Hotel dengan Restoran di Lille

I must admit - seeing some less than stellar reviews, I came very close to canceling my reservation and going with another hotel. I am glad I did not. Honestly, I am not sure why there are complaints as if everyone is perfect. The hotel is great! Beds comfortable, showers clean, views beautiful. AC works nicely. Any time I asked for help - Ambre and Nicolas were super helpful. Whether changing my room due to proximity to the elevators, to just simple reservation help in the city - they did above and beyond. And every day greeted me with a polite smile. What else can one ask for? Meals - breakfast and dinner buffet is very nice, with wide variety of food. For those complaining, my recommendation - there is SO MANY DIFFERENT CHOICES! Do not concentrate on a few you did not like, concentrate on ones you did. After all, this is what buffets are about, right? CHOICES!. They even have Big Green Egg, and they smoke delicious meat on it, from sausages to salmon! Location - a great location, close to train station and walking distance to museums, park, old city. Room Cleaning - sometimes I would leave my ”Do Not Disturb” sign a bit longer. And they would still clean the room, and would not forget the turndown service - putting chocolate on a pillow, closing curtains. Loved it. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Thank you guys! Will definitely come back. I hope I get my 917 :)

Séjour très agréable du 17 au 18 mars. La proximité de la gare est un avantage évident. Accueil de journée ou réception de nuit impeccables. Contacts, avant et pendant le séjour pros et sympas, l'équipe semble dynamique ! Nous aurons plaisir à revenir lors d'une étape lilloise.

Great clean basic hotel with everything you need. Friendly staff, they recommended we book a restaurant if we wanted to eat in town. We were so pleased we did as town was very busy. Big comfortable bed . Excellent free breakfast. We managed to park on-site which whilst expensive at €17 it was easy and safe.

Bellissimo soggiorno a Lille nell’hotel Ibis Centre Grand Palais. Camera piccola ma con tutti i confort. Staff gentile e disponibile. Colazione abbondante e variegata con prodotti tipici francesi come le crêpes, le madeleine, i formaggi, tanti tipi di pane. We stayed in the hotel for 2 nights (2 adults and 1 baby). The room was fine, a little dated but spacious enough for what we needed. A cot bed was provided, which was good. There was a decent hairdryer and mini fridge, which was useful. There was a kettle with tea and coffee making facilities but we found that the kettle was really old and leaked water everywhere. There was no milk for the tea, and only paper cups. Our main issue with the room was the bed. Although the mattress was comfy, the bed frame seemed to be some sort of temporary one which was extremely squeaky every time we moved. Not helpful when you have a baby sleeping in the room. We did hear a little bit of noise on the first night but not a lot the hotel could do about this as it was from the street outside rather than from another room. The positive about this hotel is the location. It's only a 12 minute walk from the main square, which was perfect for us. We also found the staff to be very friendly and welcoming on check in. They allowed us to check in early even though we arrived 2 hours ahead of check in time. Breakfast was pretty good, with a decent selection on offer. Overall, a pretty good find for the price we paid but could do with some basic improvements to the room.

The hotel is excellently located opposite the main train station where the Eurostar arrived. The area was very quiet and also within walking distance to pretty much everything we needed to see so we walked everywhere and never needed public transport. The lobby of the hotel is cosy and very welcoming and the people at reception were friendly and very accommodating. The room was nice and the beds very comfortable. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment on that but we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

I booked the hotel as it purported to be a five star hotel with a great spa and restaurant. Thomas at the front desk was very helpful and he deserves a mention for this. First of all, the restaurant was closed but I understand this won’t always be the case. The Spa As for the spa, this was disappointing. The spa has no lockers or changing facility so you have to change and leave everything in your room, and then walk through the whole hotel in your dressing gown and slippers, and back again with wet swimming costume. On the first day we got to the spa and it was very crowded and all the seats/loungers had been taken. The pool was full also and so we ended up doing the half naked hotel walk for no reason. The next day was a little less crowded and we went for a swim, but the pool was pretty cold, certainly too cold for what you would prefer in mid November. The Room I paid extra for a garden view. It should have been explained that this was really not a garden view. As we were on the ground floor, the other rooms overlooked us so we had to keep the curtains closed the whole time therefore negating the purpose of a view. In any event, the view was pretty uninspiring and certainly did not warrant paying extra for, in fact it should have been discounted. The room was also extremely poorly lit. There was no main light on the ceiling and just two small bedside lights. One of which was not even working. We often had to use our phone lights to find things. There was no coffee machine in the room. There was a small kettle that I managed to plug in in the bathroom and just about made a cup of coffee with the tiny capsule of milk that was provided. I don’t believe this small capsule of long life milk and instant coffee sachets is really what is expected at a five star hotel. The television The TV only had 5 channels and all of which were in French. While we were out most of the time, it is common today to have at least access to English speaking channels, or even Netflix and streaming shows which is nice in the evenings. Other things When leaving to go to the station we asked the front desk for a taxi. The station is only a 5 minute drive away and less than one mile from the hotel. The taxi charged us €20. This is outrageous and the concierge are clearly in cahoots with this taxi firm to rip off the guests. The taxi to the hotel with a different company cost €6. This is not ok. All in all, for +£300/night, off season I think this hotel is disappointing. There are better hotels available for far less, with more comforts and conveniences available. I would not stay here again. I am a Bonvoy member and will be making this known to them directly.

A boutique hôtel. The location is excellent. Friendly staff. Rooms are OK, not great and the restaurant IMO is overrated and too provincial. But as I said, the staff is excellent, they were very accommodating and let me have a late checkout with no problem. I would love to see an upgrade of the terrace and dining area, give the chef more leeway with less chi-chi. It’s a nice place that just needs some fine tuning. Good wine list, breakfast to your room included.

Arrivée à Lille pour un déplacement professionnel sur 3 jours, j’ai découvert l’hôtel Le Napoleon Très bonne ambiance, chambre propre, personnel très gentil, petit déjeuner et dîner copieux pour un tarif attractif. En plus, l’hôtel est bien situé. Je recommande !
