The staff is rude and uncooperative, especially their operation manager , a very malicious and provocative person. The hotel is not 4 stars at all. Before and after the hotel is a construction area, which makes it a very dirty place. The restaurant smells rancid and the food is bad. We could not eat a bite, even the water glasses smelled bad. The session The interior and exterior are lousy, and the disaster is that the beach and the sea are not beautiful, as if you are in a poor village that is not in the Maldives. Our children’s room was dirty and full of insects, and when we told them they just sprayed insecticide and caused our children allergies, the balcony is not soundproofed and all the noise and drums on the beach and the street you hear while you are inside the room, we could not sleep That night, one hour, even the voices of people in the entrance can be heard, and the curtains are not light-proof, the bed and pillows are very bad, we stayed one night and asked to checke out early and that they have to return to us part of the payment of the remaining four nights and for two rooms .we checked out to find out that they deducted all the booking and the high tax and the 5 breakfasts with the green tax with careLess and disregards from their manager . It was the most terrible hotel in Maldives with the biggest lose

Themiya and Ruwan, the friendly faces at the front office, welcomed us with open arms and ensured that every aspect of our visit was seamless. Their professionalism and willingness to assist were truly appreciated, and they went above and beyond to ensure that all our needs were met. On the culinary front, Nipuna and Janith, the talented chefs at Arena Beach Hotel, took our dining experience to a whole new level. Their culinary creations were nothing short of exquisite, and each meal was a delightful journey of flavors. From delectable breakfasts to romantic dinners by the shore, Nipuna and Janith's culinary skills added an extra layer of magic to our honeymoon. The accommodations were luxurious, offering breathtaking views and all the comforts one could ask for. The pristine beaches and turquoise waters of the Maldives provided the perfect backdrop for romance and relaxation. We stayed as a family for 3 nights in the quadruple room which was spacious enough for 2 adults and 3 children to sleep comfortably. The quadruple rooms do not face the sea. The condition of the room is excellent and the hotels seems to be well maintained. Service wise, the staff are generally polite. The breakfast had limited options. Be warned, the cats literally dine with you in the restaurant and it appears to be a problem across the island. The beach is nice although it is not maintained as it should be. There were plenty of sun beds available. Water sports are very reasonably priced compared to average prices in Maldives. Overall, pleasant stay.

Сразу о минусах. Холодильник не работал, хотя видно что он новый. Предложили воспользоваться холодильником внизу отеля. Отель предоставляет лежаки по запросу, в действительности есть неприятные нюансы, на пляже вас либо не находят либо предоставляют другие за которые местные торговцы просят чтоб вы купили коктейль. В номере есть телевизор, но смотреть по нему совсем нечего, прям совсем- пару местных каналов. Тв не смарт что странно для отеля 21года. Остальное все хорошо! Персонал очень старается. Вокруг все новенькое. Сам маафуши не лучший вариант чтоб на нем полностью провести отпуск. Но отлично подойдет как перевалочный пункт между островами или если нужно бюджетно переждать что то в этой стране.

Amazing hotel ! Near everything! Rooms r clean n efficient! Not a lot of frills but who spends there tropical vacation in a room ! lol Serves its purpose w great complementary Maldivian breakfast 🍳, hot water 💦 cool a/c n free refillable water bottles plus coffee , tea 5 min walk to anywhere on island 🏝️ PS - I jogged everyday round the island it took 10 min Looking for affordable hotel ! W basic necessities, clean ! This is your place Bonus they provided speedboat pick up from airport n drop off $25 , hotel employee meets u at boat dock n grabs your luggage

因為是新開的所以選擇了這家，總體來説很乾凈了，除了毛巾老舊有污漬（居民島民宿普遍現象），房間很乾凈有個小陽台有桌椅，可以晾衣服，早餐是酒店員工做的本地餐，現坐現做不是自助，簡餐一份還挺好吃的，不難吃。這家服務很好所有工作人員都很友善，還能美金換本地貨幣，匯率很好1:18！不用在機場換匯人擠人排隊，民宿老闆幫我換了最美貨幣（1000MVR鯨鯊紙幣）機場和碼頭都有人來接的。

Como Cocoa Island was amazing -- in a very rarified air of hotels I've visited. The resort works hard to encourage you to relax, and all of our stress was ****** away during our 6-night stay. The rooms are immaculate and large, and the amenities in the rooms (soaps, bath salts, slippers, etc) were all very high quality. So was the quality of twice-daily cleans. There is world class snorkelling literally just off the rooms. I've heard the diving is also amazing from fellow guests, but didn't partake as I was celebrating a coming baby with my pregnant wife who obviously couldn't dive. Staff are, without exception, lovely. Everyone we met - from staff in restaurants, to the spa, to folks cleaning rooms and tending to gardens, etc - were kind and extremely polite. They walk a fine line between letting you have your privacy, while also showing interest in guests. Particular shout out to the barman, who told us he'd been at the island 11 years, and was so sweet and gifted with drinks. The real highlight was the food. The menu is expansive, but everything is very high quality. The food felt Michelin quality, and portion sizes are generous. We did the half board (breakfast and dinner included), and this was plenty for us as breakfasts run late (until 10:30am) and the hotel provides lots of fresh, high quality fruit.

