Ulasan Aurora Hotel

It’s a bit of a distance from Jonker but we liked it this way bcos we need the walk to digest the foods we ate 😆. I noticed some ppl complained Abt this hotel’s services or amenities but what you paid is what you get lah, if you expect so much then I think you shd look for those big hotel chains. I’ll book this hotel again if I were to come to Melaka.

clean and quiet environment. nothing too fancy but a good place to crash out when needed

While the hotel is a bit dated, it was quite clean. The front desk staff were also very friendly. My only real issue was the room's somewhat odd design: two full-length mirrors directly faced the bed. If you're particular about such things, you might want to cover them with a towel.

The room is spacious and clean. Free private parking is available. Receptionist is polite and told us check out time is 1pm.

This hotel has serious issues with integrity, attitude, and facilities, bordering on defrauding guests with taxes and providing terrible service. The Wi-Fi speed was zero, and the shower water was never hot. I'm rarely moved to write a review, but I encountered so many problems here. 1. **Integrity**: During check-in, the front desk staff immediately asked me to pay a 20 MYR tax without verifying anything. Luckily, I was cautious and checked my booking, which clearly stated taxes were included. I refused to pay and expressed my dissatisfaction. The hotel should have verified the booking or confirmed with the guest first, instead of demanding payment upfront. The front desk showed no apology. 2. **Wi-Fi**: The hotel had two Wi-Fi networks. One was completely broken and could never be connected to. The other was barely usable in the lobby but couldn't even be detected in the room. On the first night, I asked to switch rooms, but the hotel refused, citing full occupancy. They offered no compensation or apology, instead blaming the government for the poor Wi-Fi and telling guests to complain to them. On the second night, I switched rooms and could detect the Wi-Fi, but it was constantly connecting and disconnecting. Even when connected, the speed was practically zero. 3. **Hot Water**: The hot water heater in the hotel was tiny, making it impossible to take a proper hot shower. The water was simply not hot. 4. **Service Attitude**: Throughout all these issues, the hotel's front desk and management never once apologized for their service failures or facility problems. Instead, they were arrogant and constantly shifted blame.

The room is bright and clean, just the aircon is a little lousy that need some maintenance, location is perfect where you can have some local food and beers at the opposite food court at night.

Such a comfort hotel 💕

The hotel is in a strategy location which is near to Jonker and also Little India. Hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. Will stay again next time. Only problem is just the wall Abit think and the floor not carpeted which can hear sound from surrounding rooms.

Walking distance to jonker street (15mins) 10mins to the shore sky tower Everything is good, basic amenities provided Sound proof 👎 I can hear clearly what next door talking about And thanks for providing hotel slipper, that’s a good “tools” for us to kill cockroaches At least 5-7 cockroaches were killed by us. Please! I don’t expect superb service from your hotel but at least pest control ! This really makes me disappointed.

So far so good, nice, my relative helped me book for this , everyrginf smooth, can easily find my fast food restaurants
