Great location and friendly staff. Spent one night with the family and breakfast was exceptional. Very clean. Only one issue is the exhaust fan in one of the bathroom wasn’t working. Strongly recommend this hotel.

Pleasant, well appointed, and spacious room and bathroom. Mattress and pillows were comfy and clean (king bed). The housekeeping is a bit iffy--the laminate floor was grimy, and there was a bobby pin on the carpeted portion of the room. Bathroom was very clean, but needs some work--there were rust-like deposits in two corners of the shower (not mold!) Front desk staff as efficient and pleasant. Hot breakfast was OK but somewhat mundane (egg dishes, sausage, cheese omelets, waffles, pastries, cereal, yogurt, etc.) Only basic black tea / decaf tea for tea lovers. Some fresh fruit but no bananas. Breakfast is over by 9 am even on weekends, which is somewhat unusual. Location near downtown on one-way street. Parking (for a fee) in the garage next door. Good but not great value. Good option for our two night leisure stay (two couples)

Don’t stay here. It was relatively new but the service is absolutely atrocious. We had to call and ask for our HAND SOAP to be refilled multiple times and they hung up on us! Soap never showed up. Checking in was a nightmare, took forever and they never gave us basic info like when is breakfast, etc. Stay elsewhere. You can do better for your money than this!

Terrible misrepresented hotel. Terrible unsafe questionable neighborhood. Did not feel safe staying here with my family so we left and stayed elsewhere in a better neighborhood. Photos are not up to date and we woukdnt trust leaving our vehicle parked outside overnight.

Stayed here with my husband. The exterior and interior of the hotel was spotless. It smelled good. It was in a great location to several attractions if you want to walk or drive. It was quiet. The only thing that I did not like was the parking. It may have been 20 spots. If you didn't get a spot, you have to go to a parking garage or take your chances parking at a meter. Parking at the meter is free after 6pm and all day Sunday. Now, the towels provided by the hotel need to be replaced. The drying towels at least. They were very worn, some with holes, strings hanging. They need to be cut up and used as cleaning towels at this point. The staff was very kind and personable. However, I only noticed one staff member at the desk with a Holiday inn shirt on. Her name was K, I think. Or at least that is what the other gentleman called her that was working. Great staff, just was not in uniform. Yes I would stay here again.

Our hotel stay was awesome. This hotel has a great location in downtown Louisville if you have a car--a block from the Louisville Slugger Museum. But without a car, it was a trek to the other side of downtown. When we arrived the staff was friendly. Our room was very clean and comfortable (but not perfect--there were a couple of outlets that did not seem to work and the iron did not heat). We got great nights of sleep. The breakfasts in the morning were good--Holiday Inn Express standard--pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, cereal, etc. The parking is great--the garage next door is clean and well maintained and I felt very safe even at night. The best part was that it was only $20/night. Would strongly recommend for anyone staying who has a car.

We stayed downtown one week. It was a nice room and centrally located to all the things that we wanted to do. Quiet and safe location. Room is clean. The cons were you will have to pay to park in garage next door and the garage is always packed. You will have to ask for extra towels/wash cloths every night if you have a family for 4+. They only give you 3x.

I was completely disappointed!! Make sure you understand that you have to pay $20 a day for parking. The parking is across from the hotel and is not connected to the hotel. The loading area is small and they don’t have luggage carts. It rained.

This hotel is very supportive of the Children’s Hospital and U of L Hospital. They are support stays for families that have premature babies and families with loved ones in hospitals. I stayed here for a month and the staff were amazing and the rooms very clean. This hotel is in walking distance to countless spots for entertainment and waterfront! Definitely recommend this place !
