What an amazing hotel and and even better experience! Check in was super smooth and very friendly reception team. Our room was just amazing, the bed was ultra comfortable with the usual high quality linens which made for a perfect night’s sleep. Lots to do in the hotel even if it is just sitting in the lounge seats watching the world go by in the bustling Leicester Square. Cocktail choices were very unique and perfectly blended, food was just as good with some amazing dishes. There was a Souk inspired evening when we were there which we loved as the music was great to listen to whilst having a few drinks. I loved the breakfast being à la carte as opposed to a buffet as the service is much more personable. Can’t wait to come back!

This hotel was overall a good experience. Considering the price tag some things were not as good as expected though: - The location. Although it is very central located Leicester Square does have a share of homeless people walking around and heavy ambiance in the late night. Nevertheless considering connections is as perfect as it can be in central London. - The rooms are a little small but nicely appointed. - The bathroom has a weird design with a small bathtub. Really liked the toto toilet. - Too much light in the room in the night. The curtains don't close completely and are a lot of mirrors reflecting the light troughout the room. - The hotel is big with several common areas and at reception there is no clear explanation... for instance I didn't understand if the courtyard was open or not. Nevertheless the gym, pool and spa were very straightforward and well appointed. - I think it is not acceptable the in room open ear cleaners (cotonete) for hygienic reasons. - Lights over the bed too strong. - Room cleaning could be better. The highlights of the stay: - The central location besides the inherent problems. - Lively but yet organized and not loud entrance lobby and bar. - The complimentary soft drinks and snacks at the secondary lobby. - Miller Harris bath products overall very good except the body lotion which the smell was harsh and totally off. - Gym and pool. - Overall very quiet room and halls. So would I return there? Honestly only if I really need to stay at Leicester Square. For me it was good but not amazing stay, with an overall feeling of pretensious mood and too expensive for what it was. If you want a really luxurious expericence I would recommend to search elsewhere but at a discount this would be a nice stay. For the amount of hotels in central London this one just didn't excited me enough.. I would prefer to return to Pan Pacific for instance.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the service provided by your hotel during my recent stay. As you are aware, I had booked a twin bed room at your esteemed five-star hotel in central location. However, upon arriving at the reception, I was informed that the room was not available. Instead, I was given a room with one double bed for two adult males. This was unacceptable and completely contrary to my booking request. As a guest, I expect the hotel to honor my booking and provide the room that I had reserved. Moreover, I trusted your hotel to provide top-notch service given the reputation and standard of a five-star hotel. This level of incompetency and disregard for the customer's booking request is not what I expected and is unacceptable. Therefore, I am requesting a refund for the room that I stayed in as it did not meet my expectations or fulfill my booking requirements. I would appreciate it if you could process the refund as soon as possible. I hope that in the future, your hotel will ensure that such incidents do not occur and that all guests receive the room that they have reserved. Thank you for your attention to this matter. The Haymarket is not a grand hotel by any means, but that’s just fine by us. It is extremely comfortable, with excellent service, large, well-organized rooms (even in the lowest category), luxurious bathrooms with powerful showers, and wonderfully inviting common areas. The staff is always pleasant and seem to like working there. The location is ideal for us - easy access to the theatres, restaurants and shops of Soho and Mayfair, and to the Mall, Green and Hyde Parks for morning runs. Staying there is akin to visiting a friend who has eclectic and excellent decorating taste - and a wonderful 55 foot long swimming pool in the basement. Per our request, we were given the same room we had stayed in last July - and it was ready for us when we arrived at 1pm. Sadly the light we had enjoyed through the large windows during our last stay was obscured by painting scaffolding and nets - but I suppose one has to keep up appearances…After years of staying at the Berkeley and the Connaught, with occasional unfortunate forays to the Hotel Cafe Royal and the Stafford, we have found a London hotel that works for us; while expensive, it represents good value in the stratospherically priced market.

