This is my second Motel One and I did not think it was possible to have a room more spartan or smaller than in Berlin Mitte..but I was wrong. As a single I have 1 towel, 1 set of pillows, 1 duvet, no washcloth (none in Berlin either). There are no nightstand, just a shelf that you would use for stacking clothes if you unpack. 3 hangers. When you book, they ask if you are single or double. This is why. My companion is with her husband and paid more for a double. Higher floor and 2 of each. On the flip side, it is in a great location. I had to close the window because of the church bells and street noises. You have a lively bar and breakfast while very expensive at $13.50 is great. You could skip it and walk up the block to several bakeries. Avoid a car if possible. The lot is extremely tight. $15 per day. So while cheap and clean, the other costs add up. You have the bare minimum but with great common areas. If you do have a car, turn left into an open lot…before you get to the street that is the motel one parking garage. Same price, but easier to manage.

Location is superb, just across the train station and convenient to walk around the square where actions are happening on Saturday night. Breakfast spread is good, room is decent size with minimalist decor. Front desk was kind to loan me a universal adapter.

Recata a Lipsia nel Luglio 2016, con un viaggio di gruppo organizzato dall' Agenzia ”Abaco Viaggi”. Siamo arrivati in ritardo causa un spiacevole disguido e una grossa bugia da parte dell' accompagnatrice di gruppo al titolare dell'hotel. Era meglio la cruda verità e l'ammissione da parte dell'assistente della propria incompetenza.. Nonostante tutto, il titolare è stato cordiale, a mio parere troppo, così come la famiglia e la guida della città. Ho avuto cena tedesca (come poche) e varia, camera spaziosa e fresca. Colazione superlativa. Se tornassi, sceglierei di nuovo questo hotel. Arrivederci dal Friuli Venezia Giulia. Lucia Floreani

location with only a few steps into the old town was good. Breakfast buffet was also good. Staff - some were friendly some not so. First time booked a quiet room and got one not facing the street but nobody mentioned that there is a big construction side in the back and the loud elevator was right behind my bed wall. And the matress was awful saggy so I got a bad back ache and decided to sleep on the small sofa the second night. Make sure you get a new really nice renovated room which I did the second time I stayed there, facing the street which was not so noisy at all.

Buchung kurzfristig problemlos, musste ein paar Minuten warten, bis die Buchung auch beim Hotel sichtbar war. Leider kein Mineralwasser oder Tee auf dem Zimmer und im Hotel war gegen 23 Uhr nichts mehr zu bekommen. Die Zimmer sind OK und sauber, aber kein für einen Laptop wirklich geeigneter Tisch. Fernseher ließ sich nicht spontan anschalten. WC empfand ich eher klein.
Positiv ist für mich die Lage am Hauptbahnhof.

This very sad hotel stuck in the 90’s was very disappointing . The hotel staff were friendly, but one couldn’t tell the staff from guests apart, because they didn’t wear a uniform or have name badges on. The room was very dark. Dark old rug, very dark wooden closets that were way to large for the room. That dark furniture had seen better days and the bed wasn’t comfortable. The bathroom a nightmare. The shower was old and dingy, black spots of mold between the grout. The soap dispenser was over 1 meter away from the sink. Very nerve racking. The breakfast buffet was somewhat disappointing. There was almost everything available, but the long lines at the 1 coffee maker wasn’t an ideal situation. After 1 week , I was happy to leave.

We booked for a family of 5 (3 of them kids). We got a family double room with 4 beds. For the little one not bed was there, but he had to sleep in the middle of a king size bed with the bigger ones. As all rooms were full, they could not offer an alternative room. At least we got an additional blanket and pillow. The beds were clean, but the rest of the rooms were badly cleaned. The ground was sticky and we found coffee spots at the door. The bathroom was smelling badly. We had booked a parking lot, but the entrance was only 1,90m tall, so our van could not pass it and we had to park on the street. At least canceling the lot was no problem. The price was fair, but we will not stay there again, because of the bad rooms.

Great value for money. Needed a hotel for a quick stopover along the autobahn and ended up choosing Campanile airport hotel. Really happy with our choice; clean rooms with bunk beds for the kids and a great breakfast for a great price. Convenient parking as well to a subsidized price for hotel guests. Location is a bit off, but if you’re looking for an airport hotel or a hotel along the autobahn look no further. Note that they don’t have a restaurant so make sure you bring food with you, or eat in advance - options at the airport is limited and very expensive.

PPengguna TetamuIn general a decent hotel, however our AC was not working in the room and given our late checkin (11:30pm) nobody answered the phone when calling reception multiple times, which was very disappointing. We could occasionally also smell cigarettes from the ventilation system. Breakfast was alright. Without the issues it’s a quite decent hotel.

The bunks had Curtains for privacy and to stop light. Room was maybe a little too warm/hot - could’ve just been me. Quiet sleep that night which was perfect. Bar on site was small and cheap good beers

Has been several years since last visit. Pretty decent, ...fitness room available 24 hours, - adequate with free weights, treadmills and a couple of cycles. Weight machine available as well. Pool, though was only open till 9pm. Water dispenser could do with more accessible paper cups.

