Hotel Mesra Haiwan Peliharaan di Lugano

A luxury hotel with an ancient style, good maintenance in a public area, we stayed in the ancient building, a clean room but furniture needs updating. Breakfast is a wonderful meal but without vegetables, very limited for such a luxury hotel, the staff is great, we had dinner not so special for the prices.

would like to inform you that I was subjected to a disrespectful attitude by the receptionist, which is completely unacceptable and disrespectful, and contains unacceptable racism. On Friday night 1 September at 23:35, I went to buy a bottle of water and they are people in reception. I asked them for permission to pass before them, so they smiled at me welcoming, but the receptionist refused to pass me and asked me in an unkind way to wait . There was another woman waiting, and after the customer finished his check in, the woman looked at me and allowed me to pass before her because it was only a bottle of water, but the receptionist shouted at me and refused to pass my order with bad way!!! . I left the water and he insisted that I wait even though the woman repeated her words and told him that she allowed me to pass because it was a bottle of water... I strongly object to this inappropriate attitude of your employee..

The hotel have been chosen due to its price and location. The price is about 160€ per night including city tax. The location is very useful. I would also mention very decent breakfast with orange juice, yogurt accompanied by modern coffee-machine. There’s a really big TV in the room with Netflix. Wi-Fi is well working. But unfortunately that all about the advantages. Further is more about the disadvantages.. The hotel definitely needs a serious renovation. I have never seen a ventilator operated by RC. The ventilator can suddenly switch on the light in the middle of the night. Mattress is extremely soft. It’s recommended to change. I’ve found the mold on the ceiling on the bathroom up to my surprise. See fotos. Extremely noisy. A lot of noise comes from the pedestrian street as well as from the maid. I wouldn’t recommend this property for relax staying.

This is a beautiful hotel, conveniently located at the bottom of the cable car giving easy access to/from the railway station. The hotel provided a Ticino ticket meaning that the cable car could be used for free. The staff are extremely polite and helpful. I would love to stay there again in the future.

Large room, ikea furniture, nice balcony view Unfortunately under renovation now, so no windows can open, and even 4th floor is noisy at night due to road side traffic Great staff, excellent bar and breakfast quality and service.

The hotel is well-positioned on a quiet street, just 100 m from the Mount San Salvatore cable car and within easy walking distance from the Paradiso port on the Lugano lake. They seem to have a clever cooling system. Air conditioning works while you're out of the room and when the key is plugged in, it is you who control it. Rooms are clean but the walls are painted in ugly dark colors. Bathroom is efficient but not fully friendly. Breakfasts are decent but not more than that. Just one coffee machine installed in the dining hall. Sometimes you have to wait after 1-2 persons. Reception staff are friendly. The hotel is more geared to short stay business rather than for more demanding touristic stay.

Vorzüglich im Ganzen! Absolut wundervolle Lage (nur mit Taxi erreichbar) ob bei Tag oder bei Nacht! Ein wundervolles DeLuxe Zimmer mit Blick auf den See! Die Grösse, die Materialien von höchster Qualität und feinstem Design. Essen im Bistro ausgezeichnet, da voll ausgebucht im Restaurant! Leider nur eine Nacht a.Gr. von viel Arbeit auch in Lugano (Besuch einer super Vorstellung im Arte und Kultur Center). Fitness/Sauna waren leider noch geschlossen, aber Privat Spa war buchbar vor Abreise am Sonntagmorgen...gute Alternative. Die Gärten rundum himmlisch! Das Team war super professionell, ausserordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit. Freue mich und träume jetzt schon von meinem nächsten Besuch in der Villa Leopolde...herzlich empfehlenswert für Geniesser des Feinem und Gutem... Denise Welten in Zürich

Hotel pangsapuri yang sangat bagus, anda boleh memasak dan memikirkannya. Bas terletak betul-betul di sebelah hotel apabila anda meninggalkan stesen kereta api, dan ia mengambil masa kurang daripada lima minit untuk berjalan kaki. Harga PS juga sangat berpatutan, saya tidak pernah menginap di hotel dengan harga yang rendah dan perkhidmatan yang baik di Switzerland, disyorkan

I notice this hotel hasn't been reviewed for 2 years, which is a pity, as it's an excellent option in Lugano. We stayed there for only one night (unfortunately) as part of our Grand Train Tour of Switzerland and found it to be perfectly located, near the centre of the city and next door to the furnicular station. Do not walk down from the railway station to the hotel, catch the furnicular at the station and on arriving at the end, the hotel entrance is 50 metres away. The room we had was a great size, overlooking the furnicular as it turned out and had plenty of space for suitcases, without tripping over them. A safe, free wi-fi, air con and a fridge were provided, as well as tea and coffee making facilities at a small charge. The one major flaw was the small shower, notwithstanding the excellent temperature and water pressure. It was difficult to turn around for almost any size adult and DON'T drop the soap! Breakfast was cold options only, which is fine by us, but it was satisfactory only, without being anything special, which was a pity. There was a nice lounge area with comfortable chairs and an internal garden setting outside, although I'm not sure if that was part of the hotel. Silvia at reception was so helpful and considerate. As guests, we each received a complimentary block of Swiss chocolate.
