I’m going to start w the positives. Amber is in a beautiful location on a private beach with nothing around. The walkways are lush with blooming banana trees and pineapple plants. I used the spa everyday while I was there. The treatments were all wonderful and in a peaceful ambiance. The staff was very friendly from the front office to the walkways and in the restaurant. The restaurant was very understaffed on Saturday night for the bbq dinner. The servers were great they just needed more hands on the floor. It seemed the manager of the restaurant just sat up front on his phone all the time. The hotel is very family oriented and I didn’t pick up on that at my time of booking. Kids running and screaming all day long. Parents, nanny’s and staff yelling for children that were running around wild all day. At Breakfast, lunch/pool time & dinner they were multiple family’s just letting the kids run around everywhere. There wasn’t any peaceful time at the pool to read or relax. At 1 point there were 12 small children at the pool on Sunday. The one day I didn’t got to the pool because it was so crowded. I love the room when I checked in but that faded quickly. Lots of mosquitoes in the room. I killed at least 10 by hand and every time I left I sprayed the poison can they left in the room. The bathroom had a terrible smell all the time. The bedding was dirty dirty not stained it was unwashed. I left the clean room sign on the door all day I figured by the time I got back from my massage it would of been by 4:30 and it was not. The comforter was covered up by the blanket and never changed since prior guests. It had blood marks that had not been washed for who knows how long. I was bit by something in the night on my face around 3:30am and my face swelled up. I turned the light on but couldn’t see any insects. It hurt so bad. I told the front desk the next morning and they got me an ointment to put on it. It was swollen for days and very painful. I had expectations that it would of been amazing but it wasn’t. My food was all delicious, the restaurant staff was very nice and friendly, the spa was great but the structure of the hotel has a lot to work on for the price. I’ve been in lombok for 2 months and I’ve never seen so many small children. If it was advertised as kid friendly I would of picked somewhere else. Even at check out a family was also leaving and 2 of the 3 kids were crying and I said there has been kids screaming and crying every hour for the 3 days I was there. Wi-Fi doesn’t work in the rooms For the money there are many better options in south lombok

Pearl of Trawangan was a luxurious, incredibly clean, and central hotel, whilst still being far enough away from the noise of the local bars (5 minute walk from bars). The pool was lovely with a very well kept pool bar, managed by very helpful and attentive staff who couldn’t have been nicer/more accommodating. There were bikes you could hire from 100,000 rupiah (approx £5) per day to make your way round the island as there are no cars on Gili T. The rooms were spacious with a lot of storage, good AC and a comfortable bed. The bathroom area is effectively outside, however there is a canopy and it is always kept spotless by the staff so was still very comfortable. The restaurant was also second to none. They feed you plenty at breakfast time offering complimentary pastries and fruit, and have plenty of options for your “main” breakfast. Our breakfast was included when booking our stay. We also had a lunch and a dinner here, both of which were superb. Having cycled round the whole island, I think we chose the best accommodation on the island. Some of the others, despite looking nice, had pools right by the main road which didn’t offer much privacy, whereas the pool here was set back, still benefitted from the sun shining on it all day, and offered plenty of sun loungers. They also had their own loungers on a designated part of the beach, which is literally 10 steps from the hotel reception, meaning you can enjoy the best of both worlds. Could not recommend enough. We stayed here mid-June 2023.

Le personnel est fantastique, tout ce petit monde s’est affairés pour nous faire oublier le temps. Dès notre arrivée, ils sont été aux petits soins pour nous, dans le but de nous rendre notre séjour inoubliable. Un grand plus est la literie, elle est incroyablement agréable, il est rare de trouver des matelas de si bonne qualité. L’emplacement un peu à l’écart du centre est vraiment un plus, cela vous permet de dormir tranquillement, car le centre est vraiment très animé, et cela, jour et nuit. Il faudra prévoir 20 minutes à pied et 10 minutes à vélo, lesquels sont mises à disposition par l’hôtel. Le restaurant à une vue imprenable sur la mer où tous les soirs, vous aurez l’occasion d’admirer le coucher du soleil sur Bali, en profitant de l’happy hour. La restauration est bonne, nous avons mangé chaque soir à l’hôtel et avons été gâtés. Le petit-déjeuner est à la carte, ce qui évite le gaspillage de nourriture des buffets, de plus le personnel fera tout pour satisfaire vos envies. Bravo aux employées du restaurant et de la cuisine ! Un tout grand merci particulier à Rudy, un vrai rayon de soleil. Il est partout à la fois, cherche par tous les moyens de vous faire plaisir. Extrêmement polyvalent et compétent, le Kardia Resort a de la chance de l’avoir. Nous avons vraiment aimé notre séjour à Trawangan et cela principalement dû au personnel du Kardia Resort. Merci à tous les employés et bravo votre employeur peut être fier de vous. Nous espérons que la direction prendra soin d'eux. Hotel pulito e moderno in una posizione perfetta, personale molto gentile, perfetta pulizia e ottima colazione. Eravamo di arrivo dal porto di lombok diretti al porto di Bangsal per le isole Gili visto che le barche si fermano alle ore 16 dovevano cercare posto per passare la notte ed è risultato un'ottima scelta

Lovely hotel with very friendly staff, beautiful pools, rooms and food (at a reasonably price). Only gripes would be that music is quite receptive and annoying if you don’t like Ed Sheeran / Lewis Capaldi type music and the noise from the motor racing circuit nearby is quite deafening for most of the day.

I stayed at this hotel from the 19 to 25 February, 2023 (7D6N), on the 8th floor (8XX). This hotel has very strategic location, especially close to the Mataram Islamic Center. The guest room is minimalist but roomy compared to similar competitors. The variety of breakfast is quite complete. The hotel staff are friendly, starting from the security, receptionists, as well as the restaurant section. What makes it special too, every day the hotel provides free Lombok-style snacks and a mini bar which is filled with soft drinks and snacks every day (free of charge too). Just a suggestion for a safe deposit box so that the size is slightly enlarged, at least it can store a 13 inch laptop 😊. If there is an assignment in the city of Mataram, God willing, I will stay at this hotel again.

This is an absolute gem of a place to stay. The property is quietly situated just a short walk to the busy nightlife of Kuta. Dozens of restaurants and bars are within a 10 minute walk. The grounds have been beautifully landscaped with ponds and gardens and the large pool is gorgeous. We stayed in a 1 bedroom pool villa which was super comfortable. Breakfast was great as was the other food options we tried from the restaurant. All the staff were wonderful. Special call out to the lovely Mila on reception who was so helpful. Kuta is a great base for day trips to the amazing beaches in the surrounding areas. can't wait to return