Mit einer größeren Gruppen haben wir als Firma eine Übernachtung im Hotel gebucht und waren absolut begeistert! Die Zimmer waren alle sauber und modern eingerichtet. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und von hervorragender Qualität: Bio, frisch und vielseitig (es gab sogar vegane Alternativen). Das Gleiche galt für einen eigens für uns ausgerichteten Lunch. Das Servicepersonal (sowohl im Hotel als auch in der Bar) empfanden wir als ausnahmslos freundlich, aufmerksam und sehr hilfsbereit. Vorab gab es unsererseits viele Änderungen, die alle stets freundlich angenommen und umgesetzt wurden. Der Kontakt zur Serviceleitung war unkompliziert und immer zuvorkommend! Auch nochmal ein großes Dankeschön für das Entgegenkommen bezüglich einiger Zimmerstornierungen von unserer Seite – es lief alles reibungslos! Wir können das Hotel – nicht nur aufgrund seiner fantastischen, zentralen Lage – uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen!

TtorinessThis property is in a great location in central Leipzig. An easy 10 minute walk from the central train station. Apartment was massive, modern, secure and very clean. No air conditioning though and we stayed in middle of summer - the room was very hot even with the plug in fan provided we were a little too warm. Also getting the access to the room is a little complicated but once we managed to get the information about how to check in (is all online), it was good. I would recommend staying here and I would stay again.

GGlennWas stranded at the door step and was unable to get into. Ring up the given number and there's no one picking up.
A kind soul, happen to be unit neighbour helps us out. Manage to contact them and realise that they DIDN'T email us the necessary documents and password inorder to gain access into the unit.
Imagine what what if this happened on a late night. Very nervous and bad experience despite all the pros about this unit.

HHeidemarieDas Hotelzimmer ist modern eingerichtet. Mir persönlich fehlte ein kleiner Kühlschrank und ein Kaffee/Teebereiter suf den Zimmern. Der Spa-Bereich ist sehr schön, obwohl das Poolwasser ziemlich kühl ist. Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Die Sauberkeit ist auch gut. Mich persönlich hat jedoch die extrem abgenutzte Bestuhlung im Speisebereich erschreckt. Solch ein Bestuhlung dem Gast zuzumuten ist frech von der Geschäftsführung.
Das muss dringend abgeändert werden.

PPengguna TetamuThe location was perfect and the price was suitable for me. There was enough USB and power outlets for everyone. There was also a mirror and a place to hang clothes (e.g. jackets). There were also a fewer hangers than the people in the room but it was ok during my stay; only one other person and myself used them. There were also 6 locker compartments, which was very useful, but you have to buy your own lock. You can buy it from the lobby but in my case they were out of stock so I bought from Rossman, and thankfully I still had time to get one before they close. So, it's better to buy your own lock and use it in your travel. However, being in an 8-bed room with others meant that the toilet was not always clean because of different people using it, having different standards, and the smell in the room was not very good and needed ventilation and something to protect others when someone in the room is sick. So, I would suggest putting leaflets and using controlled rules. Also, the one who used the bed before me has left the pillow and blanket unorganized and with his own dirty cover, so I had to remove them and tidy them before putting mine. I believe, these should be cleaned and tidied up before me. Also, the heater's knob had no numbers so I couldn't know on which level it is. Also, the attitude of the first person I met at the reception desk was not very good at the beginning, but afterwards I didn't have to talk deal a lot with them. I wouldn't recommend a&o's App for usability, but I used to check-in while on the way. However, when I arrived, it was difficult to use the self check-in terminal. It prints a paper with my room number asking me to confirm it, but how do I know the room number in the first place before checking in?? also, whoever used it before me had not taken his printed receipt, so when I had to take the paper, I took also this receipt, with amounts that are not mine, so it was confusing. When I went to the reception clerk and asked him, he first misunderstood and started the checkin based on that wrong receipt. When I started to notice that, I told him (again) that this receipt is not mine, so he asked me (with quiet frustration) ”then why are you showing me this?” and then asked me for my ID to proceed with my check-in. Of course, it feels very bad when he blames me, but also they should be better listeners and need to pay attention to the usability of the self check-in scenario in the App as well as the terminal.

PPengguna TetamuEl servicio de este hotel cayó en picada. Es la tercera vez que me alojo aquí y después de esta experiencia no volveré. Un recepcionista malencarado me atendió al llegar. Mi habitación no tenía internet (como prometieron) y el empleado se rehusaba a darme otra habitación. Después de insistiruna hora, no le quedó más remedio que darme otra habitación. En el pasado había recepcionistas muy amables y serviciales. El recepcionista que me atendió parecía más un pandillero que un empleado de un hotel. El desayuno buffet muy bueno y las habitaciones limpias y cómodas. Mala ubicación, lejos del centro.
