Room was clean, have both towels and hand towels, changed every day with clean ones. Pillows were good. To use room safe must pay deposit plus 2 euros/day. Has room phone but no phone directory, so unable to phone housekeeping or reception. Had to go down to reception to complain about the choked sink (wash basin): Sink choked, flowing very slowly, waste water accumulated took long time to drain away. However nothing done. Complained in the morning and in the afternoon about the choked sink and unable to use the room phone since no directory. Reception staff in the afternoon did not take note about the choked sink. He said hotel does not give housekeeping phone number to guests. I said that I want to complain to the manager. He said that he had passed on many complaints to his manager, though his manager said “yes, yes” but he saw no change, including the fact that room phone has no directory to call reception or housekeeping. (When we returned 11 days later, there was still no phone directory in our hotel room.) The following morning I told the reception staff that the sink was still choked. He was surprised and he went to our room to see the sink. After seeing that the sink was choked, he assured me that the sink would be cleared. Sure enough, when we returned to the hotel in the evening, the c hoked sink was cleared. Has to climb 6 steps to reach lift/elevator. This can be a problem for older folks with heavy luggage. On our return stay, the room was much smaller. Could not close door of shower room when standing in front of wash basin. Mini fridge did not work and none available for replacement. Toiletry tray in shower area was missing. Not enough space to stand for showering, making it impossible to have a proper shower. Holder for shower nozzle too loose, could not stay in position except when hose was pressed against the wall.

Comfortable, clean and well run. The staff were helpful in clarifying travel issues such as the intermittent rail strike. Our room was good but the lift, although claiming to fit 4 people, is really big enough only for 2 and I think a sizeable hotel. should have more. On the plus side you can get up almost as early or late as you like, because the buffet breakfast is served from 6.30 a.m. to midday. And the dawn chorus of twittering birds outside the window is nice if you like that sort of thing. The hotel is not as central as its title implies and in the area there's a shortage of evening entertainment in the way of bars. A couple of good restaurants, the Churrascaria and the Hamro Ghar (Nepalese, would you believe!) serve good food and beer however.

We Have been coming to lisbon for sixteen years (16 years)! And so far this is our best experience when it comes toooo... Dificult to describe in words what we saw.... The place its location its design is incredible... a whole upper level compared to what we are offered overall in Portugal. The food was excellent from starters to main courses and desert. Also the wine selection is very well chosen. When it comes to the service that was our biggest delight! Our server was a lovely woman called MARIA (from Guinea) - and she made it very special for us. Very kind and present and attentive and caring, to all the small details during the service and for that we are GRATEFULL. We will be back soon because this is what we recognize as ”EXCELLENCE! We were pleasantly surprised by Hotel Lisboa and would definitely recommend it. It's located steps away from Avenida da Liberdade. Very convenient with an eye-pleasing walk down to the main square or over to the Parque Eduardo VII. It was sparkling clean. We couldn't have been happier. We had two rooms, one with a king bed and a pullout in the other room, which my friend said was very comfortable. Large windows that opened to let in fresh air and ambient street sounds. The breakfast buffet had a bit of everything with eggs, bacon, fresh fruit, pastries, yogurt, seeds and coffee. Across the street is a mini-mercado and a delicious restaurant called Honest Greens. Would recommend it too, especially if you're veg. Would stay here again.

I am deeply dissatisfied with the online booking service offered by Zenhotels. I made a reservation for what I thought would be a private room with 2 pets allowed and made a payment of 97 euros, which according to the booking confirmation received, was the total amount for the reservation. I was supposed to only pay 6 euros for the tourist tax and 10 euros per pet for the entire stay. Upon arrival at the hotel (WOT Lisbon Nomad), I was informed that the reservation I had made did not correspond to a private room and that in order to get one, I would have to pay an additional 234.51 euros on top of the already paid 97 euros (this would be for the upgrade to a private room + 10 euros per day per pet). Obviously, this news at the time of check-in and with such a price difference (more than three times the original value) makes it almost impossible for the customer to seek an alternative. Furthermore, I tried to explain to the hotel that the website was not very clear about private or shared rooms, as the room description did not indicate that it was shared. Additionally, it did not mention that the payment for the pets was per day rather than for the entire stay. The person responded that if the website did not have complete information, it was not the hotel's problem. I countered that if they were selling their services through third parties, they are just as responsible as the website promoting them to ensure that the information is accurate; otherwise, they are complicit in a scheme to deceive customers. Finally, I decided not to proceed with the proposal because I found it disrespectful, an excessive charge compared to the original offer, and unprofessional. Therefore, I feel that I was cheated out of the 97 euros that I paid and that I could not use the offered service.

The hostel has everything that you would want. The staff was super helpful for whatever you wanted to do. The hostel itself has an area for you to meet people as well as a quiet area if you have to get some work done. It was also very clean. Definitely recommend it.

Pictures on the website are from the new building and be aware that once you arrive you can get one of the old rooms (which are dirty with old furniture and insects) that belongs to the next building which is the Estrella Dos Santos PENSION , and they will charge you the same amount as you stayed in a hotel ($232 for two nights) . They put us in a terrible dirty , very tiny room with no view (there was a wall ). We paid for triple room but because they needed to removed/clean an smashed spider from the dirty wall and some stained/dirty sheets from the room they give us a doble room ”while we wait ” (in the same building Pension) the manager said that we will stay there for our whole stay and charged us for a triple room when we stayed in an awful double room. We chose this place for the reviews -8.5 stars (! ) , for the ”laundry service” and the for 17 minutes walk to Saint George Castle, once you are there they say that there is no laundry service and we have to walk almost half hour to get to the Castle and to the CENTER. We felt very foolish. This is the first time that we had a terrible experience thanks to the very poor skills of a manager who treated us like they were doing us a favor. Unfortunately, we couldn't cancel this reservation because we paid when we arrived at the reception area which was very nicely decorated, after this, they sent us to the next building which is connected with the new building. And of course the manager didn't want to refund us at least with the difference for the price of the triple room with a double. I do not recommend this place. Pictures can show themselves

The hotel is amazing in every aspect! It’s in the middle of the cruise terminal and the airport. Metro is close by, and 4 stops to go to the city center. The hotel is very new, spacious, and clean. Breakfast is awesome with such a low price €8 (coffee is with decent quality, and you can even order latte, cappuccino or mocha for free). The hotel staff and restaurant staff are all super friendly. The lightning show at 10pm every day is very nice.

Location is very good - right at the main square of Praça Marques de Pombal, the main terminal for all types of city ground transportation - which, by the way, is varied and generally excellent. 20 to 30 minutes walk downhill to the main city waterfront area. The walk itself is an experience down the lively Avenida Liberdade. Lots of grand buildings, the ”posh” shopping district where the high-end shops are located, sidewalk cafes and cafes in the park-like medians. The walk back up Avenida Liberdade is not as steep as many of the roads and alleyways around. Back to the hotel. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful enough. The hotel is decidedly not a 4 star property as advertised. They have obviously made some interim upgrades - the tubs are large and comfy - but our room was quite small and cramped, the bathroom is uncomfortably tiny. Our ”double” bed was two twins pushed together. Only two outlets. It is a ”themed” hotel trying to decide whether to be 50's mid century modern, 60's Atomic decor, or Hollywood's glamour days, while not pulling any of it off particularly well. The food was meh. It seems to be a prime property screaming out for a talented investment team to rescue it. Would I stay again? It wasn't what I expected upon arrival, but having been there and knowing what it is, maybe. The location is very good, as are the rates.
