Ulasan Crowne Plaza Madrid - Centre Retiro

I was assigned a room on a lower floor near the escalator, and the soundproofing was practically nonexistent. The carpet under the bed was so visibly dirty, it would have been better if it wasn't there at all. The rest of the room was just average, nothing special to comment on.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, only about 15km from the airport, a quick 15-minute drive. You can also walk to the Plaza del Sol, and once you cross through it, you're essentially in the main downtown area. We had the hotel breakfast for €19 per person, which was quite reasonable given the overall prices. There was a great selection of vegetables, fruits, and meats.

Room is spacious, clean and they provided delicious hot chocolate powder! Location was close to many bus stops which makes it quite convenient to go to central but still around 20-30 mins away by bus. Staff is friendly and overall quite enjoyed our stay though!

The hotel was pretty good; they even gave us a free room upgrade! It was the biggest bed we've slept in during our entire trip in Spain!!! However, the shelf in the bathroom felt like it was going to fall during a shower, it wasn't very stable!!! The most important thing was, when we were about to check out, we found a super, unbelievably huge cockroach right at the door!!!!!!!!!!!! That was terrifying!!!!!!!!!! But honestly, it was really good otherwise, they provided 2 bottles of water, and all the amenities like an iron were available!

We had a wonderful stay in Crowne Plaza Centew Retiro. Few min walk to Metro. Ginos restaurant and VIPS restaurant are opposite to the hotel and closed at midnight. The junior suite was great with a King bed and a double sofa bed which are big enough for a family of 4. The hotel provided welcome drinks and snacks in the bar. Free Illy coffee capsules and cookies in the room. The minibar in the junior suite was fully stocked and complimentary. All staff are friendly and nice. Thanks Nuria Pastor and your team for the arrangement which made our journey so special. We would definitely recommend our friends to stay here. The hotel was connected with Voco. We also booked buffet breakfast in Voco hotel with kid price EUR15 and Adult EUR 19. Great variety of food and drinks.

We arrived at the hotel a little after 9 AM. Since check-in isn't until 3 PM here, we paid an extra 60 euros for an early room to recover from our long journey. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic! Way beyond our expectations! The location is excellent, situated in a quiet, authentic local residential area. It's just a few minutes' walk to Retiro Park.

What really stood out at this Crowne Plaza in Madrid was their fried eggs at breakfast – quite delicious! The room itself was tiny; I could barely open my suitcase, but the bathroom was surprisingly spacious. The facilities were a bit dated, but acceptable. It's less than a 10-minute walk to the metro station and quite close to Retiro Park, which is easily reachable on foot.

Very comfortable stay . Good shower plus tea and coffee in room, always a bonus . Helpful, pleasant staff . Would definitely stay here again

Overall nice hotel and good place. Little suggestions to the hotel to make yourself better : 1. Shower room design is poor such that water easily goes out no matter how hard you try to avoid. 2. No USB (both A and C) power socket available in the room. Front desk has no adapters for clients for free (they sell 5 EUR each).

My friend and I arrived in the morning, and we originally just wanted to store our luggage at the front desk. To our pleasant surprise, the staff immediately checked us in! The location is great, and the cleanliness is excellent.

The room is spacious, well-equipped, and the location is excellent. The service is also very thoughtful, and the bed is super comfortable. Highly recommend!

The hotel is good. And 5 mins' walk to Retiro Park. There are some taxi just waiting outside of the hotel door. Even you need check out early, you may easily find a taxi.

The room didn't come with complimentary toiletries, so you'll need to bring your own. There was also no drinking water provided; you have to take an empty bottle to the lobby to fill it up. The elevator doesn't require a key card, which feels a bit unsafe. The location is relatively close to Retiro Park, within walking distance. There's a hidden Chinese convenience store nearby that sells instant noodles. Overall, the hotel's location isn't very convenient, as it's quite far from most tourist attractions.

This hotel offers great value for money and is perfect for families. It's within walking distance of a subway station and restaurants, and only a 15-minute walk to Retiro Park. The front desk staff were friendly. Highly recommended.
