Tivoli Oriente Lisboa Hotel

Lisbon|0.52km dari Park of the Nations
I booked twice to stay at this hotel because I wasn't allowed to modify my booking, even though my second booking meant my husband and I would stay longer at the hotel. My first booking was for November 29 to December 4, and because flights to Lisbon were much cheaper on November 26th than November 28th, I decided to take the earlier flight and therefore enjoy Lisbon a bit longer. I was disappointed in the inconvenience of having to book a different room instead of being allowed to stay in the same room, not to mention the hassle of having to pack and unpack our stuff when we transferred rooms from the 12th floor to the 13th floor. But fortunately, our second room was much nicer than the first, even though the first one was slightly more expensive because it had a view of the river. The second room was newly decorated with tasteful interior design in blue, white, and gray, while the first had a tacky red padded leatherette headboard wall. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay. The wheelchair they lent us during our stay was new and sturdy, the breakfast food was decent, and the folks were friendly. The location was excellent, right next to the gorgeous train and bus station by Santiago Calatrava, a huge mall, and walking distance from the Expo area, the Fiera Internacional Lisboa, and two excellent restaurants - Honest Greens (best hummus we ever tasted, grilled veggies and salmon) and Butchers (grilled ribeye and lovely staff).

VIP Executive Arts Hotel

After reading the negative reviews, I decided it was worth reporting on our stay here. We were attending Web Summit at the Altice Arena and chose the VIP Executive Art's (sic) because it was a short walk from one end of the venue. Our room faced the street and was pretty spacious and comfortable, with no noise issues whatsoever; our only complaint was that the mini-fridge didn't work. We enjoyed the breakfast included with our rate, which was quite tasty and offered dozens of items, including interesting ones such as coconut brioche. The staff and elevators were fine, and we ate at two restaurants in the next block and enjoyed them both. And getting back to the airport by walking to Oriente station was very easy. Side note: I'm a comics fan and was startled and pleased that our room had a view of the giant superhero mural outside the hotel. If you're visiting Lisbon as a tourist, you'd do better to stay in a quainter and more atmospheric part of town. But for our needs, we were pleased with the experience we got at this hotel.

I stayed at this hotel and this was not my plan A. I had an Airbnb booked but turned out it was cancelled for different reasons. My hosts booked me to this hotel as i needed to be walking distance from the Altice Arena and from my kids. I loved this hotel. All of it. Super confortable beds. Pillows, linen. Loved our view. I had 2 rooms because i have 4 kids :) Great service. Great breakfast AMAZING location. Pool: too cold!!!!! not usable. Nothing negative about this hotel.

Melia Lisboa Oriente Hotel

I stayed for one night in the Melia Oriente which was during my birthday. I am a melia platinum member. The total stay at the hotel was well above my expectations. The hotel is a few minutes walk from both the Oriente trainstation as well as the metro and busstation. I arrived early (11.00AM) and was friendly welcomed at the reception desk, they assigned directly a room to me, which was also an upgrade (river view) compared to my original booked room. The room is of average size, but looks modern. Bathroom is also very nice, very hot water and a rainshower. Early evening, I received a very nice birthday cake and a bottle of portugese espumante (champagne). Beds are very comfortable and I slept very well. In the morning, the breakfast was good. It might be a bit limited in different choices, but actually all you need is there (bread/yoghurt/eggs/cheese/fruit/coffee/juice). As the restaurant is rather small you have to arrange a time to have breakfast in advance.

Very polite staff. The room was very nice and clean. The only problem was about the window. The glass was not clean (from outside) and it was not possible to take obvious pictures from the outside view. If I come to Portugal another time, I will choose this hotel again.

I picked this hotel simply cuz is close to my friend’s place. It’s quite clean , quiet , safe area. There are some restaurants around the area. Front desk service is quite efficient and friendly. Rooms are spacious and modern. Will definitely stay there again if I visit my friend again.
