Stay away ! Terrible rooms that are wayyyyy way too expensive. Its crazy. Beds are not prepared when you arrive. No towels in the rooms. No tables, chairs, tv or ANYTHING. Only bunk-beds. Info-card says breakfast - but this is not included in the already insane room-price. Info-card says dinner is available (buffet or a la carte) from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.. But it was closed at 7 p.m. Staff only partially understands english - but they are friendly.... ! But - as another client stated : the terrace has a nice view 🙂 uncharming furniture and atmosphere- but Nice view. Stay away from StayOkay !

This Hostel has found a way to charge people for every service and provide almost every service except one of the services that can be most important to a tourist; there is no laundry facilities and they don’t have any idea where there is a local laundry facility. Really quite appalling for a backpacker hostel especially one that charges so much for everything else. Terrible mattresses and miserly bathroom facilities!!!!!

We stayed for a weekend. We brought our bikes and could store them in a locked room at the back of the property. You have to pay for parking (10 euro per day) in a public parking garage. We had a double comfort room that looked out over the river. It was just what we expected. The hostel is decorated very cool with a focus on sustainability. We saw guests of all types and ages. We had 2 great nights' sleep. The staff were helpful. We also had breakfast which was nice, just standard breakfast. We would stay here again. Cannot wait to return when the weather is a bit better and make use of the great terrace overlooking the water.

I honestly don’t understand hostels that don’t allow you to use a refrigerator or their microwave. This place has a hotel vibe: a big bar, and it’s clean, but it doesn’t have the amenities that hostels should have to make things easier for travelers — I’d stay at the green elephant which has a kitchen and other amenities, they also have a washing machine. I stayed at both hostels and spent significantly more here to get a private room at stayokay compared to the private room at the other, and remain unimpressed.

I cannot understand how an hostel DOES NOT have a facility like a shared area for meals (or a kitchen). The prices are high for the quality of the service and if you want to eat in the hostel, you got to pay for breakfast, lunch and dinner because there is no place for you to warm up/prepare your food. Plus, no laundry...no laundry and no shared meal area? Never again. The view from the terrace is nice though.

I don’t recommend this place at all! 3 star is for the River view. Had I known this is actually a youth hostel with some “comfort room” I wouldn’t have booked it at this price for my vacation. River view is not but we had to live with youngsters racing in hallway with big noises at 10:40pm every night! When we arrived on the rainy afternoon at about 2:30, the young guy at front desk didn’t check at all and didn’t dare to look at our eyes and told us check in has to be at 3pm! At 3 pm we were checked in by a young lady. I don’t believe they can’t accommodate a 30-minute early check-in for customers who walked in the rain with luggage to get there. No cups for water or anything. No coffee maker.

The hostel facilities are good, close river and bridges and easy to get to from public transportation, lockers are paid for, it feels more like a budget hotel than a hostel as there isn't a kitchen there is a restaurant and there more families etc which stay here

we waren tijdens carnaval voor werk in maastricht, hostel is centraal gelegen. personeel is erg hulpzaam en aardig. alleen de carnaval gasten waren best herrie gemaakt. de prijzen van de bar mag wel wat lager aangezien het geen 5 sterren hotel is. voor de rest was ik niet blij met betaald parkeren voor 12 euro per dag. voor de rest de kamers waren okay

Hele behulpzame en vriendelijke dame achter de balie! Ik heb hier verder een erg prettig verblijf gehad en ik ben zelfs nog heel goed geholpen toen ik vroeg of ik toevallig enkele documenten zou kunnen printen. Ontzettend bedankt Stayokay!
