Hotel di , Marseille

Stayed in this hotel in June 22. Have to admit that my first impression was student halls but we adapted well. The apartment was small but very clean. We had one bedroom but only big enough to house twin beds and a bedside table and a lamp. The beds were very comfortable. There was a separate toilet and a small bathroom with a over bath shower. I first thought that the bath was not clean but it was just here the enamel had worn away. There was a small kitchenette with cooker, fridge and dishwasher. We didn’t use it except for tea and coffee as we had B&B which was good the lady in the dining room was very friendly and was happy to help. We ate out for dinner. There is a table and chairs and a sofa bed in the living area plus a tv. The balcony was big and facing the sea which was nice with lovely views over the bay. There were patio table and chairs. If you are staying less than 8 days you won’t get room service but will provide it at an extra cost. There is a free safe deposit in all rooms. I think this is because of covid. There is free WiFi and a safety deposit box. There is no hairdryer in the rooms but you can get one from reception at no cost if you ask. Reception were ok but didn’t speak much English but we were in France after all so got by. The pool is small but nice the only thing is that there is no seating around the pool. Most people were just sitting on the decking on towels. The hotel is just 5 minutes from the beach. The only thing is that it was not Sandy but stony and gritty not good for making sand castles. There are no sun beds or parasols to hire, and very little shade. There is a Sandy beach further down the bay about 10 mins walk. There are restaurants close by but also more on the Sandy beach which is lovely. Also a good supermarket near too. You can get a bus into the city on the road next to the hotel the No 83 is €2 per person each way along the coast to the marina. I have to say that the external walls of the hotel need to be tidied up they look very tired. A lick of paint is needed badly, and maybe the rooms brought up to date a little. Maybe the hotel group could invest some funds into doing this. All in all we had a good stay but it could have been better. Thank you to all staff the made our stay comfortable.

We just stayed here last week. Props for the bunk beds which was helpful with family travel, but overall I found the hotel to be dirty. The hallway outside our room had crumbs everywhere and didn't look like it had been vacuumed in a while. The shower in our room wasn't as clean as I'd like. A tile outside our toilet room was loose and there was random water (?) behind the toilet long after room service had been there. While the property appears to be new, it is not in great condition and not as clean as it should be.

Séjour d’un nuit à l’occasion d’un match au vélodrome.Premier séjour car d’habitude nous allons au Novotel Prado Vélodrome mais il était complet quand j’ai réservé. Je me suis rabattue sur le BB hôtel avec une petite appréhension car le standing et plus bas …Par contre pas le prix lorsqu’il y a un match ! Très agréable surprise dès notre arrivée.Mes demandes faites à la réservation ont été respectées ( 2 chambres côte à côte car ce sont nos enfants dans la 2ème chambre + dernier étage)Sachant que l’hôtel était complet c’est très appréciable. Réservation possible d’un parking.A notre arrivée il n’y avait plus de place dans le parking car des personnes s’étaient garées sur 2 places.Le jeune homme de la réception à été très réactif et efficace car il nous a déplacé les jardinières de fleurs pour que nous puissions nous garer devant l’hôtel.Bravo et merci ! Arrivée dans la chambre ,très agréable surprise également.Une salle de bains fonctionnelle ( avec Wc à l’intérieur mais je le savais).Un belle douche avec une paroi en verre .J’avais pris une chambre « plus » donc cafetière Nespresso ,2 bouteilles d’eau et coffre fort.Lit très confortable et chambre totalement insonorisée alors qu’elle est au pied du vélodrome.Manque de rangement mais pour une nuit ce n’est pas gênant. Je ne met pas 5 étoiles car il nous a manqué un balcon ,le mini bar et le room-service que nous avons l’habitude d’utiliser pour le petit-déjeuner mais quand même une très agréable surprise. Bravo et merci aux membres du personnel pour leur courtoisie et leur professionnalisme. Je recommande cet établissement a 100 %

A s shown on apartment city review. 3 problems ici, Un, le boite de securite ne marche pas. Deux, les couvertures de la climitisation (A/C) sont ouvert. Un ou deux de mes amis n'a pas A/C qui marche. Trois, j'ai requeste 5 nuits mais l'hotl m'a offrit 4 nuits. Sur ma dernier jour, a la derniere heure, le boss (ou maman) m'a offrit un nuit addiionel! Mais j'ai reserve deux nuits avant j'arrive a un autre place et ca me coute de canceller. Donc je suis separe de mes amis pour le dernier jour.

We booked this mainly for the location near the stadium for the rugby world cup match and arrived by private car. One clinching factor whilst booking was the availability of carparking - this was stated on the booking voucher as 'Indoor car parking - allocated on arrival', quite a necessity given Marseille's reputation. On arrival we found that the car parking no longer existed, a fact we had not been made aware of. We were forced to either park on the street or use the local city car park at €30 per day - not a small charge! The receptionist was completely unsympathetic The literature in the room mentioned the hotel carparking facilities at €15/day and one door in reception was even marked 'Park Garage'. The breakfast was distinctly average, with much of the offerings having run-out by the time we got to breakfast - not late. Overall I would not recommend this hotel. The location was good but the whole experience was decidely average-to-low.

I found staff really helpful. They changed my room for me so I could get a terrace and sea view and I really appreciated this. The hotel has an airy light Califonia feel and is well situated up the Corniche. The hotel can be reached very easily by a bus (no 83) from the port of Marseille and runs up and down so frequently, you'll never be waiting long and there is a stop right infront of the hotel. It's a very easy journey, and very beautiful too along the coastline, and I'd say it took about 10 -12 minutes. In fact, I left someting in my safe and had to contact the hotel and go straight back on the bus from Marseille centre and it was not too much stress, again staff very helpful. The bay it's in is lovely and its really charming walking along the coast of the Corniche. The hotel benefits from being close enough to the centre of Marseille with regular transport and just enough away from the bustle of the port for a more tranquil experience and to enjoy the stunning coastline and the surrounding bays and beaches. The bus route and the hotel itself provides great views of Chateau d’If. Peacful at night, I enjoyed sitting on my terrace with a drink watching the view well into the night. I was travelling alone and I never felt unsafe at all in Marseille, in fact, I'd love to go back.

Hôtel propre et accueillant personnel sympa, nous avons eu un petit souci de déjeuner que l’hotesse d’accueil à tout de suite régler. Chambres climatisée et calme literie de qualité, manque cependant un petit frigo. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour
