the beach. Free use of paddle board and canoes.
We stayed at the Costabella for 3 nights and it was a very relaxing stay. The property is old but very well maintained and all staff were so helpful. The breakfast buffet was good, food at restaurant was scrumptious, drinks at Luna bar great and there is a free pool table to play on.
The only negative we found about Costabella was that you can’t just walk out the property to go to a convenience store or another restaurant. If you want to be away from the hustle and bustle then this is the place to stay. Yes, we would come back again to Costabella but next time we will bring our own snacks and drinks.

The hotel is so grand, everything looks fancy, aesthetic and expensive . The staff wears uniforms, everyone looks tidy and sharp. Staff are polite and easy to approach. The view from room 1535 is spectacular. I can see the sea, a small community, another building and part of the city. The room is well maintained, clean and tidy. Everything is inside. Free coffee, shampoo, body wash, soap, 2 towels, 1 small towel, 2 bottled water, hot water, tv, CR, bathroom, safety deposit box, very big window . My family was very happy during their overnight staycation.

Crimson Mactan went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The staff was warm, courteous, attentive and quick to respond. Breakfast spread was incredible, props to the head chef who made sure everything that comes out of the kitchen is of quality. We chose Crimson as our wedding venue and while it rained during our reception, the whole team was quick to respond to transfer everyone to the ballroom to keep the party going! They were also generous enough to hold a foam pool party for us the day after the wedding. The premises were clean and beautiful, rooms are cozy... we have no regrets with holding the best day of our lives at Crimson Mactan!

We had the pleasure to eat at Belmont Cafe. It was an exceptional experience and the service was second to none. From the greeting upon entry to the quality of food and the attentiveness we received, the entire time was incredible. We had the four cheese pizza, fresh lumpia, Laing and other items. The food was beyond delicious and can’t wait to taste more dishes in the future. We want to give special recognition for Chef Ri, she checked on us to make sure we enjoyed the food, a rare thing and much appreciated. Special recognition as well to our server Michael, he went above and beyond to make our visit memorable and was one of the most attentive I have seen, he provided the highest quality of service and others in the future will have a hard time matching his skills. Thank you for all you did to make our dinner one we will not forget.

I stayed here twice in April & May 2023 and was consistently impressed with the staff & the property. The staff was very friendly, helpful, accommodating and very courteous. The deluxe room had a great view, was large, clean, modern and very comfortable all around. The buffet breakfast was excellent with good selection of Western and Pilipino dishes. And the table service was excellent—shout out to Ariel and staff for a very attentive service! I was also pleasantly surprised at the quality & selection of drink’s & pastries at the Cafe also punctuated by excellent service. The property has 3 great pools, a small private beach , picnic area & fitness center. For me the only service missing is the food room service but it’s a minor item for what I needed. The location is an about 30 min from Mactan airport in a secluded gated area. Getting here was through local neighborhood and inconvenient from other restaurants & services so you’re pretty much will be staying on the property unless you want to go out for a long drive. I paid 650 pesos for a Grab ride around noon time from IT park to Reef. I have been to many 5 star Western style resort hotels in US, Europe & Asia and Reef compares well especially if you can book a discounted room for less than $150 USD. Overall, I highly recommend the Reef Island Resort hotel and will return again when I’m in the area. Definitely a good value for the money and excellent staff.

We booked two rooms and we were only able to get one room when we checked in and the other room an hour and a half after! We followed up multiple times and complained about how the room wasn’t ready when it’s already the check-in time. They told us that the staff was already on the way up to bring the key card for the other room yet it took a long time (given the fact that the rooms were just at the second floor, above the lobby) when we followed up for the third time, we were told that the card was being brought from the main wing that’s why it’s taking so long like? we literally got the key card from our first room on the front desk lobby below our floor (ocean wing). They are also very strict about the room capacity that you have to pay 3k plus to pay for an extra person unlike other four-five star hotels. The room was also dusty, my boyfriend kept sneezing non-stop when we went in the room and had to take anti-histamine. Facilities were great though.

