Hotel berhampiran Plaza mediacite, Liege

I stayed here for 2 nights and what a lovely place it was. Right opposite SNCB Liege Guillemins station so super easy to get to and there are a few places to eat and drink around the hotel so no problems there. Breakfast was fine and filling and also there are a number of local buses stopping at the transport hub over the road. A nice spot indeed and clean and comfortable.

Petit séjour dans ma ville natale et superbe découverte de ce petit hôtel de neuf chambres dans un bâtiment datant du XVIII siècle vaut le détour, endroit sympa et atypique pour celui qui apprécie les bâtiments anciens, vielles pierres et bâtisses d’un autre temps, c’est endroit est fait pour vous. Avec tout le confort pour un agréable séjour. Je recommande pour les personnes nostalgiques qui ont envie de vivre une expérience différente des grands hôtels. Petit séjour 1 nuit en couple. Concernant l'accueil, ça était, le personnel était très agréable et expliquer assez bien les choses. Attention à votre arriver, leur parking souterrain est payant ( 20€ ) et ce n'est pas préciser dans le descriptif. Concernant les chambres, je n'ai pas aimer, certes elles sont moderne et très propre, mais pour dormir c'était horrible. Le bruit de la ventilation est très forte, beaucoup de lumière venant de l'extérieur pénètre dans la chambre, malgré les rideaux. Le matelas, pour ma part, était horrible, trop mou, mais ma copine, elle, a apprecier. Pour la salle de bain, il n'y a pas d'eau très froide, le + froid est tiède. Notre douche était mal isoler, de l'eau sortais de la porte. Il y avais 3 boissons ”” Offert ”” dans le frigo, ça, c'était vraiment très bien. Pour les ascenseurs, c'est assez spécial, il y en a 3, mais 1 seul qui vas au SPA. Ils sont très flippant, très petit, font énormément de bruit, il ne faut pas être claustrophobe, surtout qu'une fois, on est rester bloquer temporairement dedans car le bouton pour la réception ne fonctionnais pas. Concernant le SPA, il est super, il y a un sauna classique, un sauna Finlandais, un sauna à onde, un hammam, une piscine ( assez petite malheureusement ) et un jacuzzi magnifique, si vous avez la chance d'y entrer, car il a toujours des personnes dedans.. Le petit déjeuner était impeccable, énormément de choix, rien à redire. En conclusion, c'est un bel hôtel certes, mais qui ne mérite pas le prix payer ( 170€ la nuit, et encore c'était avec remise.. ) et qui équivaux plutôt à un 4 étoiles qu'un 5, en me basant sur des précédentes expériences. Pour l'extérieur, Liège, on a pas trop apprécier, première et dernière fois. Énormément d'endroit pauvre, abandonner, en travaux, très sales.. On est content de rentrer, c'est triste à dire.

We stayed one night at Radisson Liege. The hotel looks fairly new. Our room although small, was very clean, soundproof and well decorated. The bed and air con were good. The view out the back was not so good. Breakfast was very good. There is a parking under the hotel, but it is owned and operated by a neighboring hotel, so this parking is not accessible. We were directed to use the underground parking at the iLot shopping center 450 meters distance from the hotel (see map I attached) This proved to be quite a chore as we had quite a bit of luggage to drag through the streets and the iLot shopping center parking entrances can be challenging to locate. When checking out on Sunday, the parking entrance we used on Saturday was closed, so I spent a lot of time trying to find how to access the parking. The Radisson hotel provides a discount coupon for parking. When I inserted my parking ticket into the machine, the machine failed and kept my ticket. It took about 45 minutes of calling the hotel and the hotel calling parking management to allow me to exit my rental car from the parking. I can't imagine how this parking arrangement will work in really bad weather like heavy rain or a snowstorm. When I finally got my rental car out of the garage, I had to return to the hotel to retrieve my luggage. 1.5 hours to properly checkout mainly because of this poor parking situation.

For the price I paid for my room, I expected a LOT more. I travel a lot and very often around Europe and the USA and this hotel is one of the worst value for money hotels I have had the misfortune to experience - you are charging PREMIUM prices for dark, miserable rooms where I even had to cliimb upstairs to go to bed. The bed was on a mezzanine where I had to stoop to avoid banging my head on the ceiling as I am a tall man and the polished wooden stairs made me feel very anxious that I would slip going down them especially in the middle of the night. The coffee cups were damaged (chipped) and you have the AUDACITY to offer cheap recycled toilet paper in a a dispenser that I have only seen in the cheapest BUDGET hotels!!! Not even a roll of toilet paper!! Cheap single sheets from a plastic holder!!! And you charge €184 per night for THIS?? It is ABSOLUTELY SHAMEFUL. I am not happy AT ALL with paying such a high price for an overnight stay . You should be charging HALF the room rate. Unfortunately I had no time to ask for a better room or a refund as I had an evening engagement in Verviers but I will not be staying in your hotel again. Whilst the woman on the checkout desk was apologetic and offered me contact details for your customer care team for a future stay in one of your hotels in the region, this is not going to happen as it will be at least a year before I return to Verviers/Spa and I would have preferred a partial refund instead. I most certainly will not recommend your hotel based on this experience. A refund of at least 1/3 of the price of my stay would be helpful but I suspect that is not going to happen.

Bij aankomst werden wij heel hartelijk en met de glimlach ontvangen door een heel vriendelijke vrouw. Ze gaf ons uitleg en bracht ons naar onze kamer. De kamer was netjes, ruim, gezellig aangekleed en er was veel lichtinval, waar wij echt van genoten. De indeling van de meubels vonden wij ook superleuk! Het was een super rustgevende kamer met een heel ruimtelijk gevoel. In hotelkamers voelen wij ons soms opgesloten, maar dat was hier absoluut niet het geval! Er was heel veel opbergruimte in ruime kasten, superhandig! De badkamer was volledig in orde met een mooie ruime inloopdouche. Alles werkte perfect! We vonden het wel super jammer dat het zwembad enkel tussen 17u en 19u gratis te gebruiken was. De spa bijboeken was niet meer mogelijk omdat het vol geboekt was. Wij hadden ENORM uitgekeken naar een gezellige relaxerende “avondzwembeurt”. Bij het boeken via deze app van Trip hadden wij nergens gezien dat het zwembad niet continu vrij te gebruiken was. Ook is het voor ons te duur om dat er nog bij te boeken helaas. Het ontbijt was voor ons wat minder. Er waren een aantal dingen die we niet zo aangenaam vonden, vb niet alle vaat was proper, 1 van de potjes van het dessertenbuffet was blijkbaar gebroken, enkele mini eclairs in de frigo waren “geschonden” en dat zag er niet zo smakelijk uit, de granola-torens waren nogal leeg… De zaal waarin het ontbijt plaats vond, vonden wij wel super!! Het is een beleving op zich! Wij waanden ons in een heel andere wereld. Dat geldt ook voor het hele gebouw, de gangen, de tuin,… De tuin is sprookjesachtig. Als wij niet zo snel weg moesten, hadden wij daar graag wat tijd doorgebracht. Een superleuk ingerichte woning en tuin, super rustgevend, de gangen zijn ook heel mooi ingericht, het verzet echt je gedachten op een positieve manier en wij wilden hier super graag nog langer blijven!! Als wij een groter budget hadden, dan kwamen we hier voor langere periode en boekten we de spa erbij, want voor rust hebben deze eigenaars zeker gezorgd!! Wij hebben echt genoten van ons verblijf hier en raden het aan!
