The condo hotel has a great location near shopping & business district. The condotel itself is old and tired looking. The room was basic, clean, functional but the towels were old & worn. Thankfully the AC & fridge worked well. As in all hotels I’ve been too in the Philippines, the staff was courteous, friendly & helpful. There’s visible security staff always present at the small lobby which I thought was unusual for a no frills condotel. Overall, I would recommend Princess Plaza as a good value if you’re looking for a no-frills, functional room close to the shopping centers.

I booked a Deluxe Suite at the Makati Shangri La and the room was spacious and comfortable. Unfortunately despite the website stating that a DVD player was in the suite there was none as they had apparently upgraded the TV and the new TV did not have a DVD connection and the new TV controls were a nightmare as they do not have a numerical button to change stations. The first night I was unable to change from CNN and the bedroom TV was stuck in menu mode so the next day the technician came to explain the controls and had to call in a colleague to re-programme the TV after which some channels worked but many channels showed an error message that the cable was not plugged in correctly to the set top box so they could not be accessed.
Unlike other Horizon Club lounges this hotel did not have a chardonnay for the cocktail hour but a prosecco, viognier and pinot gris none of which I normally enjoy but the shiraz and cabernet sauvignon were acceptable. Likewise the canapes were sparse and only paired with the white wine and not the red (which a lot of lounges are guilty of). There was a small selection of cocktails available. The lounge staff were very friendly and helpful even on the busy nights bar the first night when I was left waiting for a while to replenish my wine glass.

Great value for your money!
I booked a family room but unfortunately it was fully booked that time so the receptionist offered us 2 single rooms near each other. I would love that we'd stayed in the family room but we don't have a choice but to accept the offer for 2 single rooms (I got off from a 10-hour trip and I need to take a rest as soon as I can). The good thing about this place is that it's just across from Greenbelt mall and it's right at the Makati Central Business District (CBD).
I don't find the swimming pool suitable for adults due to its small size so I think it's way better for kids to use.

The room was a little cold but they adjusted and it felt much better. Excellent service they are fast to respond when I left my charger in the room. Location is amazing. Food is excellent. Do note breakfast area has dress code does not allow singlets

Stayed for a day only but had good experience, staffs are super kind, nice, willing to help you. And also I used gym and swimming pool, things are clean, well managed. The location is super convenient, when you just walk out of the hotel lobby, it’s greenbelt building3. Highly recommend!

We had a 4-day stay at this hotel prior to departing for Europe. I can say that this hotel is a hidden gem and so well located and virtually across the road from Greenbelt 3. The location is one of the best in this area. It may not be 5 star and only lacks a pool but the service, rooms and staff are all 5 star. An exceptional hotel. Rooms are furnised and decorated to a 5 star standard. I have stayed at several 5 star hotels in the area and this is at less than half their price if booked via third party booking sites and their rooms are very well appointed and clean. Excellent value for this area. Bathroom could be updated but it was large clean and functional. Dont be put off by the busy room as we requested a courtyard room away from the street and it was exceptionally quiet. Roa d facing rooms are double-glazed anyway. The included breakfast is plated and either a Filipino or Western Breakfast can be closen. This can also be delivered to your room if requested. They have a rooftop where you can get some good views of the Makati skyline. The staff were their asset as all from the staff from cleaning staff, security to reception were friendly and accomodating. Being a smaller boutique hotel the staff gave you a more personal experience and got to know you and made it feel like home. We were sad to leave.

The staff here are so incredibly kind and accommodating. When we first checked in they told us they upgraded us to a bigger room which was a nice surprise! Unfortunately, the air conditioning wasn’t working so we let them know and they upgraded us to an even BIGGER room! A whole presidential suite that had a living room, bathroom with a tub, and a huge bedroom with a smart TV. We had a special stay for sure and the room was clean and well kept. Breakfast is also quite generous with several choices for food. All in all, would come back for the staff and the hotel upkeep. Special shout out to Ms. Karisse, Amylee, Honey, Pauline, Ralph, and Darwin for an unforgettable experience!

To celebrate my resignstion at work, we booked at this hotel. Accomodating staff! From the moment we check-in the receptionist is hospitable and insisted if we want something to drink. Everyone is polite to cater our needs. Breakfast had a decent selection and was fulfilling. One thing I noticed tho, the lampshade was not dusted thoroughly. Overall, we enjoyed our stay at this hotel.