The hotel is located in a great location, minutes walk from different Tube stations and close to the National Gallery. You can also take a nice walk up the Mall through the garden and towards Buckingham Palace. And you can get to Chinatown within 15 minutes walk and Covent Garden within 10 minutes walk. The hotel is a bit old but they have maintained it well.

Truly an experience. My wife and I brought my mom to London for her 80th birthday, as afternoon tea at The Ritz was still on her bucket list. She had no idea I booked our stay there as well, and the Rolls Royce pickup from the airport. The hotel itself is what you expect, the Luis XVI style common areas and rooms are beautiful, but what really makes the place memorable, are the people. From our first contact with Johan, and our check in with Giacomo, Gavin, Roberto everyone was fantastic throughout our stay. The amount of time that the folks at reception are willing to spend just chatting and sharing stories with you is something you just don't find elsewhere. Many thoughtful interactions with my mom as the whole place seemed to know her big birthday was coming up. It was the experience of a lifetime. Thank you everyone at the Ritz for making it happen.

As a seasoned Diamond Elite traveller with IHG, I thought the rooms were dated and could do with an little upgrade. Simple things like USB plugs, which are pretty standard in most IHG hotels etc. Our initial room was on the 5th floor and we were not advised the A/C was not working. A short phone call with Swathy and she sorted us out with an alternative room….Great service. Just a note to add - you can here the tube line if you’re on the lower floors, so bear that in mind if you’re a light sleeper.

Service was nice. Hotels AC didn’t cool enough. Was fixed at 73 degrees …. My friends room the same. Location was fantastic. I had to leave a day early - wouldn’t get a refund (from trip.con or hotel) even with proof of earlier booked flight. So that was disappointing.

First , they double charge me , second, i didnt get any of my benefits, not early checks in not late check out , i didnt get upgraded, the receptionist ann marry (?polish) was very rude , and races , she shouldnt be a working in hospitality industry, plus the room dont have iron board and iron i order one and they took it ba k on the next day, we ask for adapter/ plug for charging not available, laundry bags not available and when i ask for one they send me a plastic bag like ikea one too big and dirty, On the check in no one welcome me as ihg member or ask me what i like as amenities, unless i ask , during the breakfast , the waitress was shutting at us for sitting outdoor on 2 seat table and we almost blocked the way although there is no partition along the balcony , Order a coffee took over 20 mins , the manager ( polish guy as well) very arrogant and rude he was saying i have 10 coffee orders and we had to wait for how long he dont know fruit was old and flies all over, my friend get hair in his omelette, i ask for a bottle of water they said its chargeable , they serve a tap water and they add ice with their hands , the same manager was washing cups of coffee with his hands and water only …. Health department should close this restaurant. Corridors are dirty, U had to wait for elevator for 10 mins every time u wanna go up and down For the money and the price i could stay in many better hotels never again to such place IHG should be ashamed and remove this hotel from their booking system

Excellent location and brilliant staff. They are given excellent service during our stay. Breakfast are delicious. Labone makes our stay comfortable. All lifts are in opposition. We had evening meal also .Highly recommend. Come back again.

Location and service are some highlights. The nice big bed was pleasing. Room could use some TLC though - Broken/off hinge cupboards, a lamp didn’t work with any switches, a switch socket was also slightly lose. Mirror was in a random area, with little lighting. Breakfast opens at 7, I was there at 7:10 and hot breakfast items were already on the colder side.

Location is really ideal if you want to be in the hustle and bustle of Piccadilly Circus and Chinatown. However, be prepared to have absolutely nothing provided except towels and pillows. We don’t really mind it but the price of room doesn’t really justify other than paying for location. The location of the hotel is amazing, you can easily walk to many attractions. Right in the middle of the theaters, you can easily go around. The service was really nice, the front desk staff super polite and friendly, except for one guy that you can’t tell he doesn’t enjoy the job at all. The room was pretty nice, small but cozy. Overall a good experience!
