We highly recommend Sheraton Lisboa! Everything about our stay was 5 Stars!! The front desk staff was very pleasant when we arrived. We were upgraded to an Executive Suite with our Suite Nights and it was fantastic. Our room was clean, well decorated and extremely comfortable. The air conditioning was quiet and worked perfectly. The bathroom was huge and everything looked brand new. The bed was the best and we slept well. The lobby lounge was staffed very well and the happy hour food and drinks were really good. The lady singing during cocktail hour was really good. The morning breakfast buffet was huge and tended to very well. Overall every staff person was very friendly and professional. Kudos to the management of this hotel for providing us exceptional accomodations in beautiful Lisbon.

This hotel has very helpful and courteous staff. My room was comfortable, with French doors that opened to let the fresh air in. The restaurant downstairs served a BEAUTIFUL dinner, with a scrumptious dessert and nice wine. Highly recommend dining there during your stay.

Very nice hotel a little out of the centre which was perfect for us as we wanted a mix between sightseeing and relaxing. Hotel is very nice, we had an Historic Superior, good size, great bathroom, Smeg fridge, tea and coffee etc. Pool is quite small with only 12 beds which sadly I guess in summer season are bagged very early, people leaving towels and books already to secure their place. Hotel feels secure and very comfortable, excellent library well stocked with a wide and unique variety of publications to enjoy over a cocktail. Front desk is fine but maybe not as ‘can do’ as you’d expect or hope for from a 5* hotel. Pre travel it took a number of email attempts to get any response on restaurant recommendations which is not encouraging. I did nearly switch hotels. Front desk in person aren’t as helpful with travel options either but thankfully City Mapper fills the gap. Restaurant excels! All the staff are friendly and helpful , food really excellent! You must try it if staying in the hotel. Honesty bars are a great touch in the library and pool area. Overall would highly recommend!

Friendly staff that held our luggage when we arrived in the morning allowing us to tour the city while waiting for our room. We did check in a few hours early. They provided us with some good dinner recommendations that were quite lovely. The sauna and pool were also welcome, especially after walking for hours. Breakfast was solid but not over the top. The metro stop was about 600 meters (up hill) to the hotel. Overall we enjoyed our 3 day stay.

Great room; we stayed on 18th floor that had a winding staircase with an outside patio. The patio was very large and had a fantastic view; it was wonderful. The beds were comfy and we were able to get an extra single bed brought in as there were 4 of us. The bathrooms were great with the rainshower head and sprayer, large soft bath towels and robes. The only thing that was disappointing is that the window on the main floor only went 1/2 way up the wall and there was no window on the 2nd floor bedroom; however you had the door that opened up to the patio on the 2nd floor. It was a fantastic room. The staff was great and quick to respond to any requests we had. Great place to stay. It is close to a park; restaurants, but seems to be more in the business district; however we walked all other to stores etc. Lisbon is very up/down so you are always walking up or down and on uneven ground/bricks. Fantastic place; just wear comfy/walking shoes and be ready to have some steep uphills and downhills.

Excellent gym; terrific tour of it and the city view from the roof top location by Miguel, the staff attendant. Varanda restaurant had an outstanding breakfast buffet all three days. Excellent service as well. Room and bathroom very well appointed and serviced each day. Lovely views over the park from the hilltop location. Nice balcony. The concierge could have been much better. I wonder if the Lisboa a Noite restaurant has some sort of kickback scheme going with the major hotels. It was not remotely one of the best locations in Lisbon; 20 minute taxi ride away; grossly expensive - outrageous by Portuguese standards. Another recommendation for a casual dinner at By the Wine was ok, but, again, Lisbon has far better places to offer. The booking at Seen was brilliant, so we’ll give the concierge 1 out of 3. At more than Euro1200/night, this is a very expensive hotel. It’s the height of summer and Lisbon is trending, so I get it. Nonetheless, it’s expensive for what it is.

we stayed four nights and had a wonderful time. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very nice as well. All the staff that we interacted it were absolutely fantastic. We arrived at the hotel just after midnight. The location of the hotel is perfect for spending a dew days in Lisbon. We walked almost everywhere. I would definitely recommend the AVANI Liberdade.

It is a good hotel. People are very friendly and helpful. They offered us free coffee. The rooms need refurbishing for sure. The bed was comfortable. It is very old and looks dusty even though it is not. The bathroom also needs an update. There was no shampoo at all. It was not checked. The hot and cold water is unstable. Ups and downs 153 euros per night is too much for my experience.

The location of the hotel is very central and ideal for visitors. Located in a good area and in close proximity to restaurants, cafes, supermarkets etc. The facilities at the hotel are very basic. I personally feel they can upgrade their facilities. The lady who checked us in lacked customer service skills. However, the man who assisted us on check out was just the opposite and extremely helpful. It is such a delight when the staff go the extra mile.

