Hotel berhampiran Cannon Street station, London

Hilton has been a preferred choice of hotel, but it's my first time checking into Doubletree Hilton, and the expectation mustn't be high. I requested a high floor room with a good heater, but I was given a level 3 instead, and the heater control is rather old school. I wasn't given the toiletries when I stepped into the room and when I asked for it, housekeeping just provided me some items but they are unable to give me the toothbrush kit cause I'm staying in a deluxe room which is the lowest tier. Then the towel and the linen has some stench smell like it hasn't been washed properly. Lucky I was there for 2 nights only. The hotel is located close to 2 metro stations, and tower Bridge is within walking distance. Not cheap for the stay but I'm still pleased with the counter stuff being nice. Still give it a 3.5 to 4 for location and service.

Ia sangat bersih dan bersih. Ia mempunyai tingkap. Kelebihannya ialah ia murah. Lain-lain dengan harga yang sama adalah sama ada ruang bawah tanah atau homestay. Pada asasnya, kebersihan tidak dapat dibandingkan dengan yang ini. Kelemahannya ialah tiada meja dan kerusi, dan tiada yang tinggal. Di samping itu, kerana ia murah, TV perlu dibayar secara berasingan (tentunya, tiada siapa yang mahu menontonnya), dan kopi panas juga dicaj secara berasingan. Di samping itu, terdapat stesen bas di tingkat bawah, tetapi stesen kereta api bawah tanah berada lebih daripada 500 meter jauhnya. Tetapi memandangkan ia jauh lebih murah, ia masih menjimatkan kos berbanding homestay yang setara.

I am not sure why the Cove has such a high rating, but for me staying there was regretful. I stayed for 15 nights and one of the primary reasons I chose this place was because of the amenities (washer/dryer) since I was traveling for just over three weeks and wanted to be able to address my laundry upon arrival from Amsterdam. I booked the large studio, which was exactly as pictured, with plenty of space and nicely planned. It was actually perfect in presentation. Issues arose quickly, as the washer/dryer actually would wash clothes, but the dryer component only added two hours onto the cycle and proceeded to drench the clothes with water, leaving them sopping wet. I thought I had done something wrong, so I tried again the next day, but it just repeated. When I contacted the front desk for help, I was told that maintenance was not working that day and that I should utilize the washer and dryers in the basement. After making the trek down there to do so, one of the dryers was broken and subsequently the dryer I used to dry my jeans was also broken after waiting an hour to see if my clothes were dried. That left only one dryer left and that was in use. Needless to say my day was shot dealing with all of this. The second issue was the bed, which was concaved and it was very difficult to be able to sleep. The only way to communicate with the front desk is by either going downstairs to them directly or through the Whatsapp, which is what I did. This was another complication on my day as I spent all day trying to get resolution; which ended up being housekeeping coming by around 4 in the afternoon to change all the bedding; which did help somewhat. They further told me that they would have the maintenance people come to fix the washer/dryer the next day. Despite indications that they did arrive the next day to fix the issue (because a rag was left behind), I was busy with my vacation and waited three more days until I tried to deal with the laundry issue again, only to find out that the problem was never fixed. They never communicated to me that something was done and I just assumed that it had been solved. Thus, here I was again one week into my stay and complained again stating that I was paying for amenities that I specifically wanted and that I was not happy. So they offered to move me to a full one bedroom unit the next day and assured me that they would make sure everything was operational. While the one bedroom was larger I do not feel that it was a better accommodation compared to the room I booked, except for the fact that the washer/dryer actually worked (Hooray!!!). There are some very positive things about this accommodation and that includes the heated bathroom floors, heated towel rack, excellent heating and air conditioning, the size of the room and the location being easily accessible to three underground stations and multiple bus lines. As far as the upkeep of the rooms, I feel that the large studio was slight

So happy when we arrived. Everywhere was clean and quiet. The staff are lovely and made sure that we knew everything we needed to know. The spa facilities are great. You can use the steam room, sauna, pool and the jacuzzi which I loved so much, also use rhe gym and pay for spa treatments which is reasonable priced. The shower in the room wow was lovely and hot wnd powerful. I spent so long in there i didnt wanna get out lol. This was a well deserved time for us both. We will defo be coming back in the future. Easy to find as well. There is also a parking g place round the corner which was not far at all a 1 min walk back to the hotel. Weatherspoons was next door also. Thank you all for a wonderful stay. Fantastic hotel overlooking Hyde Park Corner. Great service and everything you want/need in a London hotel. We used the 25 m pool and there was only one other person using it at the same time as us. We felt the whole stay was one of our better ones in London.

Very nice Hotel in a good location with good tube access for popular sightseeing attractions. . The hotel was very clean and tidy and the rooms were very nice and spacious too. Breakfast was very good with a good variety to choose from. Would definitely stay here again

The rooms were very loud- as other reviews have mentioned. We stayed in the pods and they were clean and cool with the changing coloured lights! The beds were super hard and pillows extremely flat- but pretty standard for a hostel. They also had no clean towels for the first day we were there. The location was amazing. It wasn't the most friendly hostel and felt hard to meet people- but over all, worth the cost! Also, THEY HAVE AC!! huge bonus points for that.. and considering the incredible location and cheap cost, I'd recommend.

Saya tidak tahu di mana tetamu itu berlari keluar dan meletakkannya di dalam bilik saya. Semalam saya sangat terkejut melihat tuala ini di dalam bilik mandi! Fikirkan tentangnya apabila anda menempah bilik!

Excellent location next to Tower Hill tube station. Very efficient checkin and checkout. Executive Room was well well appointed and spotlessly clean. Great breakfast buffet. Restaurant dinner menu choice is adequate. Great gym and spa facilities. Overall, excellent hotel.

I find spa days odd if this is normal. Maybe this is a me thing. £70 to sip camomile tea in a not very warm room with the lights down (I could have murdered a coffee but they didn’t “do” coffee in the spa. Coming from a luxury hospitality background and it being a high-end hotel, I would have thought someone might have offered me one); the jacuzzi again was not all warm and nice so my muscles still wouldn’t relax and then there is a steam room with eucalyptus. The sauna is separated m/f so i didn’t bother because I went with a male friend and the point was to chat… we ended up having more tea. There is no swimming pool but there is a gym. Fair enough if you want that. My starters had no flavour at all. The main was nice and right for the moment and my Irish coffee was delicious. The building wowed me and everything is in very good condition. Staff are down to earth, smart and friendly. The set menu was worth doing. I don’t know how this competes with other hotels but had the spa been warmer I would certainly have been happier. I feel £70 for that part of the day is money for old rope. When I think about it we spent about £20 an hour to be in a nice building and have a £30 two course meal. I think that’s quite a lot. The spa could do with some personality, warmth, music… having tables cleared more often (it wasn’t busy)… something other than going room to room in a towling robe.
