We stayed here from the 12/09/23 to 19/09/23. Never again the apartment was run down. Huge gaps in the flooring, torn curtains, no air con (two fans provided), and no extractors in the kitchenette or bathroom, light that didn't work. No cleaning service, but no cleaning equipment was provided either. We did manage to get the bed linen and floors washed but we had to argue for it. There are no facilities, no pool, bar, or restaurant. The beach is down lots of steps. not suitable for anyone with mobility issues or buggies. The beach is not child-friendly as there is a steep incline to get to the water, and it gets deep very quickly. On a positive note, the staff at reception were friendly and courteous. We booked through Globe Holidays, it was our first time using this company, and it will definitely be the last. We were shown fantastic pictures of The Guitart complex, everything you could ask for in a holiday. The problem it was it is their sister complex up the road from us, and we weren't allowed to use their facilities as they are classed as two separate units. We also booked transfers, we followed the instructions and were even 30 minutes early to the pick-up point. No bus showed up, we discovered they arrived one hour and twenty minutes early, and made no contact with us. It cost us an extra €56.00 for a taxi to the airport. When contacted the transfer company washed their hands of the situation blaming Globe Holiday. Please think seriously before booking anything with this company. What should have been a relaxing week for myself and my husband turned out to be anything but.