El hotel Kaani Village forma parte de una cadena hotelera en la isla. El trato ha sido excelente desde el recibimiento, donde no tuvimos que llevar las maletas en ningún momento. La primera persona con la que tuvimos contacto fue con Magic, que nos dio su número de teléfono para cualquier cosa que pudiera pasar. La habitación tiene todas las comodidades: baño amplio, cama grande, enchufes, wifi, aire acondicionado, ventilador, mucha luz artificial y natural, así como acceso a la piscina interior. La playa está a menos de 2 minutos andando. El hotel ofrece todos los servicios directamente, sin terceros. Nosotros hemos hecho excursiones en las que hemos nadado con tiburones, tortugas, hemos visto el arrecife de coral, hemos jugado con las mantas raya y hemos comido en islas desiertas. Además los monitores que nos han tocado han tenido una atención impecable. Hemos coincidido con gente de muchas culturas y se nota el respeto que hay en general. El precio por excursión es de 30-50$ por persona, lo cual es muy asequible teniendo en cuenta que pasas gran parte del día fuera y te incluyen la comida. También ofrecen deportes acuáticos. Nosotros no hemos podido hacerlos porque nos ha faltado algo de tiempo en la isla. Hemos estado aquí 5 noches. En cuanto a la comida, nos hicieron una mejora respecto de lo que habíamos contratado y todas las comidas (desayuno, mediodía y cena) han sido en el Kaani Palm, que está en primera línea de playa. También nos dieron acceso sin mayor coste a la piscina infinita que tienen en la planta 9. Las vistas son increíbles. La playa que está enfrente es privada y sólo pueden acceder los residentes del hotel. En esta playa se puede ir en bikini sin problemas. Hay acomodadores que se encargan de todo lo que te pueda faltar: tumbona, bebidas, comida... Cabe destacar que la isla es una mezcla entre varias cadenas hoteleras y casa particulares de gente que reside aquí, por lo que no es tan artificial como si fuera una isla desierta con un resort. Hay muchos gatos que están muy humanizados, son buenos y se dejan acariciar. En general la experiencia ha sido muy positiva. Si tuviéramos que recomendar el viaje sólo aumentaríamos 1 o 2 días la estancia para poder hacer lo poco que nos ha faltado.

PLEASE READ THIS BEFORE BOOKING AND AVOID TO SPOIL YOUR HOLIDAYS!!! We spent 3 nights there and were treated as if we were money. We went to eat at the hotel restaurant and asked for fresh juice, they gave us very tasteless mango juice and told us that mango in maafushi is not sweet, we had the same juice in another part of the island and it was as we expected. Every time we sit down they insistently ask us if we want water, and even if we say no, they leave the water on the table and don't include it in the bill, as soon as we get up they run after us saying we have to pay for the water, obviously we told them that the water was still closed on the table and we didn't pay. They even charge a 10% service charge like everywhere else but they never bring us change and keep it for themselves. They cook without head cover or gloves and the food was of very poor quality. We asked to join an excursion at the reception 30 minutes before it started and they told us it was not possible to organise it, so we went to the beach, where there is a kaani beach, asked them directly and they organised it for us right away (they were very angry about the attitude of the receptionist and told us that receptionist did not even want to make a phone call). The night was a circus: very loud music from 9pm until 1am and it was not possible to sleep in the room or talk on the balcony because of the noise. Room service did not replace towels, beach towels or toilet the day of departure they told us that some beach towels were missing, so we had to waste time explaining that we hadn't received them the day before. And obviously they asked us to leave a good review in booking, this makes me think they think we are stupid. Avoid this place.

NEVER EVER AGAIN!!! I deeply regret recounting a disheartening array of issues during our stay at the hotel: Upon arrival, our assigned room was not only in a state of severe disrepair but also shockingly unclean. Despite a room change, persistent problems like a leaking toilet and malfunctioning air conditioning plagued our experience. Maintenance interventions, notably during planned fishing excursions, only heightened our frustration. Things that were mentioned in the folder are not even true, plus they lied about the constitution that was going on above our room, they promised that it will stop in the weekend but never did. Plus what bothered me was that the towels are not fresh and hygiene is far far from the norm. Dinner, scheduled at 20:00, was hindered by our aversion to spicy Indian cuisine, and the sleeping conditions were marred by disruptive noise, slamming doors, and inconsiderate fellow guests. Efforts to engage with the director for resolution were met with disappointment, as our concerns remained unaddressed. Scheduled activities faced setbacks, with delays and cancellations affecting a half-day excursion and a fishing trip due to a broken engine and adverse weather conditions. The subsequent request for a payment totaling 610 USD seemed disproportionate, leading us to cut our stay short after the second day. The half-day trip to Gulhi Island, conducted on an aged and sluggish boat, offered unappealing surroundings with an unpleasant odor. Promised photographs and videos of our experience were not delivered, intensifying our disappointment. Hand-fishing proved unproductive and induced seasickness amid high waves. Despite these challenges, it's important to commend a responsive woman who earnestly sought to rectify our grievances. Additionally, Mr. K's consistent politeness and assistance, especially in facilitating our return from the hotel to the boat, were notable. Unfortunately, despite these positive interactions, our honeymoon experience concluded on an unsatisfactory note, leaving us profoundly disheartened and dissatisfied with the overall quality of our stay.
