Hotel di Lymm

I loved this hotel, the location, the room, the food and all but one of the staff and this is why I rated it a 3. We arrived at the hotel early and knew we couldn’t take the room over until 3pm, so we were told we could use the bar, we sat with wine in the beautiful gardens and the exploring began, to our surprise we found a trim trail track had a go and realised how old we are, pretty quickly. How was an amazing member of staff very knowledgable and helpful, like I said the food was good. Now I hope the manager reads this and takes some action, at around 5pm my other half was chilling after a shower and I was stood making a drink, when we booked in at 3pm everything was done on line, if there was an issue, check the computer or ring the room, anyway at around 5pm I heard a bleep and an unknown male walked into my room, when I challenged him he said he was the late turn receptionist and he came to check if the room had been taken over. I was angry this should never happen what if my other half was alone in the shower or valuables were left out and we were not in the room, I was determined this wouldn’t spoil my break, I rang reception to check and complain, the same male answered the phone and confirmed it was him then hung up on me. Undeterred we did enjoy our evening and the next days breakfast but made a complaint with the female receptionist in the morning. If this incident hadn’t of happened which is a security issue I would have awarded 4.5 stars.

Very new hotel rooms. Massive space. We had kids so plenty rooms for them and the baby cot. Seperate toilet and bathroom which I will say is great design for more than 1 person using the room. Seperate tea making area, looks delicate for takeaway preparation with a sink as well, which is bonus for if anyone didn't like to use the sink in the toilet for make tea or wash cutlery. It will be better to have a little fridge, as proper tea drinker would like to have fresh milk. My kids and hubby had breakfast, which is reasonable price £10 per person, they rate it easy 7/10, coffee let the breakfast down. On site parking also very good value £14per night. Location is excellent, very near to piccadillly train station, walking distance to Central Manchester. Special mention, excellent staffs! Everyone is very friendly and helpful! Genuinely nice, saw my husband taking 3 kids to breakfast, offer helps and make sure he and the kids alright. Hightly recommended!

The hotel's location is convenient for accessing the city center, which was a definite plus. However, I was disappointed by the outdated interior of the hotel. The lights is broken. Additionally, the staff's attitude left much to be desired. When I inquired about a broken light, their response was dismissive and lacked hospitality. Saying that’s it’s normal, their main ceiling lights is not functional. Furthermore, when I asked for recommendations on where to purchase slippers since the hotel didn't provide them, the staff's response was unhelpful, simply replying: “just go out to find a nearby shop, any shop that has slippers.”

Terribly noisy. Can hardly sleep every night since moving in. Facing directly to pub street of *** Village. People keep shouting, yelling and singing from midnight towards dawn each day. The hardware of the room is not in good maintenance condition such as hob and bedside lamp as they do not function properly.

I went for my son’s graduation ceremony. The location is great. It has bus service just one minute walk outside To bus station. And bus ticket is 2 pounds for one. Very convenient. After ceremony ，we go for a meal ， first choice is Chinese food 。 China town is very close too. Three minutes walk from hotel. I definitely recommend to all my friends and I will use it again in the future. Good value for the price.

I stayed here last year and gave it 5 stars We have dropped a star for two reasons If you want a hot drink from the bar you cannot put the charge on the room and have to pay separately at the machine this is very complicated and slow if you are tired and I required help from two helpful members of staff Also our room on the first floor was very noisy we could hear everything next door constantly However this is still an excellent example of the brand and all the staff are brilliant

Lovely hotel staff was friendly and helpful throughout the room its self was okay there was a few little ******* that could be improved but didn't affect our stay for one night the bed was super comfy defo would stop again if we was back in that area 😊

Front desk was welcoming and friendly Price was best for city centre only being 20ish minutes walk away Room was okay, quite spacious but TV didn’t work, heater was not on when walked in, and there were mould on ceilings due to probably water leakages from toilets above. It was quite bland but can’t complain too much because price reflected this. However, would stay again for a cheap night in Manchester