This hotel needs to be closed as it currently operates. Management needs to totally revamp the definition of hotel service and quality. First ... the good stuff: large rooms, generally clean, good room service room, staff are respectful, fridge and kettle in the room. The bad stuff: biting insects, torn/ripped towels, terrible TV reception which they should know is NOT TV set or provider related (probably bad cables), poor quality WiFi always cutting out and low quality, useless balconies looking to a close wall of the next building (supposed to be ”city view” ... what a joke!), poor / nil sunlight thanks to the building at the balcony and thus depressing to be in the room (especially when one is quarantining for 10 days!!!). Management was either silent of full of excuses for the problems.

JJEJGI booked the Premier Studio and it was much bigger and spacious than the Deluxe studio. The only problem is there wasn’t any couch to lounge on. Space was underutilized and there was a roundtable that doesn’t serve any purpose. It would’ve been perfect if there were any sofa or a small dining table (and chairs).
Nonetheless, the Seda brand is very reliable.

PPengguna TetamuStayed at discovery for 2 nights and had an excellent time. Staff was welcoming and very accomodating the moment we checked in, everything went smoothly! We stayed at a room with 2 double beds and it was clean and spacious. Their gym is well equiped. My favorite part is their pool, view is great and it’s what sold me to book this place and it did not disappoint. Their manager Nikko was responsive to inquiries and made the stay even better. Would definitely recommend staying here to friends/family!

PPengguna TetamuThis was my favorite hotel in the philippines. Until the last trip where we were blamed for smoking in the room. Which the staff clearly tells you you can do on the balcony. Upon check out, they seen a cigarette butt. In the trash can and then charged me.An additional ten thousand pesos. Asking for the policy on smoking, it states nowhere that the room cannot have cigarette butts and things of that nature within the waistcans. After questioning the staff regarding the fine the Staff constantly told me you could smoke on the balcony.But not in the room. But then continue to find me for smoking in the room, even though the smoke detector did not deploy. I think in front of them about the problem.And they left me sitting in the lobby for over an hour and a half for a manager to contact me. The rooms also lack certain items that they claim. They have some have washers machines some don't. Beware of the bath and the shower they're super. Tall and super dangerous to climb in and out of i'm not sure who designed that, but they need to go back and look at the architecture. For some reason, the first time i've ever seen in my forty years of life, someone decided to put the bathroom lock on the bottom of the door i'm not sure what they decided to accomplish with this, but even when I tried to lock the door it was unlockable. The views are beautiful, however, and the pool downstairs is pretty nice. The spa though sucks, however, because you have to take 2 elevator rides to actually get to where you're going right running around the hotel in a bath robe... The room denies and the layout's good spokennoise but with the recent issues with a ten thousand peso fine For no fault Of our own and the staff leaving me hanging while running away and not confronting the issue.I will not be staying at oakwood again.

PPengguna TetamuWe had an executive deluxe queen room and I need to say that room was quite spacious. Good bathroom, good bed. Everything in good style. Staff very friendly. Another thing - extremely nice localisation, in the heart of Makati district. Restaurants, shops, massage saloons were just next to. Famous Burgos street only 2 minutes by walk. For sure I would book this hotel again if I will be in Manila.

CChrish_OGThe room we had was so clean and the breakfast buffet was very nice. I sent my special request for a room with a view and they gave us a room with a great view! The service was very nice, the staff are all very friendly and accommodating. My husband and I had a great time. The only downside were the parking garage was confusing because there were no signs that can lead us to the exit. The amenities like the elevators were also a bit old and when we tried to go to our floor (30th flr), from the top flr, its not allowing us to go there so when we realized what was going on, had to stop to the 29th flr and use the emergency exit to go to our floor. No biggie but i would like to see more signs in the future to avoid this incident. Overall, we will come and visit again. :)

GGvTraveltheworldThis is my first time i checked in. Well everything seems like fine and great. How ever what i wont like is. When i got visitor with me walking to elevator then suddenly a security personnel ask ID of my friend. Seems like we dont have my private space. Aside from too much small room. I can hear other room voices . Well thats 2 thing i see and its not impress me.

TtravelwithprincessThe hotel is accessible to nearby fastfood chains and atms. The hotel staff is very friendly and often greets you . The room is very clean and has no other smell. They have a table and sink that most other hotels don't have. We have a good time staying here and definitely going back again.
