Hotel berhampiran Exposicion Pintores Plaza Conde Barajas, Madrid

We really enjoyed our stay in Madrid. The room, although not very big, was very well designed and suited our needs perfectly. In addition, staff were always extremely nice and helpful, and the location of the hotel is great: close to attractions such as Mercado de San Miguel, and the metro is just a minute away. Only thing to note is that the walls are a bit thin and sometimes we could hear people talking in the hallway. Overall highly recommended, will return if in Madrid again.

Wij kwamen op donderdag 21 juli aan in het hotel. De kamer was niet schoongemaakt, overal lag vuil. De nachtkasjes waren vies, hadden allerlei verfvlekken. De regendouche was kapot en het water liep langs de achterkant. De douche deuren konden niet dicht, dus de hele badkamer werd nat. Ook de badkamer was smerig en er zaten bruine vingerafdrukken op de muur in de badkamer. De wc bril bewoog als je erop zat. Er lag een joint op het balkon. De kamers waren super gehorig, wij konden onze buren horen douchen, horen praten, horen lopen, zo erg dat je er in de nacht wakker van werd. De haarföhn zat niet standaard in de kamer, deze kon je lenen bij de receptie. Nogal primitief. Ook geen kluisje voor spullen dus geen fijn gevoel. En tot slot hadden we geen airco. Tijdens ons verblijf was het rond de 40 graden. Wij hebben dan ook gekeken of er airconditioning in de kamer zou zijn. Dit zou er zijn. Dit was er niet. Er was een luchtrooster in de kamer waardoor koude lucht zou moeten komen. De regelaar hiervan zat in de gang en regelde de temperatuur van elke kamer. Deze werd blijkbaar vaak uitgezet of op een hogere temperatuur, waardoor wij het weer snikheet hadden. Na 1 nacht hadden wij het gehad en wilden wij eigenlijk zo snel mogelijk weg. Wij hebben dit gemeld bij de receptie en er werd direct in orde gemaakt dat we het geld van de resterende nachten terug kregen. Dit is het enige positieve dat ik over dit hotel te zeggen heb. Er werd ook direct het lijstje langsgegaan van onze opmerkingen en de kamer werd gecontroleerd. Hopelijk wordt er iets mee gedaan.

The rooftop has a fine chill out zone. Great music, good couches, AC so it doesnt get too hot in the summer. The waitress Renalyn is very attentive and served us well. Good vibes overall, we'll be back. 5⭐

I have stayed in many hostels before but at TOC it was the first time I stayed in a shared room ( female only). I was a bit worried as I didn't know what to expect but it turned out great. The hostel is awesome, has friendly staff and is the most modern hostel I have ever stayed in. The rooms were quite nicely soundproofed as you couldn't hear much from the hallways as it is usual for other hostels. In my 6 bed female room, we had 2 toilets, 2 sinks, and 2 showers - it was enough. :) I will be coming back, definitely!

Extraordinaria locación, perfecto para caminar por Madrid y con la estación del metro Tirso de Molina prácticamente en la puerta. Las amenidades cercanas son excelentes, el Teatro Apolo al cruzar la calle, tabernas extraordinarias a unas calles. Las habitaciones, aunque pequeñas, son perfectas para lo que son, que es descansar sin ruido, ni situaciones fuera de control. La estación de Atocha y el parque del retiro estan a distancia caminable, lo recomiendo ampliamente.

Pour notre première visite à Madrid, nous voulions un hébergement en centre ville, avec parking pour notre véhicule. Tout a été parfait. Depuis le courriel pour nous confirmer que notre appartement était prêt ainsi que les procédures d'accès, en passant par l'accueil physique très sympathique, le parking très accessible et un appartement d'une qualité rare dans ce type d'hébergement. L'appartement était suffisamment spacieux. Outre la partie nuit, un coin cuisine, un espace salon et une immense salle de bain avec des équipements plus que complets et le tout d'une propreté irréprochable. Nous avions opté pour le petit déjeuner sur place qui nous a été déposé devant notre porte chaque matin (pas de salle de restauration), sous forme de panier repas très complet, les boissons chaudes étant à préparer par nos soins. Nous avons pu profiter de l'espace piscine très agréable, en terrasse en haut de l'immeuble, mais pas du bar attenant, celui-ci étant malheureusement fermé en raison d'un jour férié (San Isidro). Seul petit bémol, une discothèque située dans la rue peut générer quelques nuisances, non en raison de la musique mais des personnes sorties fumer ou boire un verre et qui discutent parfois bruyamment... Première visite concluante !

I booked a bunk bed in 4-dorm for girls and private bathroom. The bathroom is good with hot showers. Good bed overall with electric socket at bed. Bunk-bed has a curtain for privacy which is nice but would be better if it was full lenght (only until knees). No lockers and no towels (they are rented for 3€) They offer a breakfast for 6€ (didnt get it but its a buffet style and looks pretty complete for the price). Just stayed for the night so couldnt see much, but for what I saw the offer some ammenities and looks pretty good. Also near stations and plaza mayor is just 4min walking

We had SUCH a great time staying at this hotel. We were showing our visiting family what Madrid has to offer and the location of the hotel is perfect for that. Close to the best restaurants and the Sol train station making it really easy to travel around the city. The staff were able to help with anything we needed, and the gifts waiting on our door in the morning were such a great surprise! We love this place and will definitely come back.

Es un hotel de cápsula ideal. En la cápsula entran dos personas, te dejan dos toallas y en ciertas habitaciones el baño es compartido, pero estaba muy limpio. Tenía una kitchenet con dos microondas, café, tes, azúcar, y una pequeña heladera. Además había un bar que se convierte en cine con un proyector. Si la gente habla muy alto, se escucha. Si te toca una cápsula de abajo y alguien se sube a la de arriba, el sonido puede llegar a ser un poco molesto, pero nada del otro mundo.
