How ridiculous is the app of trip.the hotel is terrible too.

Loved our stay in this beautiful hotel with charming decor and modern facilities. Our room 394 on the 3rd floor was lovely with large secondary glazed windows and long black out curtains stopping noise from outside which could be heard only if you opened the secondary doors in front of the original windows. Bathroom was exceptionally clean serviced every day. It had an up to date shower and enclosure. Loved the old doors and very high ceilings. Our door key was bent and was a little troublesome but the lock was oiled after we had reported it to reception. The breakfasts and evening meals were highly enjoyed every day. Staff are welcoming and friendly and speak excellent English. Our trip organisers had arranged for our coach group to have a kettle and tea coffee sugar in our rooms which they honoured and replenished supplies for us every day. They also gave us fresh milk from the bar or milk cartons from reception whenever we asked. I understand they may not always do this. We Brits do love a cuppa! We had several early morning starts and staff very kindly opened the dining room for breakfasts very early on several occasions of which we were very grateful.

Our first overnight stop after crossing into France, the hotel is situated in Lisieux which is about four and a half hours from the channel tunnel. Found it very easily on the main street in Lisieux, it also has its own private secure garage parking which is part of the hotel building. Check in was good and quick. Nice clean room but again with daily high temperatures unable to open the windows during the evening/night. We had dinner in the hotels restaurant which was served at your table whilst breakfast was self service. Good location but think there are other hotels as good if not better.

We stayed two nights here en route from Caen to Paris. We were greeted by Arthur on Reception who was extremely helpful - he ran the bar too!We booked a Superior Double and were given a nice corner room on the 3rd floor. The double-glazing was very effective. Our radiator didn’t work so Arthur kindly found us a heater. The hotel has a great integral garage where you pay to park. We had one breakfast and one dinner at the hotel. Breakfast was ok, though sadly the hot food was uncovered so had dried out. Dinner was good and our server Etienne was excellent, especially as there was a large group of Americans dining too. I chose Camembert Pane to start, followed by Chicken and Mushroom Vol-au-Vent. My partner enjoyed Terrine du Chef then Faux Filet. We’ll happily stay here again.

The hotel is well located within the town and has excellent parking in their own adjacent garage. The staff arevery helpful and friendly on the desk, and make you feel welcome. The room, although a suite was a bit small but was fairly well equipped and the toilet was good. Public areas are a bit dated.

A fully modernised hotel which has kept the the atmosphere and design of a traditional French hotel. Rooms are large and high ceilings give it an even greater sense of space. Evening meals were good and the restaurant patronised by local residents as well as guests

Overall excellent for room, parking and breakfast - let down completely by a really awful evening meal. My fresh fish was fine but the vegetables were massacred - have you ever seen limp soggy asparagus? My wife's chicken was overcooked and stringy - she could not eat it. I complained both to the waiter and next day on checking out with little satisfaction that the complaint was taken seriously.

A lovely hotel, very well positioned in Lisieux for exploring the town and the 3 cathedrals. The hotel is clean and well appointed. The room we had was quite small but absolutely fine for a short stay. The restaurant had an extensive menu, mainly French country style. Unfortunately, the set menu which was available to our coach party was limited. Staff were very approachable, friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again.

This is a very good hotel. We received excellent service from all the staff we met and they are clearly a team fully committed to their work. Rooms are comfortable and well equipped. We slept well with no disturbance from the busy road outside our window. The hotel is well situated for exploring Lisieux and the secure parking garage was much appreciated. The on-site restaurant is sensibly priced and the food is of a good standard and well presented; we ate here for both nights of our stay and were not disappointed, A particular bonus of the hotel is its spacious and comfortable lounge/bar which is the perfect place to relax after a day's travel.
