La Fructuosa

After an initial mix up with my booking, Daniel the owner, helped me out and what an amazing place this is! Pilar and every staff member we encountered, were so friendly and professional. Our room, recommended by Daniel's Wife "Pueblo" was, as requested, romantic and beautiful with amazing views! We ate in the restaurant and the food and wine were sublime! Thank you all for making our Anniversary, just perfect!

Stayed overnight on a business trip at this artistic and bohemian hotel in stunning Gaucin. Made to feel very welcome by owner Daniel. The rooms were comfortable, the breakfast was generous and the setting was amazing with views to Gibraltar and on a clear evening north Africa. Highly recommended.

We were made so very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Rooms were clean and very comfortable, the fan in the room was a great to take the edge of the heat. Breakfast was just right and there were no restrictions on how many times you went to “top up” - the orange juice and coffee hit the spot everytime

I had the pleasure of a short stay here and couldn't ask for anymore. The hospitality from Daniel and the beautiful room all exceeded my expectations! The views from my room each morning were breathtaking. On my list to revisit soon!

Wow! What an amazing place to stay in Gaucin. We were welcomed so warmly by our host, Daniel who showed us to our amazing room ( El Jardin) with gorgeous views and very comfortable beds, extensive amenities and a lovely bathroom . We were very comfortable . We had incredible meals in the restaurant and loved the leafy, cool terrace. All the staff were fantastic, so attentive and helpful. Breakfast is served in the restaurant surrounded by the remains of the old wine press. Every day the breakfast was superb with freshly squeezed orange juice, croissants, hams, meats, cheeses, fresh fruits, cereals and yogurts. As well as hot coffee and teas . An amazing start to the day. The hotel is quite central in the village and there are lots of things to see and do , such as explore the local old castle, walk along the pretty streets, explore further afield for amazing walks into the glorious countryside. We stayed 4 days and loved every minute. We will definitely be back.

What an amazing hotel and service at Fructuosa. I booked the whole hotel for a business away day and overnight stay. Rooms are fantastic, owners so helpful and the entire experience was superb. Fully recommend this place , my colleagues loved it !

A huge thank you to Daniel and Catherine for helping me to organise a surprise party for 29 guests. Also a massive thank you to José, Arellia, and the rest of the team in the kitchen and front of house. The previously agreed set meal was amazing and all of our guests are talking about how delicious everything was, especially the Iberian pork which was cooked perfectly, and the tastiest pork we have ever had, and.. not to mention the best chocolate coulant! The service on the floor was first class with Arellia, Pili & Loli keeping the food and wine flowing at perfect pace. The hotel terrace (or inside) is the perfect place to entertain guests and we had the most amazing time. Thank you team Fructuosa for making the evening very special. If you are looking for an amazing venue to entertain guests or just to go for a quiet meal then this is the place to go! And, if you are looking for the perfect musician for a party then Marcus Myers is definitely the entertainer you need, he made our evening very special and we danced our feet off! A truly unforgettable evening.

We just came from a beautiful Saturday lunch and enjoyed the incredible Tasting Menu. Not only was it amazing value at 47 Euros for 7 courses but each and every bite was a treat in itself. The presentation was beautiful, the service impeccable and the views breathtaking. One of the best meals we've had in a very long time. Will definitely be back.

I stayed for 4 nights at Hotel La Fructuosa and thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I had stunning views from my room and the hotel is at the heart of Gaucin. Daniel was extremely helpful in arranging all the travel logistics, especially during the time of the pandemic. I had dinner at the hotel on one of the nights and it was a great experience as well. I can't wait to return back to Gaucin again!