It's a quiet place so if you like to have a vacation with family I think this place is perfect. They have a bar though to sip and unwind facing to the beach it's such a great ambiance. They also have restaurant with a classy and elegant vibe. What I like is the hotel is really clean and modern their staff is very polite and hospitable. With the food hmm I like the breakfast than dinner both are buffet. The time we went there they have a Zumba in the pool and I find it cute seeing guest doing Zumba together.

PPengguna TetamuVery clean place. Door men and hotel staff were extremely helpful and kind. Girl at check in was hard to communicate with, but got checked in ok. Room was very small, with small window. Food was good but portions changed every order. Breakfast buffet is good if you want cold eggs and typical Philippine selection. Thank God for the toast and watermelon.

CCycling Family ManWe arrived at 2:00 AM and wanted a place to stay near the airport. This is about as close as you can get. We were hoping to walk from the international terminal to the hotel but it didn't look walkable when we arrived so we had to call a taxi to take us the 400m. Overall we had a positive experience.
The kids really enjoyed the pool and the breakfast was decent.

PPengguna TetamuI stayed for 1 month at the Tambuli Resort in Mactan Maribago with my wife but I will not return to this place because the Administration is unwelcoming and much too strict with the residents. We could not cancel our reservation because the rental was unfortunately prepaid. We were really disappointed because we didn't have access to the beach area or to the gym. Walks around the pool were also not allowed. In fact, if you want to have access to the amenities of Tambuli, you have to pay daily fees in addition to renting an apartment or hotel room. If you do not own a condominium, the head of administration does not consider you. The management is not open-minded and accommodating with the tenants, they will not help you if necessary even if you rent for a long stay. In addition, shops, restaurants or supermarkets are located very far away. We will never buy an apartment in this place because we cannot rent it to tenants or demanding guests. It's really a bad investment and it's definitely better to find another place to buy real estate.

PPengguna TetamuIt’s a great hotel but I think it’s a bit overpriced. It clearly seems to be a popular hotel for Koreans. Excused almost all the guests during the time I stayed here were Korean. Even parts of the menu and the beverages in the restaurant were Korean. So was the breakfast. Otherwise, it’s a decent hotel and the staff is helpful and polite

PPengguna TetamuThe room was was huge just for me and my younger sister.no available walking flipflops.but the over all room was great.your evry penny never go to waste.The staff are all accomodating.Theres a breakfast option like a checklist whenever theres a few people staying at hotel..Just one time we had an early tour and were worried that we cant avail the inclusion,they didnt tell us but to my surprise they gave us a pack lunch before we go..in that way you can really tell thay they worth every star you gave them😊😊😊😊.Kudos to all the staff specially kuya manong cleaning at the pool who always greet us a warm welcome..

PPengguna TetamuWhat an underwhelming experience staying at Movenpick Mactan. I had two reasons for booking at Movenpick after reviewing their website. I am a member of the loyalty program that Movenpick is associated. It wasn't until after I booked that I found out that the ACCOR Live Limitless loyalty program did not apply to this particular Movenpick hotel.
My wife and I were celebrating our birthdays as well as wedding anniversary so when I saw the Ibiza facility on the website we were excited that this would be a celebration/vacation to remember. We soon found out after arrival that the Ibiza precinct had been damaged in a typhoon 3 YEARS AGO (2021) and had not reopened. I questioned an executive about the possible misleading information on the website and was told that it takes about 1 year to remove it from the website (really????) and another year to have it uploaded again so it was left there offering an experience that wasn't there.
The breakfast buffet was very good and the staff at all outlets were friendly helpful and very courteous.
The same cannot be said of the snacks (spring rolls) near the pool that were served overcooked. The club sandwiches were delicious.
Our anniversary dinner Crispy Pata and Pochero were bland and not up to what we would expect from a five star hotel kitchen.
It was an underwhelming experience.
If you want filipino food then walk to the entrance and diagonally opposite is the Morning Glory restaurant which we visited and enjoyed a delicious array of filipino cuisine.

