Ulasan Sonesta Maho Beach All Inclusive Resort Casino & Spa

This is my second time staying at Sonesta Maho. I stayed here right before the pandemic started and I had an enjoyable stay. This time however was not it. Housekeeping was very laxed in servicing the rooms. I encountered that other guests were experiencing the same. Housekeeping would either not service the rooms or take an extremely long time to tend to them. If they did manage to service the room, it was not full service: no fresh towels, no new toiletries like soap or tissue, etc. Then to add insult to injury, the pool towel desk has a supervisor who is very rude and caters to Caucasian guests. After this stay, I will not return to Sonesta Maho.

Nice hotel The buffet wasn’t what I expected it’s the name type of food . I find the hotel at least should have the rooms them ready a lil earlier. I did not see any snacks by the way like chips biscuits ect…

I only stay for one night . However I received Awesome customer service. I was allowed to get lunch before my official check in time that was 3pm. . The young lady at the baggage area was professional. After checking in and receiving my bottle water and champagne. I was told where to go but got a bit confused . Nonetheless i asked where the buffet was and was escorted to the buffet restaurant by a gentleman from the beach where you get your towels. When I got to the buffet a young man greeted me with a nice smile and offered me something to drink letting me know that the restaurant was closed and will be opening shortly. This to me was awesome customer service. I ask let him a few questions as it relates to Wi-Fi and he was able to tell me. My only issue was I checked you cannot gain access to Wi-Fi until you are assigned a room number. I checked in at 12 am and my room was going to be ready until 3pm I had no access to Wi-Fi and couldn’t call me family to let them know I was safe. There should be a way to gain Wi-Fi access before you are assigned a room. A one time access 30 minute access Other than that everything else was great . The workers at the Buffett was awesome especially a young man with braids that worked the morning and evening shift night of the 8/7/23.

Op 15 minuten lopen van het vliegveld. Bijna allemaal zeer vriendelijke en professionele medewerkers. Kamers zien er erg mooi uit.

沙灘不錯，可見飛機起降，包三餐的形式適合我這樣的懶人，很省心，退房當天除了房間不能進，外面餐廳和咖啡館，小吃點，酒吧，都還可以自由出入。

Book your stay here. It’s about 5 mins drive from the airport. The beach is located on the property and if you’re an adventurer then you can watch the planes take off and the wind plunge you into the ocean. It’s conveniently located in the city area that you can walk to the local market. The staff is very friendly, especially the bell men and front desk staff. We had a great time and will stay here in the future. The only thing I would change is, more island variety food choices.

Most employees were rude or had a face , one day it rained no type of entertainment for the guests whatsoever , mind you i was on vacation with kids … i literally wanted to pull every strand of hair…the lining of the pool seemed to be coming out and the corners of the ONLY POOL seemed old and deteriorated i dont think id be back

Great Staff, delicious food, clean rooms & a lot of entertainment on the *****. It was my 5th stay at Sonesta Maho & I will always be a returning guest! Thank you for a great stay team! :)

Food was not as good as I wood expect and people, mainly in the restaurants were not giving a good service. The hotel has no beach and do not hace enough chairs around the pool which is also small for the size of resort.

I found that the food and service was good overall. The resort does not have enough shady areas when to sunny or you will burn, and you have to go extra early every morning for a spot. Not enough entertainment daily and the entertainment team tried their best to make it fun. Pool area is dominated by families and even the swim up bar that should be an adult area has too many children hanging out around the bar making it not to fun if you are a couple or on your own. Beach was pretty and there is some sand and it can get washed away after a few windy days. Not a great resort if you want to lay out on a beach for your vacation, although you can sit up on a terrace like area that overlooks the ocean. Gym was small but good and break from annoying families. Our room was facing the maho ***** and was great to see planes and cruise ships come in for the day. At night difficult to see clubs/bars blast music until 4:30 am making it impossible to sleep good on the weekend. Week days still loud but not as bad and people on street maybe drunk shouting and howling in the middle of the night. Saw a man get arrested from our room patio that was staying across at another hotel. ****** was close and in lobby but did not see any hand pays, only tiny wins so not too lucky. Room air conditioner did not regulate so you would need to turn off when too cold or when room was hot, and would need to get up out of bed. St. Maartan is beautiful so it makes up for a lot of these minor annoyances.

Buffet and restaurants on property were average. Reservations not required but filled up quickly for dinner.

I was there for 4 nights and 5 days the 3 out of the four nights there was no hot water and shower kept turning off.

The food was very good and the staff was always friendly and helpful. We were in room 666. It was quite noisy with some sort of equipment room right next to us and noisy on the balcony with machinery always running down below.

Great place for the value. Lacked options at restaurants, not lots to choose from but food was good! Most staff were very friendly & helpful. Loud music from the adjacent rooftop bar Friday & Saturday nights but nothing a noise machine didn't help! ****** across the street & a few machines on-site are fun of you like to gamble! Overall, no real complaints! Would go nack! Taking a $2 bus can get you anywhere on the island whichnos great!
