We rarely write a bad review for hotel / restaurant / service as we appreciate how difficult businesses can be. However, we are going to highlight that our four-night stay hasn’t been great. First of all, we were allocated on the 7th floor where it has access to an open roof top bar at night. We have been woken up the first two evenings where drunk customers walked pass knocking on our door, speaking / laughing loudly and with all night long music playing until about 2am. We made a complaint to the reception who assured us that there’s security guard presented but having someone knocking at our door at 1am were just simply not tolerable, especially we are jet lagged and not able to go back to sleep after being woken up. We were then offered to move to another floor, with a small room, which was quiet. Overall both rooms were very basic and not particularly clean. We found glitter on the carpet with confetti in star and heart shape (in the second room), drawers are dusty, towels feel old and there was a used cotton pad in one of the bathrooms. The location of the hotel was great, the staff tried very hard to help us and are friendly. However, we are really not impressed with the cleanliness. The bed sheets seem clean but once you opened up you will see how disgusting the mattress protector is with hair / stain (we wish we didn’t check).