PPengguna TetamuWe had a long layover in Cebu as we went from international flights to domestic flights. I found AOSMEC Square Hotel on the map of the island and the price was very cheap. Instead of a long rotten night in the airport, I decided to get a room. We booked the room 3 or more months in advance and when we arrived there at 2AM the desk clerk was awake but had no record of the booking since it was a 3rd party who handled it. He gave us a room anyway and wanted a 200 peso deposit for damages. All I had was a 1000 peso bill so he took that because he had no change. I also left him with my booking confirmation numbers and that stuff. In the morning my wife and I had an awesome breakfast for about 300 pesos in the cafe there. The hotel folks were very happy when we told them we only wanted 500 pesos of the deposit back. The other half covered our breakfast and a tip. It was a small room but the AC worked well and so did the plumbing. I got a good bit of sleep and a shower, even if it was a cold one. None of the rooms have hot water but for $12 a night I was perfectly happy with it. I noticed lots of scooters inside the hotel compound and I think they rent them. It's also really close to a beach. We were only interested in a bed and a shower between flights but someone may like hanging there a few days because it's so cheap and the people are so nice. The food was good too. Something we learned about Cebu, always get a cab with a meter. If the driver wants to negotiate a price without the meter, tell him you'll find a cab that has a working meter. Don't wear jewelry have your cell out either as the snatchers are coming back since Duteurte is gone from office.

TTrek16107089405It was much better than expected. After booking I read a couple of reviews left here in trip advisor. I had wanted to cancel, but that was not an option. We decided to make the best of it since it was Mother's Day and my birthday. I lived through Odette. Had no MECO service for 3 months. I didn't see any signs of Odette damage. If it was there it wasn't glaring. The pools are well maintained. The beach was fine. The food isn't as bad as others have written though it is a little pricy if you're used to food prices in Cebu. The tourists mostly from Japan won't think the prices are high. I asked a Japanese couple why they had chosen this resort. They told me it was part of a tour package. Japanese love tour packages where everything is selected for them. I know. I lived there for 27 years. There is a cycle for their breakfasts. Ours was on a Monday so it was: Continental Filipino American. Funny thing.. corned beef is in the American breakfast. Oh sorry. No Canadian breakfasts. Haha. The rooms were fine. The ”air con” was strong and so was the hot water in the shower. No problem. OMG! There were a few ants. Hahaha. So what. It's the Philippines. They're everywhere. The staff was courteous and friendly. I wouldn't hesitate to go back. The door latch in room 505 needs to be reversed. It comes right off when you open the door.

PPengguna TetamuDON'T STAY HERE!!! The sea view, the beach front, and the nice staff are the best things about this property. The worst are their policies: I was told at the front desk when I checked in that a 1500 Php cash deposit is required. Nowhere in Agoda's website or any emails from the property said that. Right off the bat, you get the message that they expect the worst from their clients that's why they have these antagonistic policies including no outside food and beverage allowed. The first thing I saw when I came into the room was a list of charges for damages and stained linens. And guess what? Our bed sheet already had stains on it! They care more about getting the most money from their guests than providing a comfortable and enjoyable visit. They certainly need to put more effort on improving their facilities. There is no lift. It is inconvenient to drag heavy suitcases up and down the stairs even if it's only one floor above. Although the property description says it was renovated in 2022, it still looks old and run down: big, dark stain from puddle of standing water on our balcony, dark spots around the rim of the second pool, peeling paint. There is a restaurant on site, but most of the items on the menu are not available. No other restaurants nearby except at the Reef Island resort next door. It is far from shopping and other activities. You have to call a cab to get around Mactan and Cebu. The property is well guarded: security at the gate won't let cars drive up to the front door. Taxi has to drop off and pick up at the street curb. I definitely will not stay here again and warn others to book elsewhere.
