The Z Hotel Soho

The location of the hotel is very good but the room size is terribly small.

When I went there the room that I booked was ok but the air con was not working and all the remap rooms were full. Of it was winter than that room would have been ok but we went there in the middle of the summer and it was too hot. Being in that room was like sitting in the sauna 🥵. Me and my man were so sad and we didn’t wanted to come back to the room after the walk outside. But the night shift staff and manager was so great. We were really thankful to them, specially to the night manager he understood our condition and arranged a room with the air conditioning. We had a great sleep and experience. It’s in the center and it’s really a great experience and I will recommend my friend too.

The location is the best in London, the the staff was friendly , the room was extremely small, but very clean, they don't change every day the towels unfortunately . the breakfast was ok , the value for money. outside of the hotel there are many cafe, bars and restaurants.

First time staying in London and the location is brilliant. Cozy, clean and quiet rooms with really nice facilities, just what you need. We didn’t get chance to try the cafe but the food looked good. Very thoughtful of them to gift us with a birthday surprise! It meant alot to us. Thank you!

I have just returned from a 2 night stay in a single room, I booked this as I got a members discount deal (I wouldn't have been able to afford it otherwise!). It is located just off Charing Cross road so handy for Soho and Tottenham Court Rd tube station. The staff are really nice here and members get free hot drinks and the cheese & biscuits in their cafe in the evening which is a nice bonus. The room was small which was fine with me, excellent shower & also had tea tray. It was warm and clean. The bad point was that the bed was so hard - a thin mattress on a solid wooden frame - and I didn't sleep that well & there is also air conditioning machines outside which sounded like a washing machine on a constant spin cycle which was quite loud when you're trying to sleep.

Z Hotel at 17 Moor St. (corner of Shaftesbury Ave. and Charing Cross Road) is a funny little place that felt like home the 3d time I visited this year. The pleasant people who work there are a plus, as are the railroad roomette-sized rooms - as long as you're not too large yourself! Management hit on several items foreign to the fanciers places: 1. The coffee mugs look like the ones in your kitchen, not miniatures. 2. Who doesn't like a free glass of wine at the end of the day? And maybe a simple grilled cheese or pizza? pubsaplenty line the streets, but do your really want to go out again? No! Get your free pour and decide the rest of the evening, maybe watching American sports on SKY! Believe it or not, Uber drivers know where this tiny hotel is....
