Southern Inn

We paid $3000 through ******* for 2 rooms (5 days in one, 3 in the other) during Bonnaroo. We arrived at the hotel and were told the double rooms we booked were not available, single kings only. No discount offered. We were then informed (quite rudely) by the man working the desk there would be a 425 damage deposit on the card put on the card that would be returned after checkout. We checked out 2 days ago, I asked the same rude man upon check out about the deposit and he assured the refund would be issued. Now 2 days later I called to ask when to expect it, and I'm getting a complete runaround; "I don't know what your talking about, we don't usually do that" this lady seemed nicer than the guy offered to call the owner and call me back. She did, but told me "I can't help you, you'll have to call *******" I said my card has 2 charges from ******* and one from the southern inn. ******* didn't charge me a damage deposit you did. I go nowhere and will probably have to pay 425 extra on top of the ridiculous original amount. I've stay at a lot of rooms all over places. This was by far the worst experience I've had

We stay here alot. The new management seems to be alot better than the previous one. The only thing that was bad is the wifi. It is horrible. At least the one for the guest is. Cant connect if your lucky enough to get it to even pull up. Im hopinh the new mang. Buys more routers or extenders or something cuz you cant get any work dome there.

They are rude people trying to sell stuff to us bugs knocking on the door 25 minutes to check out. Just an upgrade from being homeless. Asked for toilet paper and the woman just looked at my wife and laughed will never come back to this dive ever again. I will recommend nobody stays here!!!

Supposed to be non smoking room. Smelled of smoke. Cigarette burn in bed spread. One trash can.

RUN AWAY. The room was disgusting. I pulled the comforter back and roaches fell out. There were dead bugs all over the room. Food debris everywhere. Animal waste on the floors. I went to the front desk and requested a refund and the staff told me that ******* would have to refund it. ******* told me it’s up to the hotel. No one will refund my $190 and so I’m out all that money and still had to go book another room somewhere else. This is bad business.

Was clean the beds were made we didn't find any problems The outside was dated and look like it was run down but the inside was really nice The room was a little dark could have used a couple more lamps brighter walls we had a non-smoking room the room did have a mild smell of smoke but after telling the front desk they told us that they would air it out so they were willing to take care of it. Overall we would stay there again.

Very clean, quiet, good lighting. Great value for cost

We booked a smoke free room. They gave us a room and when we went to it, the door was cracked and it reeked of ****! We told them and got a different room and they gave us one that had the smoke alarm disabled and hanging by the wires. This room also smelled like smoke. The pillows were also the worst we’ve seen in a hotel. We did not feel comfortable there and didn’t want to deal with it so we packed back up and drove through the night, instead of sleeping there. Terrible experience!

Stayed 4 days and they never changed the sheets or towels.