This hotel gave the impression of being basic but nevertheless clean and tidy. The room was small but adequate and, again clean and tidy. It’s reasonably well situated with the nearest metro stop being Saldaha (two stops from Entre Campos and four stops from Restauradores (Rossio Square)). Breakfast was generally good with a good choice of continental style breakfast options as well as scrambled eggs, bacon, mushrooms etc. We did think the eggs could have been a bit warmer (but that’s mass catering for you) and it would have been useful to have had a dispenser to place used tea bags in the tea/coffee area. Pleasant if small rooftop bar area. It was a very welcome and pleasant surprise to be served a complimentary welcome drink there. However, it would have been better to have made it clear (perhaps on the back of the voucher) that the welcome drinks were limited to beer, wine, port and water. Finally, I should mention the excellent reception staff. All very pleasant but in particular Jessica was very helpful in providing local knowledge

This is a really wonderful modern stylish hotel. The staff were friendly and even sent a surprise Prosecco and macaroon treat to my room!! The spa was a lovely and peaceful experience and I especially enjoyed the relaxation room with comfy heated chairs that help to ease my upper back/ neck pain I was experiencing recently. I enjoyed the fabulous duplex suite white was a lush and luxurious home away from home with a spacious living area downstairs and generous bedroom facilities upstairs. The private balcony was massive and a real treat. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great the weekend I stayed there so did not get to sit out much and enjoy it but it was lovely to have it anyway. Breakfast was plentiful, varied and satisfying and the coffees were a generous size. The decor and all materials used in the hotel were of great quality and lovely!! The location was a bit far out from central Lisbon city center but it was just perfect for me as I enjoyed having my base not in the middle of all the hustle and bustle / tourist area. Uber is extremely cheap in lisbon so had no problem getting around this way and if that doesn’t suit you, the metro is still just around the corner outside the hotel. Overall give Luster a 10/10. Thank you for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Left me incredibly dissapointed. Writing this right after I checked in, but will post it next day after breakfast and a night's sleep to be fair. Yes it is a 2 star hotel, I get it. BUT there are things that were omitted and are crucial and would have a world of difference. The room we were given is the smallest room in the hotel with the back window that is not next to beds but in a nook/cranny blocked from the beds by a supporting beam inside the room which is horrible. The room we were given is 113 and I'm guessing same for 213, 313 etc. The room is dark from the start, lighting is bad (bare minimum spotlights). The room itself is just off with the tiniest bathroom. There were other [better] rooms available but we were given this one (the hotel was not busy and it was in a middle of the week aka working days not busy holidays or weekends). My guess because we only booked one night and they figured they did not want to waste good room for cleaning service after one night stay. NONE of hotel pictures or booking sites show this room. So here's my photos so other travelers are aware. As you walk in you can bump into the beds from the door, thats how cramped everything is. Two beds, two night stands, tiny table, tiny one chair so one person sits at a time and an open rack/shelf with TWO metal laundromat hangers. For two average size females this is a sad moment. The bathroom does not have a bidet hence it is very small in size. There are no hooks, there are no other space but your bed to unpack any suitcases that you might have. Dissapointing. If you are traveling with another person you literally have to put all your stuff on bathroom floor or have your suitcase on your bed. They could have attached command hooks or put a nail on an inside of the door so that one could hang a towel or clothing while showering. The bathroom tiles had weird tape on the walls still on and there was absolutely no shampoo, Im not asking for fancy stuff but there wasnt even any of the standard magical 3 in 1 magical solution for shampoo/conditioner/shower gel on a shower wall. I did not even want to take a shower here, I waited until I trabsfered to another one with better conditions The open shelf had to be wiped down which I do anyways but here it was obvious dust mites or something that needed to be removed. There are no conveniences or small pleasures that you would hope from a hotel room. If I wanted less quality I would have paid way less and have gone camping or gone a hostel route for a different price. The room I was given at a 3 star price I would not have paid more than €69 and it seems you dont know what you are going to get as this room was not shown in any of the booking sites, which is not fair but bait and switch. The price of the room and the quantity of beds suppose to be for two people and yet physically the ammenities and ”comforts” of the room seemed to be for one person. If one person goes to the bathroom to take a shower they either have

I totally recommend this wonderful cozy hotel experience . All representatives show respectful cares and prompt attention to me as guest; and surprised me in happily offering a “mimo” for my birthday!!! I felt much delighted. The property really gets guests like me to feel like at home being. My heartfelt gratitude to all representatives Miguel, Beatriz and everyone from the breakfast team; Paulo, Miguel, Fernanda, Agata from reception and all the kindly representatives from the cleaning team. Hope to come back soon.
