Location: When I booked, I was attracted by its proximity to Retiro Palace. However, since the Palace is closed until 2027, this location loses its appeal. There is a Metro station and few bus stops nearby, but the bus stops are somewhat far, and the bus schedules are unreliable. Using the Metro requires several transfers to get to most places. As for nearby dining options, they are not great—ironically, the best food we had was at the hotel restaurant. Cleanness: We stayed for three nights. On the first day, the cleaner was relatively thorough and cleaned the room properly. However, on the second day, they completely ignored it—no replenishment of tea bags or cleaning of the sink. Since we returned late, we didn’t bother contacting the hotel to address the issue. Service: The service was not bad but nothing exceptional. The only notable feature was their partnership with a taxi company, offering a fixed price for airport transfers. Facility: The refrigerator was broken, but since it was winter, we didn’t have much need for cold drinks. However, discovering the issue at night and being told we could switch rooms the next day was exhausting. Packing and moving all our belongings again was too much trouble. Shouldn't the cleaners check such things during their daily tasks? The room's heating was also highly unstable. Sometimes, it would switch to cold air in the middle of the night, requiring a restart and a wait of several minutes to get warm again. This made it very difficult to sleep comfortably. Overall: Considering it was during Christmas, I understand that hotel prices in Madrid are higher, but the service we received at this hotel was truly disappointing for the price.

This is a fantastic hotel. Our rooms were very comfortable. The hotel is convenient to the central area of Madrid as well as to the train station.

My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Crowne Plaza. The hotel staff are very welcoming and helpful each time we reach out to them. They grant requests as well. The location though not at the center, is very convenient. Easy to go around by foot or take a taxi just outside the hotel.

We stayed here and probably worst stay of life 1. No water if you finish existing bottles even if you ask for it 2. We got robbed outside the hotel on gunpoint- no security at hotel and no staff cane to help untill the robbers left. At 5:30pm someone robbed on gunpoint and hotel just stood there on desk and watched!

The hotel is about 5-minute walk to the subway. It is quite convenient. The room is good. Staffs are friendly.

Bed and room : We 3 persons booked a Junior King Suite. Very spacious. The king-sized bed is very large. The most unexpected surprise is the extra sofa bed. It is almost as big as a king-sized bed. My 18 years old son slept the whole bed. He said it's so comfortable. Parking : the hotel is in a residential area. It's not difficult to find a parking space on the street nearby. We stayed two nights and we could be able to park in a green parking lot both days. It's free. Maybe it's not peak season yet (early June) so much more easy to find a parking lot.

Dear [Hotel Management], I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding my recent stay at the Crown Plaza Hotel in Madrid, which is part of the IHG Group. I believe it is essential for you to be aware of the issues I encountered during my stay. Firstly, upon arrival, I noticed that the air conditioning in my room was not functioning properly. I immediately informed the hotel staff, requesting that the issue be resolved. Despite their assurances that maintenance would be sent to fix it, the problem persisted throughout my entire stay. This lack of attention to a basic amenity greatly affected my comfort and overall experience at your hotel. On the last day of my stay, as the air conditioning remained unresolved, I had no choice but to request that the window be opened for ventilation. It was disheartening to find myself sleeping in a room with an open window at a supposedly four-star hotel. Furthermore, when I approached the receptionist named Coral to discuss the matter and seek a solution, I was met with indifference and a dismissive attitude. Coral stated that since I had already paid for my stay, there was nothing she could do to address my concerns or offer any form of compensation. This lack of empathy and customer service further added to my disappointment. I would like to emphasize that my intention in bringing these matters to your attention is not to seek compensation or refunds, but rather to highlight the shortcomings of my experience and to encourage improvement in your services. As a loyal customer of IHG Group, I have always had high expectations of your brand and its commitment to guest satisfaction. I kindly request that you thoroughly investigate the issues I have raised and take appropriate measures to rectify them. Additionally, I urge you to emphasize the importance of customer service and attentiveness among your staff members, particularly in handling guest complaints. Rooms are clean and spacious and equipped with all the amenities you expect from a crowne plaza hotel Located a bit off the main area but within a 2 min walking distance to the metro (which the main way to travel around Madrid) , 10 min walk to Retiro and within 5-10 min walking there are many bars and restaurants Overall a good choice

We (four of us) stayed in the junior suite. The room is very clean & tidy. The surrounding area is very relaxing. Metro station is just 3 minutes away. Of course, if you want to go to the centre, you have to travel 15-20 minutes by metro.

房間不是特別大,比較乾淨衞生 早餐還可以,服務不錯 離市中心及機場火車站都不會遠 酒店門口有的士打車非常便捷 整體還算可以
